Good salesmanship is good salesmanship. Plain and simple…read more I needed a new carry on. I decided on Vera Bradley because I love the prints and the different styles and price range. The woman that helped me was amazingly helpful. I told her what I needed and she gave me her suggestions and the prices. She knew what I needed after we discussed that so that was super helpful. I ended up buying a weekender bag and a matching crossbody satchel thing to go with it. I ended up saving 25% on the satchel and got a locket bracelet for spending more than $100. Yay me!! Thanks Vera Bradley for my new pieces! I'm very happy and can't wait to use them :)

With the new Vera open in the Pru, there is no way in hell I will ever be back to this store. With…read morethe merchandise the same across both stores, this entire rating comes down to customer experience. My mom, sister, and I popped in yesterday to use a birthday coupon I had received. I am the type of shopper who prefers to be left in peace to browse and then solicit help if I need it. We were accosted by every sales associate in the store (one multiple times), asking if we needed help, if we were looking for anything specific, if we were shopping for ourselves or for a gift, and multiple other variations of these questions. I can understand being asked once; but by multiple salespeople in a store that's not that big and wasn't that busy? Total overkill. It gets better however. I had picked out a purse and was looking for a wallet to go with it, had three or so that I was deliberating between with my mother. As we were conversing amongst ourselves, another saleswoman interrupted our conversation to try and upsell me on a massive pocketbook that I of course, NEEDED the lanyard to go with. I'm sorry, but if I'm spending 100 bucks at a pop on bags, I don't need the hard sell. It was obvious that customer experience didn't mean anything to the staff working Sunday 6/5, only the potential of making a sale, even if you harass your customers to do it. Sorry, I'll stick to the store at the Pru from now on.
