Kylie showed me around the space and was so sweet and personable. I really just wanted a relaxing experience and she made sure that's what I got. The solo sauna was perfect! You get your own space for the scheduled time. You can customize the light color, increase the temp if preferred (though I found the default temp comfortable), and use the iPad they provide to watch or listen to something. I had spa / nature music on and the speakers were positioned well to create the most immersive ambiance. I left feeling so relaxed. The whole space was super clean! They've got showers, different light therapies, and even a social sauna. I definitely recommend this spot for anyone curious about infrared sauna!

I met so many interesting people here and it can be really fun. It is also pretty inclusive and I met a wide range of people from different ages and backgrounds. The hot sauna is also really nice and relaxing. Some of the cons are the availability. This place can get very packed and the slots book up super fast. It can be frustrating because there were times when it felt impossible to get in since everything was fully reserved a week in advance. Considering it is almost forty bucks a month it is reasonable, but if you can only make certain times that never line up, you end up feeling like why do I even have this membership. Another issue is the cleanliness of the ice tubs. I noticed many times that the tubs looked a bit dirty on the inside. When I say dirty, I mean kind of gross, maybe even unhygienic. At the beginning of every month they do a full deep clean, which I really appreciate, and right after that the tubs look pretty good. But as the weeks go on they get dirtier, probably because of the heavy traffic. This bothered me because when I go in for a cold plunge and see skin flakes, hair, or random stuff floating in the water, it makes the experience unpleasant. I also got some acne on my back during the time I was going here, especially when I was doing the cold plunge often. Now that I have not gone for a couple months the acne has fully disappeared. I am sure they have a chlorine and cleaning system, but I think the tubs need to be cleaned more often. The cold plunge setup itself is cool though and I did enjoy using it as far as the temperature experience goes. They have three main saunas inside the building. One is the quiet sauna, but it does not stay that quiet since it is between the two louder saunas. I wish they had a better way of keeping it quiet. The other two are a smaller sauna facing the tubs and a large one in the back. All of them get pretty hot which I really appreciate and they smell really good. I am not sure if it is essential oils or something else, but the scent is relaxing. They have a changing room, a bathroom, and lockers for your stuff. The service is OK. Some of the employees seemed like they did not want to be working, at least during my visits, while others were super nice and outgoing. It seems like it depends on the day, but you do not interact with the staff that much anyway so it is not a huge factor. They charge you if you want to use one of their towels, but I recommend bringing your own. They have quick showers to rinse off, and I almost wish people used them more considering you are going from a hot sauna straight into the ice bath. Sometimes it feels like people just jump between everything without rinsing, which is kind of gross. I am not sure how they can fix this without staff stepping in. I recommend trying Embrace North for at least a month. If it is not for you, it is forty bucks and you probably will still get some good use out of it.

Sauna is a centuries-old Finnish tradition rooted in respect, community, and restoration--not a gimmick. Even more disturbing is the owner's refusal to directly address questions about Nazi insignia. If you are comfortable profiting from another culture while dodging something this serious, you have no business claiming to represent what sauna culture stands for. The worker was very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. The facility was clean. The session was intimate and personal. I liked the fact you could watch tv, Netflix and other programs while in the sauna. The shower addition was nice as well and I felt I relieved after the session. There were two saunas to choose from, and we went back and forth to both several times. Each sauna has a water dipper and a selection of oils, as well. The hardest park was walking down to the lake with out falling down to get the bucket of freezing lake water to pour on ourselves (we didn't plunge because the lake was frozen, but come back closer to spring and you can just jump in). There was convenient parking, cool water for drinking, and a friendly attendant who kept the fires burning and kept track of your session time. I felt incredibly relaxed after our 75 minute session, and it lasted the rest of the day. Would definitely go back!

It's $35 per person for 90 minutes--which we taught was one of the lower prices we have seen for a sauna session in the twin cities. It was so brilliant!! You can switch between the two cabins, one is a more traditional sauna and the other is more like a greenhouse, and then bop down and lake a dip in Cedar Lake. There is also a cute little seating area with string lights and chairs. It's in the parking lot, so parking was incredibly easy and you're right there so no long walk. They supplies water to drink and essential oils to put on the sauna. There was one person looking out for us the whole time, and she would check on the fires--she was great! Overall, wonderful date night. Would totally do again!

I'll be honest, I used to go to their original location and still bummed they relocated farther away from me. So I no longer buy the monthly pass option (which is SO worth it). The difference between this place and the other one I've been to in Roseville areas is there is something about the water solution here that my body seems to respond better to. The other place made my body feel agitated and stimulated (not what I need!) whereas the water solution her dang near puts me to sleep every time and when I get out, I feel as relaxed as a sleepy baby!
