BFFs bday and I flew in so we could spend a much needed weekend catching up. I called 3 places a few weeks in advance and asked for services for 2, not picky, just a fun afternoon. One place gave me an 8a and 1:30p spot together...what? and others just as unhelpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then I spoke to Ms Trinity at The Loft. Hello, Gorgeous! She had us set up for hammam spa, hanging out in dry/wet sauna with cold plunge all within 1:45-4:30p. Then we'd have custom facial for one, massage the other topped off with blowouts before dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was so reasonably priced, lovely and kind estheticians. To top it off our blow outs were delivered by a brand new stylist fresh from school who was efficient, sweet and we looked great before enjoying a drink and apps at the bar at Heist! I was ready for the full court press of buying a ton of product. Nope, not a single "you must buy xyz", nothing other than a great relaxing day at a very reasonable price with my bestie. Can't say enough great things about this place. We'll be back asap. read more

I've had two prenatal massages with Octavia and she is just incredible. She has so much knowledge and skill that translates into the most restful hours of my past 8 months! I highly recommend seeing her for any pregnancy aches and pains. My only regret is not treating myself to more of these appointments. I was new to town and trying to find a stylist & colorist when I picked out the Loft in mid- 2020. I had grown my natural color out for awhile and wanted something lighter - so I opted for a baylage. The girl that was chosen for me absolutely and undeniably torched my hair. It felt like straw for months. It took another year to grow out and tons of money spent on hair masks/ conditioning treatments to look semi OK. Based on this experience alone I would never go back or recommend The Loft. I really don't like giving reviews that reflect poorly on a business. Clearly The Loft Spa has done some work and have wonderful teas and a friendly, atmosphere. However, I've had three treatments here and I'm not going back. I had a not very good haircut, an okay, but not fantastic facial and then just a really bad pedicure yesterday. Again, very friendly nice people, but the pedicure chairs are so incredibly uncomfortable and the massage so very short (maybe 3 mins a foot), that the $65 (!!!!) was a complete waste of money. Really wish I looked at these reviews before I dropped almost $400 here :( my husband booked me a massage mani pedi and facial for Valentine's Day and I get there and they didn't book my facial. I don't get to get away from the kids often so I was so bummed. oh well. i paid $130 not including tip for a mani pedi and just basic polish. it was nothing fancy I rather go to a regular nail salon. I went to get a lash lift here and I have to say that it's by far the worst lash lift I've ever gotten. My lashes actually look shorter after getting a lash lift since my lashes are curling back into my eyelid rather than upward. read more

I decided to book an appointment for my mothers birthday which was over a month ago considering I have never been here before and wanted to make sure I gave them plenty of notice, neither of us have had a full body message before let alone a scalp treatment and a complimentary hammam(sauna). I was told by the lady on the phone a wonderful price and I was very pleased to pay that considering every other spa seemed to be pretty spendy. Once we got to our appoint we out on our slippers which were located right outside the door, then the lady at the front desk took us to our dressing room, but did not seem too friendly at all. Both massage therapists were excellent, but unfortunately the massage was the only good thing about our experience here. We had a 90 minute full body massage and right after a scalp treatment, which consisted of warm coconut oil the therapist rub into your scalp for about 5 minutes. The scalp treatment was pretty rough and it felt like the crinkling of leaves being forcefully rubbed on your head. Right after the massages and scalp treatment we headed into the steam room, which was ok. I'm glad I made the appointment for early that day because we had gotten out of our sauna just in time for others to come in as well as the dressing room. In my opinion, I feel If you are going to have a "couples spa day" it would be more acceptable to block the room off for that time.. When we were leaving the spa I paid with the card I had on file thinking it was just going to be the price I was quoted, but unfortunately it was way more than I was told. I am giving the Loft spa 1 star, because the atmosphere was not great the customer service was awful, and the details of the spa were not very informative. And honestly for the overpriced day I had for my moms birthday I feel it could have been a lot better. read more

I just got charged a lot of money for a shellac pedicure... that did not include a foot soak or a callus treatment or a good buff. The cuticles were not trimmed and neither was the excess skin that we all love to it to have removed. The staff was nice and the location is lovely- the service was a complete ripoff . $76 for the crappy pedi and $24 for shellac removal Im headed back to chi nail bar for my next pedi - well priced, good pedi, fast service, soak and massage... all for less than $50! read more

I have been coming here since the spa opened, mostly for lash and brow treatments. After my experience today, I will not be going back. There's another 1 star review here describing the lash lift gone wrong-I have actually experienced that here too on so many occasions I've stopped requesting that treatment. However, I've continued coming for tinting. I will just do it myself or find another specialist after my service today. So many things about my experience this time were such a huge disappointment. Ultimately I walked out with dye still all over the skin on my brow line and a weird brow trim and wax 'cleanup' that was a hack job. I have no idea what happened. Also the lash tint was hastily applied on top of my mascara, after I mentioned I had eye makeup on and asked if it could be wiped off. "Oh yes, of course!" ...well when I looked in the mirror at home it doesn't even look like the dye held. So many other things were bad today, but if the end result was great I would have left happy. All of it, from scheduling the appointment, to the technician being late. to the wax strings all over my face, to the ugliest eyebrows...When I fork out for something like this I'm hoping to be taken care of. It's a luxury and an expense that I'm willing to splurge on on occasion to feel good about myself. I'm so bummed. I will not be going back. read more

