We went in when the restaurant wasn't busy, but was active enough. It took a couple of minutes for the 5 or so people standing around to finish their conversation and come greet us. The sushi was warm, which was concerning since it had raw fish. The menu had ramen listed, but the waiter said they do not actually serve it. We ordered $32 worth of food for each person and it was difficult to get down. The steak was over cooked and almost impossible to chew (lots of fat) but cool to the touch, the rice was like soup, and nothing had any flavor. Part of our order was missing when the waiter originally brought our food. We finally got some of the missing items, but left without ever receiving some side dishes we had ordered. We asked an employee a question and they turned away and walked off without saying a word. Once it was time to pay, our card was misplaced and we had to wait about 10 minutes for the waiter to find it and bring it back to us. The restaurant itself was decorated tastefully, but it was difficult to hear each other speak through the sound of dishes being thrown around. This does explain why all of our dishes in this new restaurant had large chunks missing. Overall, it was disappointing and we spent the rest of the day going to the restroom after eating here. We had heard all negative reviews from friends and family but went anyway thinking they were too critical. They were right on this one. read more
