The store had it over abundance of Christmas decorations out already, which was sucky because it's August. I came to look for decor for my house. There is no furniture at this location other than a few boxes of furniture that needs to be assembled. There were a lot of employees in the building working and restocking and there's plenty of parking outside. I gave this a three star because I have been to other locations which appeared to have a lot more product.

They have all different types of arts and craft products, sewing items, yarn, paints, craft kits, candle items, colored pens/pencils and anything that you might need for your crafting needs. There was even a good selection of seasonal decorative items, right now being Fall themed. We grabbed some of the Fall decorations to put outside in our front yard plus I saw a word puzzle book that looked pretty good so I got that as well. The prices and selection here were not bad at all. There were plenty of clerks scattered about the store looking to help customers find what they were looking for. I found it to be a very fun store to shop.

Our four-year-old son was so excited to attend, but unfortunately, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, we couldn't find the class, so we approached an employee for assistance. She looked at her coworker and said, "Um, here's another person asking about the ghost class." Her coworker visibly sighed, appeared frustrated, and abruptly responded, "We're not doing this here!" before going right back to scanning items and completely dismissing us. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to offer an alternative or help us figure out what happened. Meanwhile, our four-year-old son was standing there, visibly disappointed, looking at us as if to ask, "What do we do now?" I completely understand that things happen. Classes get canceled, scheduling mistakes occur, and miscommunication is inevitable. However, what I cannot understand is the complete lack of customer service, professionalism, and basic courtesy. We had a confirmed reservation, took time out of our day to bring our excited child, and were treated as though we were inconveniencing the employees simply by asking about an event Michael's had advertised. Ultimately, we purchased the craft supplies ourselves and went home to do the activity with our son, without any assistance or effort from the store to make things right. The canceled class wasn't the biggest disappointment. It was the way we were treated. A simple apology, an explanation, or even a little kindness toward a disappointed child would have gone a long way. For a store that promotes creativity and family-friendly activities, this experience was incredibly disappointing.
