This place is TERRIBLE. And extremely rude and unprofessional. I arrived to my appointment on time, that I made a few days ahead of time. I wanted a gel polish change on my nails. About 15 minutes into the service they made me get up and move to a different person. I guess someone else came in and wanted the person who was working on my nails? Never in my life have I been moved around like that especially when I had an appointment and was on time for it. I was shocked. The next person I was passed off to was so incredibly rude I still can't rationalize it. First, she criticized my nails. After she was almost done she was disgusted that my nails were my real nails and not fake tips and acrylics? How is your job to do nails and you can't even tell a REAL nail from a FAKE nail. I am constantly complimented on my nails, people are shocked they are real because they are so healthy and nice looking. She then said they are too long??? I'll post a picture and you can decide for yourself if they are too long. I told her what color I wanted. I said I wanted a bright red and gave her the number on the sample. When she brought it over and started painted my nails she looked at me disgusted and said "you said you wanted red, this is orange" and I said "no, this is red. I want a bright red, not a deep blue toned red. This is what I want". I never asked for her opinion. Clearly she did not like the color but that's not her job. I posted a picture, you can tell me if the color is red or orange. Guess she never learned if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. At the end, my nails were sticky. She didn't wipe them off so I said something and asked if they could be wiped down. This has happened to me before at this location so I always check now. She didn't believe me so she checked for herself and it pissed her off that I was right. At this point I had already decided I'm never coming back here. Finally, they charged me $50 for a gel polish change. No manicure, no design, no shaping, nothing. I am normally charged $25 to $30 for the same service anywhere else. Absolutely do not support this business. It is not appropriate to treat your customers with such distain and rudeness for no reason! I was nothing but punctual and cordial to them. read more

Talk about disappointing, After reading the reviews, I took the chance thinking I was about to get great service and beautiful nails.. I wanna begin by saying that I was greeted very politely . And I want to follow up by stating this is a nail chop shop. They are only interested in getting your money and don't really care about your experience. The woman who greeted me intended on doing my nails, but after a few minutes, decided to pass me along to a gentleman who was very friendly, but also very argumentative and combative. I showed him what I wanted he assured me he was able to replicate the French tip style. I wanted. After beginning the service when it came down to doing the French tip, he was argumentative about the fact that I did not want pink as the underpass and then proceeded to try and tell me I should do another style of Tip from what I asked for After attempting to do the French tip and being unsuccessful, the lady who was supposed to do my Nails came up to me and told me I needed to pay more money after I agreed he tried once and was still unable to do the Nails I tried to be very polite, so I just decided to get a glitter topcoat which he applied very poorly and unevenly so I can definitely say I did not walk out happy I was actually very upset. I still paid and left a tio read more

Large nail salon with at least 20 staff members. The personnel were somewhat friendly but it was crowded and loud, so hard to hear. My technician worked very quickly...too quickly. The massages were short. I asked for a buff on my hands and the nails were not shiny when done. That was 30.00. The pedicure was excellent, well worth 40.00 All in all, I was happy with pedicure and mixed about the manicure. I will not be back due to the size of the salon. Just not relaxing due to too many techs and customers. I might observe that 70.00 is a lot of money! read more

Reasonably price basic pedicure. They always have room for walk-ins. Gel pedicure lasts a long time. Staff if very friendly and welcoming.

This nail salon is severely overpriced. I wanted to take my daughter who is 11 for her birthday, and they totally ripped us off. Unless you plan on spending between $140-$200.... Don't come to this salon. And massages on feet are little to none. Trust me when I say...this place rips people off BIG TIME! read more

My experience here wasn't great, it was average at best. My toenails came out looking really messy, to the point that I could have done a better job myself. I somewhat expected that because of the other three star reviews, but the location was convenient and I wanted to give it a try. I had an appointment at 2:45, I didn't get seated until 3:00, and my pedicure didn't start until 3:15. I was originally planning on doing both a pedicure and manicure, but ran out of time and had to leave without a manicure. I felt like my appointment was kind of pointless, I would have the same wait time if I had just walked in. The pedicure was very average. There wasn't a lot of cuticle cutting or shaping done on my nails. I asked her to reshape one nail in particular on my big toe, which she did, but it still came out pretty crooked and not like the nicely manicured look that I'd hope for from a pedicure. My toes are suuuuper tiny, so I know it's really difficult to get it then painted and even, but on the big toe especially I expect it to look neat, and it just didn't. The place was clean, the staff was all super friendly and kind, but I wouldn't come back. read more

