My manicure was so bad it was laughable - The man who was assigned to me was incredibly distracted and rude. He wasn't paying attention at all and cut my nails as short as you possibly can without asking. He did 4 layers of powder dip and FOUR layers of shellac. My nails are thicker than anything I have ever seen before and I will probably never be able to get them off. I will die with these nails on. Cuticles were flooded and everything was uneven. My experience here wasn't great, it was average at best. My toenails came out looking really messy, to the point that I could have done a better job myself. I somewhat expected that because of the other three star reviews, but the location was convenient and I wanted to give it a try. I had an appointment at 2:45, I didn't get seated until 3:00, and my pedicure didn't start until 3:15. I was originally planning on doing both a pedicure and manicure, but ran out of time and had to leave without a manicure. I felt like my appointment was kind of pointless, I would have the same wait time if I had just walked in. The pedicure was very average. There wasn't a lot of cuticle cutting or shaping done on my nails. I asked her to reshape one nail in particular on my big toe, which she did, but it still came out pretty crooked and not like the nicely manicured look that I'd hope for from a pedicure. I made an appointment online yesterday. I received a confirmation text from Viv later in the evening letting me know my appointment was accepted. I then got on Yelp and read some reviews. I nearly texted back and cancelled my appointment but I am SO glad I didn't. I got the Bella Signature Pedicure and a Deluxe manicure. It was one of the best pedicures I've ever had and the manicure design came out great. A group of 3 college age girls showed up 30 minutes late to their appointment while I was there. The woman in the front had let another woman get in for a walk in appointment about 10 minutes before that, stating that the other appointments were a no show so she could get them in. Another girl came in right before the group showed up and they got her in as well. When they were told they would have to wait because they were so late, the girls started complaining to each other about it loudly. I was shocked that their behavior. They had time to go get coffee and get done up to go to the nail salon, but couldn't show up on time and then complained that they had to wait? Self centered, snotty brats is all I could think. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My nail technician was inattentive and sloppy with my pedicure. My base coat was put on so unevenly that it left lines underneath the color. She spent about 5 seconds filing my nails. The massage part was less than the bare minimum I've ever experienced. When she was done, she told me my nails were dry and to put my boots on, and rushed me out. When I got home they were completely smudged. I'm pregnant and can't reach my toes, so I'm pretty disappointed about the messy job. I needed some pampering, but I was left in a worse mood. Disappointed with service. I got a dip manicure. The nails look pretty good except my right thumb nail has a weird impression pattern on it. The guy that did them literally just did the dip. I'm incredibly picky about shape, acrylic thickness, and polish uniformity and Vivian really takes her time with me and always kills it. I usually come in after work and am frequently the last client there, but I never feel rushed. I have never experienced the rudeness that other reviewers mention; I've had nothing but positive interactions with the employees. Just like other multi-chair salons, a significant amount of their customers are walk-ins, so there is occasionally a wait even if you have an appointment. Bring a book (or a beer). I loved everything about my service here. Ask for Tracy, she was able to do a whole set in only 50 minutes on really, short bitten nails. She was so sweet and asked me so many questions about if they were exactly how I want them. The gentleman giving me my pedicure got up probably 5-7 different times to do other things around the salon and left me sitting there. Did not clean out underneath my toenails at all and showed little to no interest in even being there giving me this pedicure. TERRIBLE customer service. I asked for a small white flower in the corner of my big toe and got a giant white/hot pink/lime green flower covering my entire toe. Not to mention all the polish was SLOPPY. I paid for the pedicure and drove straight to Le Nails and asked them to fix my toes. They ended up repainting all of my toes and gave me exactly what i asked for. In and out within 10 minutes just for polish - they got a much larger tip than Bella Nails. I won't be going to Bella Nails again. read more

I was seated very quickly being a walk in, and the man who did my nails was very good, he stopped every now and then to make sure I liked the way my nails looked and he made sure he wasn't hurting my hands by asking if what he was doing was painful. I had a very unfortunate experience with Bella Nails (especially the gal who handled the appointments-the receptionist/nail tech). I went to the Bella Nails on S 23rd for a face wax and a pedicure. I arrived at 3:40 with a face wax appointment at 3:45 and a pedicure appointment at 4:00. At 4:00, I asked the receptionist when I would be going for a face wax because my pedicure was scheduled at 4:00. She said she was working on it. As in previous times, Helen gave me a great face wax, although I wasn't called back for 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. My pedicure didn't start until 4:30 because the nail tech was busy until 4:30. I waited for 15 minutes after my face wax. Several walk-ins were checked in while I waited for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. When I asked about my 3:45 appointment, the receptionist/nail tech at the front work station was very rude and inconsiderate. She told me I could leave and reschedule. I told her I was not leaving and they should not overbook and give their customers a bad experience. The receptionist/nail tech needs basic 101 customer service training. My pedicure began at 4:30 and he did not ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. I received the quickest/basic pedicure to get me out of there quickly. I did not receive any communication from the nail tech who did my pedicure, and he had somebody else paint my nails with the design. The design was sloppy; my 11 year old granddaughter could've done better. The receptionist/nail tech came over after about 10 minutes of drying time, pulled up on the arm rest, and basically gave me the signal it was time to leave. My nails did not have time to dry. I proceeded to pay, and the receptionist/nail tech charged me $85. I had questions on the cost of the face wax; she said the price went up $5 ($40). She proceeded to tell me the pedicure was $35 plus $10 for the design. I asked about the increase in price for the design (the menu stated $3 each-which would be $6 total for me) she indicated $10 was for a special design, whatever that means. I didn't have a special design done. Maybe you'll learn not to overcharge, overbook, and rush people through there like cattle. It kind of takes the "relaxation" out of the pedicure. If businesses are truly taking COVID precautions, I shouldn't be crammed in such tight quarters. read more
