ACADIA / Turkey Apple Roasted turkey breast, a layer of Brie, fresh greens, Granny Smith apple slices and crispy bacon. (On focaccia) 10.99

This review is based solely off of this one order. I will do another review on their pizza in the future. (Personally, I think their pizza is the way to go!) I got super excited when I saw this sandwich. Look at the size of it! Unfortunately, once I started eating it, I was less of a fan. It has some serious potential, but a few tweaks are needed. The first suggestion should be easily identified; the bread to filling ratio is off. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious but they are lost in the sea of focaccia. Maybe I made the wrong bread choice? Second, it needs some sort of dressing to complete it. The mouthful of bread and melted cheese was almost a choking hazard. The pickle was awesome and the chips were a nice pairing. The order was done at the time they told me it would be and I was in and out quickly. The parking lot could use more room. It wasn't the easiest to maneuver a van around in it. It seemed made more for compact cars, but I made due.

can't believe how bad this was barely any cheese, and was burt on top and the rest was chips. Very disappointed and felt very ripped off.

Bar seating

So apparently there are $3 brunch Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. It's too bad our server never told us that upon seating us on a Sunday afternoon. It's a bummer to hear that from the bartender after your eaten and paid a pretty penny for mediocre food and super expensive local beer ($7.00 a glass!) Our server was nice, but clueless. On Sunday brunch day, servers should know EXACTLY what they are offering, what the specials are, and be ready to push them. My chicken tenders were burnt and my fries were tasteless. My partner's salad was the best thing on the table. Will I go back to this location unless I absolutely have to meet people there, No. Would I order to-go pizza, maybe, even though there are barely any pick up parking spots and they almost always undercut the time so you are waiting an extra 30 mins.

Side salad that does not suck

We've been in here A LOT since we moved to the area a month ago. It's walkable from our house, so it's super convenient. We've had a lot of really great meals here - except for last Sunday (5/6). I meant to call the manager the next day, but forgot, so that's my bad for not mentioning it sooner. The service was AWFUL. We ordered drinks and a slice. The slices (which are in the case, folks... shouldn't have to wait more than 5 mins for you to pull them out...) came out before the drinks (Wha???) and that took over 15 minutes. There were 2 or 3 other couples there who had the same experience. So, that's over and done with and I can get on with reviewing my other meals there... great pizza! The side salads are the best side salad ever. It's chock full of real veggies, not just your average wet lettuce and a single cucumber slice... none of that rubbish... it's got broccoli, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, loads of tomato and cucumber. Sarnies are meh. Leave the brisket in the kitchen (the server admitted that they don't have the right equipment to make it great -- so... if it ain't great, don't make it). They do make great pizza, but only get a slice if it's freshly cooked. The manager is spot on when it comes to making things right. We had a minor issue one night with an order and she made it right straight away.

So, I placed an order online on a Friday night, which I received my confirmation for at 7:42pm to be delivered at 9pm tonight. Tonight is 10/19. 9:30 rolls around - nothing, I call. "It should be there in 15 minutes. Call if it doesn't show up." Calls at 9:45 "Yeah, the delivery girl is en-route. Should be aaaaaany minute." 10pm: "Yes i would like a full refund as my delivery is an hour late." "Sure, let me help you with that." *hangs up the phone* *calls back* "Yeah so I was just hung up on." "No.... I put you on mute." "No, definitely hung up on." Long story short, this was blamed on their online ordering system putting my pizza in for tomorrow. What is the point of getting buzzed and high and ordering takeout if it never arrives?!

Half pepperoni. Half buffalo chicken.

Consistently great pizza (Moosehead, Monhegan...love the garlic dough!), calzones and salads via delivery. Super friendly drivers, too.

We ordered the Moosehead half and half with the Monhegan in a 14" thin garlic crust and ended up with a large.

