Then she said the simplest words many places forget: "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." She immediately offered options -- refund the fries or drop off a fresh order. I chose the fries. Within minutes, they delivered a full container of hot, delicious fries to my door -- even though I had chosen carryout. The driver apologized again and even included cookies.
