Amazing *local business* shoutout alert for my Charlotte crew! #supportlocal
Y'all....tomorrow calls for rain ...lots of rain ...along with the rest of the week! If you need a super fun rainy-day activity for tomorrow...attend "Toddler Tuesday" @ DISH IT OUT POTTERY STUDIO (located in super convenient Stonecrest by the Target!)
A few weeks ago when it was POURING rain, my daughter (almost age 4) and I attended "Toddler Tuesday" to make Valentine's Day gifts for my daughter's Godmother (my SIL) + grandma (my mom)! We had an absolute blast!!!! I needed to get out of the house on this rainy day, and my toddler needed to burn some creative energy before errands! It was sooo much fun, only takes an hour (but you can stay longer like we did as it was so much fun), AND we left knowing we had created two awesome personalized gifts for family!
The owner is so kind and amazing and I promised I would give a shout-out for her. :) I have limited creative bones (I'm an Amazon prime type-mom ;) and she + her amazing staff helped us so much to make perfect Pinterest-type gifts! Their new event "Toddler Tuesday" is so fun and their were kids of all ages there!! Can y'all do me a favor and help to support this awesome local business?
This is a bit selfish on my end haha, but the BEST PART was absolutely 0 cleanup!!! Worth it's weight in gold! My daughter demanded to use literally every paintbrush and 10,000 colors! After our projects were complete, my kiddo's apron (which they provide for free to borrow!) was covered in paint & our table was an explosion of colors . I was almost too embarrassed to post the pic here of the aftermath. I started cleaning up and the owner stopped me, and said she and her (amazing) employees would take care of it. I was still too embarrassed and resumed cleaning up (that's my personality LOL); the owner kindly asked me AGAIN to stop cleaning & explained they actually prefer to clean themselves as they properly wipe down the brushes etc. Basically, I was told to STOP CLEANING up after my kid!! =) Woo hoo!!! I handed over her messy apron, they helped me clean her hands in their wonderful huge sink (with soaps and everything), and away we walked to Target and to continue our fun rainy-day! No cleanup, no fuss, no mess at my house, AND my SIL + MOM also benefited from the two cutest gifts ever :)
Thanks so much @DishItOutPotteryPaintingStudio and @MOMCLT for one of the best dates my kiddo and I have had in a long time!! And...tomorrow is Tuesday which means it is "Toddler Tuesday"!! Walk-in and kids of all ages are great! They had babies there, young toddlers, grandparents helping, and older toddlers like mine!

(As a head's up, I got to attend this event for free with my kiddo and try out Toddler Tuesday. But, I was planning on giving a shoutout of this local business regardless that it was comp'ed as we had a blast!! But the legal dept says I have to include this phrase too : I was compensated for my post via free pottery , all opinions are 100% my own, & were not influenced by Dish It Out Pottery Painting Studio or MOMCLT in any way. #sponsored) read more
