As a Finnish American, I find the way this business uses sauna culture disrespectful and…read moreembarrassingly superficial. Sauna is a centuries-old Finnish tradition rooted in respect, community, and restoration--not a gimmick. Even more disturbing is the owner's refusal to directly address questions about Nazi insignia. If you are comfortable profiting from another culture while dodging something this serious, you have no business claiming to represent what sauna culture stands for. I would not support this business.

Nice bathroom and changing room, plus shower available. They provide you with a towel. Friendly staff. Learned a bit about the company, from one of the owners I believe, and their parent location in Denver. 3 saunas to choose from with increasing heat levels, electric/infrared and one outdoor wood burning. The cold plunge pool is 45 degrees. I walked across it and out immediately. Nice to cycle through hot and cold. There's an outdoor lounge space to sit in the sun with a book or refresher. We went kayaking afterwards at Bde Maka Ska basically across the street. Next time I'd add in a sushi lunch at Wakame next door.

The temps vary as to be expected but I like that they have varying levels of heat to choose from. I also like that the cold plunge is not below 40 degrees...it's healthier for women to be more around 50 degrees so it's basically in the middle which is perfect. The aesthetics here are gorgeous and calming...love it.

She understood exactly what my problems were and knew exactly where to work me to help reduce my issues. I felt so relaxed and felt like I was getting the treatment that I needed. We joined some friends for this delightful sauna and cold plunge experience!…read moreIt was my first time sauna-ing, not to mention outside in the Minnesota winter, but it was so much fun! There were two saunas to choose from, and we went back and forth to both several times. Each sauna has a water dipper and a selection of oils, as well. The hardest park was walking down to the lake with out falling down to get the bucket of freezing lake water to pour on ourselves (we didn't plunge because the lake was frozen, but come back closer to spring and you can just jump in). There was convenient parking, cool water for drinking, and a friendly attendant who kept the fires burning and kept track of your session time. I felt incredibly relaxed after our 75 minute session, and it lasted the rest of the day. Would definitely go back!

It's $35 per person for 90 minutes--which we taught was one of the lower prices we have seen for a sauna session in the twin cities. It was so brilliant!! You can switch between the two cabins, one is a more traditional sauna and the other is more like a greenhouse, and then bop down and lake a dip in Cedar Lake. There is also a cute little seating area with string lights and chairs. It's in the parking lot, so parking was incredibly easy and you're right there so no long walk. They supplies water to drink and essential oils to put on the sauna. There was one person looking out for us the whole time, and she would check on the fires--she was great! Overall, wonderful date night. Would totally do again!
