We loved it all. They added pickled carrot and a roasted Serrano with the meals. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! I love the Mulitas, I've never had them before. Delicious! They obliged me and sent enough utensils ,napkins and extra hot salsa!! I will definitely remember them when we're in Amarillo again. (Now to tell my hubby that he ate Lengua!)

We were originally coming down from Colorado, heading back home to Texas, and craving some good…read moreHispanic food. We were in the northern part of Texas and decided to give this spot a try since we were hungry and wrapping up our road trip adventure. When you first walk in, it definitely gives off a family-owned vibe. The place is a bit run-down, so if you're big on aesthetics, this might not be the place for you. That said, it has its own charm, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes up for the simple setting. The restaurant is owned by one man and his family, who were incredibly kind and sweet. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. If you didn't like something, they were more than willing to replace it without hesitation--and without adding to the bill. The prices were very reasonable. Our total was under $30 for both meals, including sodas, tortillas, and unlimited tortilla chips. My boyfriend rated the food 9/10, and I'd give it a solid 8/10. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and want to support a small, local business. Just be patient--good things take time, especially at a place that feels this home-cooked. I'd come back for sure!

Absolute worst dining experience I've ever had. It was so bad I spent 30 minutes at home trying to…read morefind what this place was called again! Dirty old building, old dirty kitchen, looked like it used to be a large studio apartment. Tacos came with warm old tomato and lettuce. Water was ran out of the sink and was like warm with ZERO ice. The place was about 80 degrees which is WARM. Wait or seemed aggravated we showed up in the middle of his soccer game. Corn tortillas were soaked in vegetable oil. Last but not least I ordered a Shrimp cocktail, it had THREE cocktail shrimp and they filled the rest with those tiny salad shrimp all swimming in tomato juice only, no onions, no cilantro, no avocado etc. 5 star reviews were definitely left by the owners or friends. This place should be shut down.

A grumpy guy peeled back the open sign and a bunch of trash piled up against the window and opened it an inch and yelled out we're closed and slammed it back closed again. The neat thing for me personally is that they offer "mini bowls" and all the toppings like queso, guac and sour cream are free. I can never eat a full bowl at chipotle. If you like a little spice the Cholula Chicken is fire. As in really good. It's not too spicy, but the perfect amount IMO. And every single time I've gone the guacamole is nice and cold, not room temperature, and fresh which I am a a huge stickler about. Service for me has been super fast without a dip or compromise in freshness and quality. And it also doesn't break your bank. I highly recommend you try it out.

Uber Eats was not showing their website and after watching some videos on this restaurant. I had to try it for myself. He helped me get set up on their application and made sure it was all done. After placing my order the delivery person never showed up with my food. Problem?! Not at all. He made sure to reorder my food and get it to me ASAP, without any issues. I was so hungry. So as soon as I got my food, I took all as couple of snapshots and went to town. It did not disappoint they definitely make sure to pack my plate. Unlike Chipotle, when you order to go or for delivery, they seem to give you less food. I would definitely recommend they have many protein options as well as sides. Everything i would definitely be going back to try their tacos. And other protein burritos. They offer everything Chipotle offers only cheaper. I wish they sold agua frescas.