Easily the worst Mani/Pedi I have ever had. My toenails were messy at best and they argued with my friend when she asked for a touchup because the manicurist smudged it. Three people came over to Inspect and kept asking "whats the problem?? I see nothing wrong" - it was really weird. Like clearly the huge smudge it what is wrong. My manicure was so bad it was laughable - The man who was assigned to me was incredibly distracted and rude. He wasn't paying attention at all and cut my nails as short as you possibly can without asking. He did 4 layers of powder dip and FOUR layers of shellac. My nails are thicker than anything I have ever seen before and I will probably never be able to get them off. I will die with these nails on. Cuticles were flooded and everything was uneven. Over all, it's going to be a hard pass next time. **with that said, the woman who did my friends manicure was incredible and she did a phenomenal job read more

Worst pedicure ever. The guy was looking around at other things the entire time and it was very obvious he would literally rather be anywhere. He cut my cuticles and made them bleed, and he kept trimming them over and over. He couldn't keep the polish on my toes either as there was several spots on my skin around the nail. He also told me my nails were dry, so i put my shoes on. Not at all to my surprise my nails were smudged when I got home. Do not recommend. Younger guy was t e r r i b l e. read more

I made an appointment online yesterday. I received a confirmation text from Viv later in the evening letting me know my appointment was accepted. I then got on Yelp and read some reviews. I nearly texted back and cancelled my appointment but I am SO glad I didn't. I got the Bella Signature Pedicure and a Deluxe manicure. It was one of the best pedicures I've ever had and the manicure design came out great. A group of 3 college age girls showed up 30 minutes late to their appointment while I was there. The woman in the front had let another woman get in for a walk in appointment about 10 minutes before that, stating that the other appointments were a no show so she could get them in. Another girl came in right before the group showed up and they got her in as well. When they were told they would have to wait because they were so late, the girls started complaining to each other about it loudly. I was shocked that their behavior. They had time to go get coffee and get done up to go to the nail salon, but couldn't show up on time and then complained that they had to wait? Self centered, snotty brats is all I could think. I'm sure that's where these negative reviews are coming from. Viv and crew, thank you so much for taking care of me today. Everyone was so friendly and kind and you all handled the rudeness with such grace. I appreciated the services I received and will recommend you to everyone who asks! read more

I have never had such a poor manicure. I had an appointment and they were ready for me at the time. That was the only good thing. The water to soak my hands was cold and no soap or cuticle cream. All I wanted was basic, cut nails and buff shine no polish. The cut, file (if you could call it that) were horrible not to mention the buff polish. My nails were not even even in any way. I will never go back read more

I came here to get my acrylics done. Love them when finish, although they were pretty overpriced. Within three days three nails had popped off. On day three gel started to chip off. I called asking what it would be like to get them fixed as they were at fault. They went on to tell me it would be about the same cost as a full set. I am extremely disappointed. I will never be returning. I would highly not recommend! read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My nail technician was inattentive and sloppy with my pedicure. My base coat was put on so unevenly that it left lines underneath the color. She spent about 5 seconds filing my nails. The massage part was less than the bare minimum I've ever experienced. When she was done, she told me my nails were dry and to put my boots on, and rushed me out. When I got home they were completely smudged. I'm pregnant and can't reach my toes, so I'm pretty disappointed about the messy job. I needed some pampering, but I was left in a worse mood. I'll be going somewhere else to get them redone and regret the waste of money here - it was a birthday gift from my husband and I'll be sad to tell him what a disappointment it was. read more

I usually go here but I just had a really weird experience and probably won't be back. I came today with my friend and her nails were awesome! Her's we're $75 for a two color design. Mine were 3 color design fill for $55z As seen in the picture, they were out of every color I wanted and he kind of argued with me about the white line. I really try not to be difficult and told him from the very start that I can go with something more simple (like just colored tips) but he persisted and this is what the outcome. I hardly ever write reviews but after paying $55 (for a fill mind you) I thought it was time to be bold and say something. read more

