Rebecca, the owner and my stylist, is truly exceptional, professional, incredibly accommodating, and always willing to work with me to find appointment times that fit my schedule. Beyond her talent, she is one of the kindest people I know, which makes every visit such a positive experience. Over the years, I've seen so many women leave the salon with stunning haircuts and color, not only from Rebecca, but from the other stylists as well. The level of skill across the salon is consistently impressive. The pricing is also very fair for the area, especially considering the quality of work and experience you receive. The salon itself is beautiful, calming, and thoughtfully designed. It's clear how much effort Rebecca has put into creating a relaxing and welcoming space over the years, it truly shows! I asked if the toner was extra at that point and was told yes. That would have been nice to know beforehand, especially since I booked online thinking I would be charged $150. I have never been anywhere that charged separate for toner when getting highlights. I could just have done the toning myself if I had known ahead of time. Plus, I was only there a total of two hours, so a 70 dollar charge for a service that did not extend the time of my appointment for highlights is ridiculous. I paid and left then looked over the website and saw that I didn't make an error in booking. I tried to follow up with the owner by calling and texting, as she has her contact info listed on the website. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it at the salon and wanted to discretely ask the owner because I thought I might potentially want to go back for highlights with no toner if the charge was truly accurate (the stylist I saw is newer to this salon, so wanted further confirmation they charge separate for toner). It's been 3 days since I first tried to contact the owner and still no response. I love how my hair turned out but won't be going back due to lack of responsiveness from the owner. That is even more upsetting to me than the stylist not informing me I would be paying more than what was listed on my booking. Lack of transparency and poor customer service contribute to the low rating here. Nice atmosphere in the salon though and I was happy how my hair turned out. Pretty overpriced though.

I'm from out of town, saw they take walk ins, went in for a mani pedi. I went in at about 2pm, the…read morepedicure took until 4 pm. The staff was really nice but the pedicure got messed up and didn't look great. She was kind and asked if I wanted it redone but after so long for just the pedi I just said it was fine. Next, she started to remove my gel manicure and couldn't get it off. An hour later there was still polish on my nails, and my hands looked horrible from being soaked in acetone for anoher hour!! I didn't get out of there until 5:30! The gel polish hadent been removed properly and my nails are all lumpy. She put a top coat over the incompletely removed gel and charged me 10$ for the service! Now, since I'm out of town, I have to go to a drugstore and buy a nail kit and some nail polish and remover to fix this myself in the hotel. I will probably redo my toes too bc there are lumps on them too. I wouldn't recommend going to this place for nails! I posted a photo so you can see how they looked.

Sharnell is an all-around pro who LISTENS & is meticulous/a perfectionist. I hate square nails; she always shapes them exactly right. They have AWESOME massage chairs for pedicures, coffee/tea/wine, great fashion magazines. I sometimes bring my 8-year-old daughter in with me for a Kiddie Manicure or pedicure. (Sharnell great with little girls.) Sharnell's mom Peggy O'Neill (also a Registered Nurse) owns the business/building and often breezes in between shifts and is always fun to visit with. I always run into girlfriends when in here; it's a popular place & is in the heart of downtown.
