We DoorDashed from here tonight and tried several dishes: pan-fried pork dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, crystal shrimp dumplings, fried combo rice, and wonton katsu. The dumplings and katsu? Fantastic. Seriously, worth ordering again. The fried rice? Yikes. Zero flavor, no seasoning, just... bland. Honestly one of the worst fried rices I've ever had from a restaurant (1/5). So here's the deal: skip the rice dishes. Stick to dumplings or soup and you'll have a much better experience. read more

Absolutely love this place and the staff! It is a little smaller so does get packed easily quick makes sense cause their food and service is so great. Had their rolls and ramen and appetizers before and haven't had one complaint. Also always get a regular milk tea boba to go and that is the best. Also love the aesthetics makes me feel like I'm back in the 90s and 2000s. Have no complaints and everyone should come but just not when there so it's not crowded haha but really everyone needs to go and support and try this place! read more

Fun Noodle Bar is a hidden gem in Weatherford. The inside is on the smaller side which makes for an overall cozy and authentic experience. Through the window, you can see the cooks rolling and working the dough which even adds more to the experience and quality. The food is top notch! The spicy dumplings are a must! The ramen bowls and sushi are excellent! I highly recommend! read more

Fell in love with this ramen place. So glad to have this delicious legit option near my work. Varies menu with an option for everyone. Casual and cozy vibes. My homemade noodles with beef hot the spot. My friends sushi option were delicious. Couldn't pass up the mango and green tea mochi dessert. My friend enjoyed her dairy free Boba tea option. I adore this little place. The food is in my opinion the best Asian spot in west of Fort Worth. Handmade noodles are so good. Awesome sushi at great prices. Tucked away in a strip center we had low expectations. Hubs was excited when they brought over warmed peanuts. Being a Pho fan he ordered their noodle soup. It looked and tasted wonderful. We also had sushi and edamame that was good as well. The service was great and we were checked on regularly. Felt like we were sitting in a kids place, 3 large screen TVs with a Japanese cartoon playing on one, Sponge Bob and the Flintstones playing on the others. Got the spicy edamame, Fire Roll and Lobster Roll...all were fair at best, tasteless and no real spice or fire. There is no salad and only serve miso soup. My daughter went to law school in Lubbock, Texas. Every time we visit her we would go to the fun noodle bar. The food was amazing. I was so excited to find out that there was a fun noodle bar in Weatherford, Texas. My husband and I have been there twice. My husband had chicken Ramen and I had pet Thai noodle for the second time. We were extremely disappointed in this location. My pet high was in like a gravy my husband's chicken Ramen was so bland, but not even four scoops of chili oil could bring flavor to the fish sorry to say this has been a bust twice. read more

The food was AMAZING! Everything we ordered was hot and fresh and worth every penny. The prices are a little high but the quality and quantity matches. Finally tried this place. We had fried wontons, 3 special sushi rolls, and dumplings. Loved all of it!! Our waitress could not have been better, she helped us on selections and was so sweet and attentive. The bubble tea was amazing too! So the food is presented beautifully, but there is something about the taste I just can't figure out. For me way too sweet. Everything marked spicy is not spicy a bit, but everything is a bit oily (greasy) that I felt like I needed to constantly clean my face. It is definitely a fusion, but definitely not authentic to any culture specifically. Dumplings undercooked (too firm) the wonton soup no flavor at all - I have had my share of authentic Pho and this is an American version of dishes that could come across more authentic. The Sesame Chicken so sweet if you are diabetic please only eat 3 bites - let's not mention the fried rice I think they were serving a very young child with the amount that was provided. But this is a chain, so you should expect close to but not authentic food. Again, food was good - but nothing exceptional or over the top - missing lots of flavors from the country(s) they should derive from. We will try it again and update this review - Wrap up - we tried: Sesame Chicken, Spicy Cucumbers, Spicy Wontons (very greasy not spicy), Spicy Pork Dumplings (very greasy not spicy), Wonton Noodle Soup (missing so much flavor), Crab Rangoon (99% cream cheese) Jalapeño Bombs (very not so ok - or spicy and way too much cream cheese) Like I stated above we will try this place again - and hope for a more authentic experience read more

I will never go out to eat again at a buffet. This place has the best noodles and soup OMGosh! My favorite is the beef broth over noodles and veggies, with a side of Bao or pot stickers. I haven't tried everything yet but that is on my list! This one is in Weatherford, TX. Wished one was in Granbury, TX. You have got to try this place out. You will LOVE this place. read more

Little Japanese/Asian cuisine gem in Weatherford. My top three foods are 1) Balkan 2) Asian 3) Criolla. I'm so happy I found this Asian fusion restaurant. Had the traditional ramen but the spicy version. It wasn't even kind of spicy it was delicious though. Noodles definitely thicker than I prefer but my brother and his gf who joined me are military and said that it was 100% authentic and the size they were traditionally. It is cool watching them pull noodles through the glass. Calamari is in sticks. I prefer rings but it was perfectly crunchy. Plan to meet a friend soon to explore more of the menu read more

Weatherford has always had more Asian choices than one may expect... unfortunately that does not mean they were GOOD choices. I'm glad to see that with the addition of Fun Noodle Bar and Bobacane that this is changing! I have eaten at and reviewed both the Abilene and Lubbock Fun locations and was impressed at each. I was so excited when I saw that we might be getting one here in town. After a year of waiting, and at one time being told the project had been scrapped, I was surprised and delighted when the Weatherford location finally opened. (Weatherford is a quiet town... it doesn't take much to get us excited) I went on opening day, and have been at least five times in the month since they opened. The food is incredible. The dumplings and ramen are far superior to anything else in Parker County, and on par with anything I have had in the Metroplex. I have not had much of the sushi, but looks good. The only dish I would not recommend is the beef Choishu Noodles, which were too salty. The service is fast and attentive. Even when they have been busy, I've never had to wait for a table. The staff is knowledgeable and seems to be having a good time working, while sincerely trying to provide a good customer experience. The atmosphere is a little hectic and noisy, but I like the decor and the window into the kitchen where you can watch the staff hand pulling and tossing the noodles. If you haven't tried this place yet, just do yourself a favor and go... read more

You know it's a good ramen place when the staff are wearing T-shirts with Naruto eating ramen. The noodles are freshly hand pulled. They have a good chew and springy-ness to them. I had the Tonkotsu ramen with chasu pork. It was good but I had hope for more umami pork flavor. My mom had their wonton noodle soup. She liked the broth and noodles but said the wontons were gummy. We also got a pot stickers and beef baos. The beef baos were our favorite. The staff were nice and checked on us often. The restaurant had plenty of seating. Everyone seems to enjoy their food. The food is delicious. We absolutely loved the ambiance. We got to watch one of the chef hand stretch the noodles in the window of the kitchen which was really cool. Our service was outstanding too. We haven't stopped thinking about this ramen and can't wait to go back! We had driven by a few times and finally made time to go with the family. I can't recommend this enough, the broth was so flavorful, the noodles were fresh and delicious, honestly the best ramen I've had in a while! But the day I went, there was less than 10 tables and the ladies with the carts were eyeing our table every few seconds. This might sound nice but then I got too nervous to look around anymore. I just like to take in my environment while I'm eating. The food quality was sub par. Everything was dry, tough, almost stale. The dim sum was left in the carts longer than most people would like. The taste of each dish was decent though. The texture of each dim sum dish really turned me off so that alone would not have me returning back.
