This is after I received an email it was ready. I drove the 45 minutes to pick it up, so wasted trip. I asked if they could ship it for free after not having item ready and being defective. They said No and it would cost me 18.00 , I had already paid over 100 to create item. I will say when I had to go back they gave the one we did and a new one they created. But after the lack of consumer service after an issue I would not go back.

We paid $25 for two bracelets and were able to fully DIY on our own with help from the instructor. You can pick from two different size bands (thin or thick), colors (gold or silver) and there are letters, numbers and other symbols you can use to customize your bracelets. The studio is spacious and they offer many other DIY workshops (candle making, woodworking, etc.). Great idea for a night out with friends or to celebrate a birthday, graduation or another special event.

Your experience starts with signing up online and selecting what project and personalization you want. There are so many options, it can be overwhelming from art frames, lazy Susan's, hand knit blankets, stamped jewelry, planter boxes and more. You arrive with your work station prepared with an apron, your project and templates you need. The staff go over the first few steps in the process in picking your paint colors and stains. Then the staff bring you the paints you need and guide you through the process. The space is BYOB, they have a ton of examples of projects throughout the space and great music to inspire you. Pro tip- Park behind the building AR workshop also has a store with jewelry and decor and bath bombs for purchase. It's a gem! It has a parking lot - I really appreciate when I don't have to struggle with where to park. It's in a hip building that has cool graffiti-style art on the hallway walls. Once inside, Board & Brush is beautifully set up with examples all over the walls- that was helpful for us to see different color combinations for inspiration. The owner, Buffy, and her assistant, Lisa, were there to welcome and instruct our group of 6 gals - and they did it all with smiles and good cheer! Board & Brush offered 800+ projects to choose from so 2 of our ladies did the same thing and the rest of us chose different projects. There were also 2 other customers that came together separate from our group and they also had two unique projects. Buffy and Lisa walked all 8 of us through everything, every step of the way. We first distressed our wood with a variety of tools, then we stained it, put on stencils and painted, and then waxed our pieces. Let me tell you, they have amazing choices and we were all so pleased with our projects They ranged from charcuterie boards to centerpiece boxes to signs to wall hangings - all very high end looking! We were allowed to bring food so we set up our appetizers on a different table and enjoyed a perfect night of crafting, grazing on apps and spending time talking and laughing. I loved it! I purchased a very expensive painting from them and l still haven't received it due to their inexperience! Firstly, their very young employee Emma took it upon herself to send the painting via UPS Saturday delivery! She never once asked me if this was okay and the shipping fees were absolutely astronomical! I use a business address for shipping and Saturday delivery isn't even possible! ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE CUSTOMER FIRST BEFORE MAKING SUCH BIG DECISIONS! I requested a refund for the shipping charges, but Emma refused! Young Emma kept promising me that she had followed up with UPS to reschedule delivery, but sadly, l had to keep following up with her as she never followed up with me directly! I kept tracking the package and there were even more hiccups! The package was never placed on the delivery truck for the supposed rescheduled delivery of yesterday. Today l wait and wait, At 4:37 p.m. l tracked the package again only to find that the wrong address is on the shipping label! Where is my painting? I will never know and will file a dispute with my cc company. Just a warning to please avoid SOCO at all costs for anything of value!