Had no idea all three were located here, pleasant surprise. I enjoy Allagash white so we decided to stop in. The campus is a good size with gigantic tanks no doubt filled with liquid gold! Outdoor seating area with fire pits for warmer weather enjoyment. Entrance had a woodsy feel to it with signage that was clear to read. In the courtyard you choose which way to go; right heads into the outside beer garden and left brings you inside the brewery and gift shop. Beer garden for us. Seeing that it was covered by a tent thought for sure it was going to be cold inside , we were pleasantly surprised! Decor was paper chains and tissue paper hearts for Valentine's season. They had a creative station for folks to make their own Valentines. Also in the same area was a game bookshelf filled with board and card games to play. At the bar was a young man smiling as he welcomed us. We read the menu and for something different I chose "Cabin Weekend" the name reminded me of our camp in the Western mountains. We both enjoy whiskey so thought the aged barrels used for this brew would make a tasty treat. Grabbed our beers and then over to the food truck attached to the tent, clever. Bite into Maine is the food truck here today, unsure if different trucks come here or not. We wanted something small and shareable. Mac and cheese it was. We sat down at one of the many empty tables and began to enjoy our beers and food. Cabin weekend was so delicious! It was a strong onto 8.9%! Tasty with the faintest hint of whiskey and a cabin feel for the finish. The Mac and cheese was dense and rich!! The fork could practically stand upon its own! It was good in my opinion however don't think I could have finished the portion in my own. We enjoyed so much we will be back for some to bring away with us to our cabin in the woods.

It doesn't matter what I order off of their menu, it never disappoints. This time around I tried the buffalo chicken dip as a starter. There was a good ratio of chips to dip and it brought a little more heat then the traditional sauce. For my meal, I got the chicken BLT wrap. This had some of their famous tenders inside. You got to pick if you wanted them coated and in what. This really hit the spot. If you know anything about their tenders, it's that you only need a couple to fill you up. They don't skimp on the size! Smoked makes the only cornbread muffin that I will even think about eating, so of course I had to get one of those too. If it wasn't weird to eat the accompanying butter by the spoonful, I would. The sweet cinnamon blend is amazing! Food wise, Smoked is a 5 star all day. I gave it a four this time around because the waitress completely forgot to put one of my friend's orders in. Besides the bartender, it seemed she was the only one on the floor. I'm sure she had a lot on her mind and it was purely a mistake, but still worth noting.

Located on Forest Avenue well north of downtown, it's a sports bar with a long bar, several TVs, impressive sports beer signage, and a barbecue-and-wings-heavy menu that has something for everyone. A parking lot is another nice plus. I went with a half dozen wings, smoked and fried-- you can also get them breaded and fried-- with Buffalo sauce. Fairly close to the classic tangy Buffalo, with some modifications to make it just different enough. A little salty, but it works. Exteriors more firm than crispy. Interiors ranged from slightly moist to full-on juicy, depending on the piece. Blue cheese was mild and creamy. No chunks. Overall, good.

I've not had a good chicken piccata in a while nor have I had someone else cook chicken parmigiana for me. Italian for sure. We drove over and found a great spot up front. After entering you can choose between a more casual atmosphere in the lounge, or a classy more formal experience in the main dining room. Lounge for us! Plenty of seating on this Tuesday evening so we sat down and with in moments the bartender greeted us and handed us the drink menu as well as two dinner menus. Warm and inviting lighting but enough to be able to read the menu, the bartender greeted us felt comfortable and homey. People eating at the tables, circular booths in the back for more intimate dining and another added dining area. I ordered the Bellini with peach puree, very good light and refreshing, son had their espresso martini, looked light as well, with a foam top, yum! Dinner was Chicken piccata with rigatoni. Lemon flavor was great, not too over powering and the amount of capers balanced the flavors nicely. Son had the Mussels and Shrimp Fra Diavolo with a spinach fettuccini. Sadly they had run out of mussels so they offered to double the shrimp. Both were delicious. Bartender offered bread when our meal arrived, should have really come before our meal, not with, I was happy to have some. Mangia!! My son had a lovely conversation with another patron and soon the whole side of the bar was conversing. Dessert taken home and kindly gratuitously given for my birthday. Thank you! It was very nice to hear my guys sing happy birthday to me.
