My pad Thai wasn't the normal pad Thai noodles I am Used to but it was still tasty just A bit sticky noodles and a bit hard to work with compared to fresh silky pad Thai noodles I usually have ! First visit. I was highly impressed with the food and flavors. Mostly excited bc I haven't found but average or below average food in Stephenville. This place is definitely one of the best places to eat. Wish it wasn't a strip mall set up, not much ambiance but it's working w what it's got. Small place. Looking forward to trying other dishes. Love Thai food and this cute place did not disappoint! The service was some of the friendliest, fastest, and observant I've experienced in a long time! One of us got the Hibachi steak with fried rice and I ordered the Thai drunken noodles with chicken. Tried both, ticked all the boxes including authentic American-Thai flavor, huge portions, and the right amount of spice. I love that they keep straws and chopsticks next to the condiments on the table... Asian food tastes better with chopsticks and diet Dr Pepper tastes better through a boba tea straw... trust me! We also got ragoons as a side and they were fresh and delicious with a great sweet and sour sauce. I can't say enough good things about Pattaya and we're already looking for an excuse to go back! read more

Walking into Pattaya Thai Kitchen surrounded us with aromatics that made our mouths water. We were promptly seated and provided with our drinks by friendly staff members. We ordered Massaman Curry with beef, Chicken Katsu Ramen Soup, and Pad Thai with tofu. The food was brought quickly - piping hot. The Massaman Curry was well seasoned and the vegetables & peanuts were perfectly cooked - not mushy and not raw. The Pad Thai was delightful and I devoured it. Sadly, the Chicken Katsu Ramen soup that was to be beef flavored came with sliced pork in it and the broth was not a beef broth. This ruined our son's meal as we do not eat pork for religious and health reasons. read more

Wow we had seen this place but didn't try it until today. We ordered the lunch special with three sushi rolls. They were really good. We usually go to the other sushi spot in town but found this one to be just as good with a better deal for lunch, the service is great and the spicy soup to start was delicious. Glad we came in! read more

They have rebranded to Pattaya and it was soo delicious!!! I didn't even think to take pictures but trust me, it was amazing. I had the yellow curry and it was amazing, my grandma got the pad see ew and it was also delicious. Our server was so nice and helped explain the spice levels to my grandma as it was her first time having Thai! So good will be coming back next time I'm in the area. read more

Great Place!!! I got the drunken noodle, with extra veggies instead of protein. Delicious dish, cooked well, slightly less of a sweet sauce in comparison to other drunken noodle. Large serving which I finished in one slow sitting, as it was my first meal of the day at 5 pm. Got a Thai iced boba tea which was one of the best Thai teas i've ever had, not too strong and instead creamy and balanced. Waiter was pretty attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. The only thing I noticed is that they offered to refill another tables complimentary onion soup, but never offered to refill mine, even after I was done and very clearly sat it at the edge of my table ready for a refill. Hence, my removal of one star. No check ins at my table for that, so I waited patiently until my dish was brought instead. Also, no peanut sauce for the spring rolls, which I had read there was off what I assume is now an old menu online. So I decided not to order them. But no peanut sauce in the whole building? it's Thai food!!! Now that's Crazy. Quaint little place. Booth seats were NOT busted open as far as I could tell, which is always a plus. Comfortable environment, great dish. I got out of there with a $25 - $29 bill after tip, although I can't remember exactly. Would have liked an extra cup of onion soup, and for peanut sauce to be available on the menu for spring rolls. Nonetheless, excited to go back! read more

They really are giving it 100%. A Chinese man bought this restaurant and moved here from California. He was unfamiliar with the area, but he knows how to cook well and treat customers. This is a nice alternative to your typical Stephenville home cooked Texas supper. Something different, with Asian spices and a rather interesting menu. I have the yellow curry with Seafood, and was knocked out with the great flavor, the tremendous amount of seafood in the broth, and there was enough left over for another meal back at home. We strongly recommend the Asian potstickers,too! read more

We give a 5 star for the food. My wife and I have been here 3 times. My wife has had the druken noodles with chicken and I've had the mixed vegetables with beef and the side order of fried rice. The portions are quit large. We've also had the fried icecream which was absolutely delicious. The entres we've had, have always been the same, only because we enjoy them so much. When we get our fill of the same items, we'll venture into the other items on the menu. We give a 5 star for the owner. The owner is very friendly and is the person who cooked our food. He may be the person who does all the cooking. He definitely knows what he's doing. The proof is in the taste of the food. We give a 3 star for service. The times that we've been there, there's only been one person waiting on the customers but they've all been great. The owner has been having a little difficultily finding people who will work. I had a chance to talk to one waitress and they were quite happy with the owner and some of the perks he was giving them, like cooking them meals to take home for the evening. So, if you know someone who is willing to be a part of helping with the growth of this great restaurant, drop in and talk to William, he's the owner. We give a 5 star for cleanliness. The restaurant is very clean, with a nice decor and plenty of seating. We've been there both, on the weekend and also on a weekday and didn't have to wait to be seated but that was probably due to being such a new restaurant. Came in town for work and decided to try this place for lunch. Unfortunately this place is definitely not a winner. I ordered a tom yum soup with only 4 shrimp inside and small handful of mushrooms and barley half filled. I also ordered some chicken satay that was so burn and dry which reminded me of more like jerky. read more

I'm in love with this restaurant. I love a good pad thai and it's nice to have the diversity that this restaurant brings to Stephenville, and most things here are southern comfort or tex-mex. Plus they have tofu available! It's a real win as a vegetarian in a meat heavy town. When I went there was only one man. He was the host, the chef, and the cook. But he still took care of three tables. Still, it was hard to watch and I felt bad for him, he seemed very stressed and understandably so. But I 100% plan on going back. The fried tofu was great, the pad thai flavors were there, and the fried rice was great. Plus, the man was very kind and attentive. 10/10. read more

Massaman Curry- very strange ingredient looked like pre-fried frozen potatoes NOT fresh potatoes the curry flavor was accurate. Teriyaki beef: good beef in over sauced gravy. Drunken Noodle: noodles all chopped up and should be whole, over-sauced over salty, buy good vegetables, hardly edible. I have this one star yesterday but several friends love this place. This is honestly the worst Thai Cuisine I have ever had!!! Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the heartwarming embrace of no one! The atmosphere of this restaurant is abysmal, but they are very understaffed from the looks of it. I would highly recommend NOT dining in. I personally ordered the Red Curry with a spice level of 3 + Chicken and Vegetables; Unfortunately what I revived was a soupy mess that had some red chili flakes sprinkled on top. The chicken tasted and looked rubbery + was 100% microwave (with a hint aftertaste of being a week old if not more). The curry was oily, greasy, and even seemed watery! Absolutely disgusting. Not only do you get the soup, but it's also served with some of the most overcooked and ill-prepared fried rice you could possibly think of. You would think there was a child in the back making the food!! I would 100% recommend not coming here and just treating yourself to somewhere better around the restaurant. My party and I are never coming back, worst. $20. ever. read more