I hate to be rude, the stylist I had to cut my hair was very nice, unfortunately the haircut looks nothing like what I wanted. I essentially paid $80 for a trim. I came in with several pictures of what I wanted and explained what I didn't want, more or less ended up with an exact example of the haircut I didn't want which made me kind of sad. I didn't feel listened to at all. I'm fairly busy and can only get my hair cut a few times a year so I'm stuck with this for the foreseeable future. Really wish I had said something but it's too late now haha. Again, the stylist was extremely nice and but I'm really regretting taking time out of my schedule to pay $80 for a disappointing trim. read more

Amazing find! I was in Bozeman from out of town and ended up at The Loft one afternoon. Some traveling companions and I indulged in the hot-cold therapy followed by a 90 minute massage. The hot-cold treatment was 30 minutes in which you have a steam room and cool shower to switch in between. I personally do not enjoy being too hot or too cold, but having both was surprisingly refreshing. The 90 minute massage was heaven. exactly what you need when traveling. They also have showers so that you can wash away the massage oils when you are finished. General: Their space is beautiful and has some great views of Main St. Service was spectacular. Everyone from the receptionist at the front desk to the massage therapist was polite, friendly, and professional. The prices were very reasonable. The only downside is that the website is somewhat hard to navigate. I wish that they listed their services somewhere. It almost seems like a mistake that when you click on any of the "Spa Experiences" that it takes you directly to the booking page. Regardless, it is worth it. read more

BETHANY IS AMAZING!!! I have very straight, fine hair, but a lot of it. I didn't think it would be so hard to find someone to do a good cut! When I moved here I went somewhere else based off Yelp reviews - they RUINED my hair!! After a few days of just HATING it, I called Loft after several verbal recommendations. Cut my hair before even asking me how i would like off just cut 6inches and.says well lets get.rid of what were not gonna color. I went in to get my hair cut and colored, the cut was fine but the color was extremely different than what I wanted, thankfully they were able to get me in the next day to fix it. What should have been a simple color and trim ended up costing me well over two hundred dollars and half of my weekend. It was very overpriced for what I got, I'm very disappointed with this place and probably won't go back. I am thankful that they got in the next day to fix it but very upset with how much I spent. read more

I booked this place for a prenatal massage while in town killing time when I couldn't white water river raft with my group. I'm SO glad I booked this place before looking at reviews! I probably wouldn't have booked if I saw all the negative reviews. It worried me a bit after I booked, and had pretty low expectations. However, to my surprise, I HAD to come back on and put a good review on here because this place was amazing! From the second I walked in, I was greeted with lovely young ladies who were friendly and welcoming. They showed me around since it was my first time. Fancy robe and dressing room, bathroom, etc. nice waiting lounge too. My massage was FANTASTIC and the best I've ever had at a spa. I had Fran, ask for her! She totally understood and customized the pressure (which I like firm), and it was perfect for what I was looking for. For being a prenatal massage with extra considerations, she was incredible. Not impressed. I went in for a cut a color and although they came out fine, neither one of them were what I asked for. My haircut was something I could have done at home myself. I asked for a trim and I think she literally cut 5 strands of hair. I have been a cosmetologist for close to 15 years and it seems to me, the stylist I had was either really new or had no confidence in what she was doing. I also left with a wet shirt and soap still in my hair. They are too expensive for the quality of service and sadly I would not recommend. read more

I loved my experience at this Spa. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a selection of hot teas in a perfect mug. The Spa has a warm feeling with beautiful modern esthetics. Little twinkly lighting adds to the ambiance. Lily was warm and her expertise was greatly appreciated. I can't say enough about my experience. Everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend this Spa to all. Be sure to ask for Lily she is awesome. Feet feel amazing from the soak and scub to the hot towels and removal of rough heels and callous. My feet not only look amazing but they are very soft. I was offered a small container of nuts and chocolate. I felt very cared for. Worth every penny. However, she did a really poor job she cut my hair so straight I had to go to another salon to have it recut two days later. She also styled my hair exceedingly poorly (left curly streaks in the back of straightened hair) which I had to fix once I got home. I went to The Loft this weekend for a massage after a 1/2 marathon. I was lucky enough to get Monti Kennedy for a 98 minute deep tissue. It.Was.Heavenly. I also used the Hammam which is a hot and cold therapy combining a steam room, sauna and cold plunge tub. I also did yoga earlier in the week and that was very good. I went to The Loft for a haircut and soon realized this was going to be much more! The space is amazingly decorated, has great artwork, and is fully exposed to the sun so it's bright and warm. Everyone was wonderful, just as was the coffee I enjoyed when I arrived. I immediately wished I shown up a half hour early just to soak up the ambiance, but they were right on schedule. The haircut included a scalp and a hand massage, nothing was rushed and it's a place that you do want to stall out in all day if possible. I was already a regular by the time Laura gave me one of the best cuts of my life. The most impressive thing about The Loft is the bigger picture - the wellness treatments, the option of becoming a member, the wide range of services offered, the quality of all the furnishings and products used. There is a vision that goes far, far beyond just being a spa. I can't recommend it enough, go! read more

Best maternity massage. When visiting Bozeman 5 months pregnant in the winter I was looking for a way to kill some time while my friends skied. My husband made me an appointment here for a 90 min maternity massage and it was absolute bliss. The Loft is primarily a hair salon so the overall "spa experience" is lacking, no steam rooms, hot tubs, ect, but the service and price makes up for the missing amenities. The massage chairs are incredibly comfortable and the ambiance in the room is very inviting. The music, oil scents, and professionalism of the masseuse are all top quality. The massage therapist really set the bar high for all other massages to follow, I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently. read more
