The temps vary as to be expected but I like that they have varying levels of heat to choose from. I also like that the cold plunge is not below 40 degrees...it's healthier for women to be more around 50 degrees so it's basically in the middle which is perfect. The aesthetics here are gorgeous and calming...love it.

What better way to reinvigorate yourself than with a nice sauna. I was in town and hanging out with my older son. It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We arrived first thing in the morning. There were already several other people there. After signing the waivers and giving our contact info, we got suited up to go inside the sauna area. The place is well designed, spacious, with some chill music playing. There are three saunas, hot, hotter, and a wood one outdoors. There is also a plunge pool inside. The first thing I noticed is that most people there are outwardly friendly. And you quickly realize that you are now part of the Thermoculture. People are polite, interested in your experience, and eager to help you onboard. When they suggested that a trip through the plunge pool would do me good, I was sure that was never going to happen and said so. But in the next hour, I did the sauna rotation while also including the plunge pool, walking from one end to the other. Maybe next time I will actually take the plunge and go all the way under. My one disappointment and criticism is that the wood fired sauna never got hot enough for actual use. Perhaps they need to start the fire sooner so it gets up to temperature for early morning customers. Maybe next time!

We joined some friends for this delightful sauna and cold plunge experience!…read moreIt was my first time sauna-ing, not to mention outside in the Minnesota winter, but it was so much fun! There were two saunas to choose from, and we went back and forth to both several times. Each sauna has a water dipper and a selection of oils, as well. The hardest park was walking down to the lake with out falling down to get the bucket of freezing lake water to pour on ourselves (we didn't plunge because the lake was frozen, but come back closer to spring and you can just jump in). There was convenient parking, cool water for drinking, and a friendly attendant who kept the fires burning and kept track of your session time. I felt incredibly relaxed after our 75 minute session, and it lasted the rest of the day. Would definitely go back!

It's $35 per person for 90 minutes--which we taught was one of the lower prices we have seen for a sauna session in the twin cities. It was so brilliant!! You can switch between the two cabins, one is a more traditional sauna and the other is more like a greenhouse, and then bop down and lake a dip in Cedar Lake. There is also a cute little seating area with string lights and chairs. It's in the parking lot, so parking was incredibly easy and you're right there so no long walk. They supplies water to drink and essential oils to put on the sauna. There was one person looking out for us the whole time, and she would check on the fires--she was great! Overall, wonderful date night. Would totally do again!

Kylie showed me around the space and was so sweet and personable. I really just wanted a relaxing experience and she made sure that's what I got. The solo sauna was perfect! You get your own space for the scheduled time. You can customize the light color, increase the temp if preferred (though I found the default temp comfortable), and use the iPad they provide to watch or listen to something. I had spa / nature music on and the speakers were positioned well to create the most immersive ambiance. I left feeling so relaxed. The whole space was super clean! They've got showers, different light therapies, and even a social sauna. I definitely recommend this spot for anyone curious about infrared sauna!
