I love that you can work with them to come up with your own dye color for your yarn and can pick from a variety of wool types! I ended up purchasing 3 skeins of baby camel + silk yarn that wasn't dyed because the natural color was so gorgeous! The skeins they have for sale that are already dyed range from low 20s to low 40s, so it is more artisan pricing. So I would recommend going early to get a table. They have a TON of pottery pieces to choose from including plates, vases, seasonal decorations, piggy banks, spoon rests, I mean you name it & they have it. I chose a Christmas plate for my son to put cookies on for Santa. You choose your own paint and have the freedom to kind of do what you want. They also have paint pens for more accurate drawing or writing words, you just have to ask up front. FYI - it takes up to 30 days to get your pottery back from the oven which I thought was quite a long time. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I saw brands that i know and love and an eclectic bunch of accessories and "chotchkies" that make the store stand out from everyone else! The owners are brilliant with their buying and merchandising expertise and I'm now in love! The store fits in perfectly with the Blakeney vibe and demographic and I hope they grow and prosper for many years to come. I purchased a very expensive painting from them and l still haven't received it due to their inexperience! Firstly, their very young employee Emma took it upon herself to send the painting via UPS Saturday delivery! She never once asked me if this was okay and the shipping fees were absolutely astronomical! I use a business address for shipping and Saturday delivery isn't even possible! ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE CUSTOMER FIRST BEFORE MAKING SUCH BIG DECISIONS! I requested a refund for the shipping charges, but Emma refused! Young Emma kept promising me that she had followed up with UPS to reschedule delivery, but sadly, l had to keep following up with her as she never followed up with me directly! I kept tracking the package and there were even more hiccups! The package was never placed on the delivery truck for the supposed rescheduled delivery of yesterday. Today l wait and wait, At 4:37 p.m. l tracked the package again only to find that the wrong address is on the shipping label! Where is my painting? I will never know and will file a dispute with my cc company. Just a warning to please avoid SOCO at all costs for anything of value!

Every size, shape, color, and type you want, they have. The coolest part is that they are affordable. You can go in and spend 10 dollars or you can go and spend 500 dollars, depending on what you want. Studio time costs just five dollars. There you can sit and design jewelry with help from the owner and then they will finish it off for you. Or, if you want to learn how to do EVERYTHING, they offer classes. For just 15 bucks you can sit in and learn how to do it yourself, saving yourself time and money in the future. Another cool thing is that they repair old broken costume jewelry, or help you redesign old heirlooms that may not be your taste anymore. It's relaxing, fun, and a great skill to learn. They offer private parties and the option to bring in girlfriends with snacks and drinks and have a whole night of fun.
