It was a bit overwhelming when we first entered the showroom, but we received orientation as to the options and where to find each. Though we originally went in thinking of engineered hardwood, like we have upstairs, with the water considerations, especially in the kitchen, we are thinking of new generation laminate. It's easy to install, and has great waterproof functionality. It has texture and varied pattern, too. We're just about ready to finalize our measurements and place the order. Their prices are extremely competitive and many styles are in stock for immediate availability. Tony has been very helpful getting us up to speed on this big purchase.

Our experience with these guys was a bummer all around... Mo…read moreassured us they could closely match our existing wood floors, which is why we hired WFG for the quote provided (about 30% higher than our avg quote.) The floors are a completely different color than our existing older hardwood. I understand that the match was never going to be exact, but I am disappointed in how far off they are. If matching aged flooring was never possible, they should not have set our expectations otherwise. When I asked Mo if he thought the color was close, he said they were "maybe 10% different", which I believe was a dishonest answer. The floors are also extremely soft - just lightly pushing a finger nail into them leaves a dent. My guess is they bought cheap planks, made of young lumber that is not as strong as our original floors. The planks were not sanded well either, the surface has bumps that can be felt even with the finish complete.

We are in the midst of a large remodel at our home and had purchased some tile for our shower pans…read moreat a local big box store. When it came time to install it our installer advised we look into another type of tile due to the chance of the tile we purchased turning yellow due to the quality. He recommended we visit Tile City and Stone and seek out the owner Tom which we did. Tom was honest with us about the quality of the tile we had purchased at the big box store and showed us options to replace it. We were not told of the chance of the tile turning yellow when we originally purchased it. We picked out a new tile with Tom's expert help and are excited to see it installed. No knock against the big box store but when it comes to specialized types of tile I would recommended going to Tile City and Stone.