I wish I could leave a better review but honestly Bella is hit or miss. I've had my best manicures done here but also my worst. Unfortunately I've recently had my all time worst. The nail tech was SO nice, but needs practice. My cuticles are torn up and in pain, my nails are too short, and they aren't the same size on both hands. I would still highly recommend Bella, just know consistency isn't always there. read more

Disappointed with service. I got a dip manicure. The nails look pretty good except my right thumb nail has a weird impression pattern on it. The guy that did them literally just did the dip. No hand massage. No other care for my nails. He said I was done and I looked down and he didn't even touch my cuticles. I had to ask him to please trim my cuticles because they looked like total shit. That's half the reason I get manicures. Paid $55 for literally just a dip. Disappointed. Won't be back. read more

$50 for a fill? Outrageously expensive. Not even NYC, LA, or Miami charge that much. I understand Bozeman is growing and becoming more expensive but DAMN! No hand massage, no arm massage, nothing extra included for that price. I couldn't believe it. read more

Unfortunately I had another bad experience here. Spent over two hours for a regular manicure and pedicure. Both were sloppy with no attention to detail or care. For $55 I would have expected both in spades. When both my hands and feet were messed up in the process I pointed it out and asked to fix it. The response was so rude I was stunned into silence. Left with blobs of polish, strings of cotton and lumps and cracks, the man told me they were done. Luckily a younger gentlemen saw this and came over to assist. He kindly tried to fix both my fingers and toes, and even went as far as helping me out with my belongings in the rain. Sadly the nails still were cracked and uneven. read more

I have come here religiously for a few years now. I used to love coming here but things have changed. To me the service has gone down hill and so has the quality of the work they do. I also feel they have been rude to me the last few times I have been in. I have never been rude or unkind to them and I always leave a tip regardless of how My nails/toes look. This is sad to me because it is close to my home and work and is easy for me. After my experience today I have to say I don't think I will be returning. read more

I love this salon! They have a great selection of polish colors and are always getting new, on-trend products. I'm incredibly picky about shape, acrylic thickness, and polish uniformity and Vivian really takes her time with me and always kills it. I usually come in after work and am frequently the last client there, but I never feel rushed. I have never experienced the rudeness that other reviewers mention; I've had nothing but positive interactions with the employees. Just like other multi-chair salons, a significant amount of their customers are walk-ins, so there is occasionally a wait even if you have an appointment. Bring a book (or a beer). Prices are more expensive than in urban areas, but on point with other salons in Bozeman. read more

I recently switched to Bella nails after previous bad experiences at another nail salon here in Bozeman. So far, I I have not been disappointed! They take their time and make sure their customers are happy with their results. Moreover, the shape of my nails is beautiful and they haven't chipped or fell off. The only reason I didn't give Bella 5 stars is because I would like to see more complex nail art (rings, rhinestones, ombres, MATTE COLORS, 3D decor...etc). I had heard fantastic things about Bella Nails from multiple people. I usually go to Le Nails in the mall but decided to give Bella a go. HUGE MISTAKE. The gentleman giving me my pedicure got up probably 5-7 different times to do other things around the salon and left me sitting there. Did not clean out underneath my toenails at all and showed little to no interest in even being there giving me this pedicure. TERRIBLE customer service. I asked for a small white flower in the corner of my big toe and got a giant white/hot pink/lime green flower covering my entire toe. Not to mention all the polish was SLOPPY. I paid for the pedicure and drove straight to Le Nails and asked them to fix my toes. They ended up repainting all of my toes and gave me exactly what i asked for. In and out within 10 minutes just for polish - they got a much larger tip than Bella Nails. I won't be going to Bella Nails again. read more

I loved everything about my service here. Ask for Tracy, she was able to do a whole set in only 50 minutes on really, short bitten nails. She was so sweet and asked me so many questions about if they were exactly how I want them. I was seated very quickly being a walk in, and the man who did my nails was very good, he stopped every now and then to make sure I liked the way my nails looked and he made sure he wasn't hurting my hands by asking if what he was doing was painful.
