I am so glad we found this place when passing through Amarillo. It was a little off the beaten path, but the BBQ was fantastic! All the meats were smoky, tender, and flavorful. A little advice- get the fried okra for your side dish. It was soooo good! The restaurant is spacious with a long bar along one wall and a counter where you order and pay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. You won't regret stopping in at Pork N Things!

YUMMY!!!! If you didn't know it, you would drive right past this place. The food was delicious. They toast the bun and pile on the beef!!! So good. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. It has outdoor seating but we sat inside.

Sunday afternoon. Party of four. Quiet and laid back. Friendly waitress. Ordered combo tray of sausage, ribs. and brisket with mac and cheese with tortillas on the side. Really good bbq! We loved their back patio. . Nice evening

We stopped here on a road trip out to Arizona, and now I wish we hadn't. Because now it's all I crave! But as I live 15.5 hours away in Tennessee, I cannot easily get it This was hands-down the best BBQ we've ever had. I got the ribs, and they were so tender and falling off the bone. My husband got the brisket and he said it was also super tender and very flavorful. The sauces were the best, too, and I wish I could have bought bottles of it to bring home! The homemade tortillas they provide are also so good, soft, and warm! To be honest, the area it's in will make you question (1) Am I in the right place? (2) Is this a safe area? and (3) can I trust the food here? Rest assured the answer to all three is YES. We thought it was a little sketch at first, but trusted the reviews. I 10/10 recommend eating here if you're in the area!!

Right on the 40, which makes it so easy when traveling through. LET ME SAY: This was the Texas barbecue we imagined and dreamed it would be... But even better! My husband loved the brisket and I adored the pork ribs. Beans and potato salad were on point. The spicy barbecue sauce is just spicy enough. The tortilla it came with was very fresh. One of the best barbecue experiences I can remember.

    Fatty side brisket, turkey

This is by far one of my favorite bbq places. I absolutely love this place. I am a driver who travels all over the place and am a major foodie. I get obsessed with good places. This is definitely one of them. The owners and staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This place does have a few spots for semi's( across the street). There brisket will make your eyes roll to the back of your head and your mouth explode with excitement! The turkey in the photo is also absolutely dripping with flavor and is delicious!! They are so good that they often sell out so be quick to get here!!

    Delicious ribs!

I don't think a place did you feel more secret than this one does. I'm a deserted road with the closest thing nearby being a truck stop, on the edge of more or less nothing.. it's not the place you would expect to find some of the best barbecue around. Or maybe it's the perfect place to. I'm going to have to eventually come back and try this again and try some of the brisket. The ribs are some of the best I've had! I didn't even use any extra sauce that I had got because the flavor was already so perfect. Everyone was friendly and it was an easy ordering process where they brought it to your table. And the space is absolutely huge. It looks like it would be nothing from the front when you pull up but the space out back is crazy and looks like they would have a great time with a band on a stage!

Food amazing off the charts! Turkey sample tasted delicious, moist and flavor to the hilt. Brisket tender and perfect smoke. Hospitality amazing. Nice little find. Recommended by West Texas Fresh

I got the ribs, turkey, pull pork, and brisket

The food was very delicious. The food was nice and juicy and pulled right off the bone and easy to chew. The people working there were very nice and fast at work. The building was very clean and nice and its matches the whole theme. Overall 10/10 recommend to stop at

Believe the reviews just a little ways off the highway and worth every bit. The pork and burnt end brisket was great.

It's just my favorite food!(after Maine lobster, of course ) She said Wesley's had the best bbq in town. Of course, we had to try it. It was quite a way from our hotel. 9 miles, but well worth it! I had the small rib plate. 3 meaty smokey ribs so tender the meat came right off the bone. With the sweet hickory bbq sauce adding just the right flavor, I was sold. The pinto beans were cooked just right. The cole slaw is the type I like, not over mayonnaised and not too sweet. Crunchy cabbage. There were 7 of us, and everyone cleaned their plate! The bonus was a young singer, Nelson mckinney entertained us with his wonderful voice and guitar playing. This is a don't miss place to eat if you are in Amarillo.

The employees were all very friendly and professional, plus they have great senses of humor :) The side dishes of mac & cheese, potato salad, jalapeno cornbread, and jalapeno cream corn were all brilliant, fresh, and completely hot temperature-wise. Our server was very attentive and cheery. They have a very large two level dining area. The steaks are grilled in plain sight in front of the stage where the world famous 72 oz steak challenge takes place. They bring out fresh baked rolls with your meal. The half order of fried mushrooms was great. My son enjoyed his two 5 oz steak filets, my wife was very pleased with her Prime Rib. I was disappointed with my rib eye, I had to trim off too much fat. The desert was delicious. Overall, don't expect a steak you would be served at a fine steakhouse, but definitely give the Steak Ranch a visit.

We ended up ordering the 1/2 lb Cheeseburger w Mac & Cheese & the 10 ounce Prime Rib w a side Caesar Salad. As mentioned above everything was absolutely fantastic! Our server, Estefania, did an excellent job of taking care of us despite it being a full house & the prices were more than fair ( 2 Entrees, 2 sides & 3 Cocktails ) for $ 100.37. We liked everything so much we came back for Breakfast the following morning & that was terrific as well. The Big Texan is far more than just the novelty of the 72 ounce Steak challenge, it's the total package. Next time we find ourselves in Amarillo we will absolutely have Dinner here again. Thank you Big Texan for such a memorable experience!
