It is a BYOB establishment so you will be left drinking canned sodas or tea. Not a huge issue, but certainly sad. We ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer. Fishy. I'm not afraid of fishy but I fully expect lobster to be sweet and the bisque to add a burst of creaminess. It was very obviously not fresh lobster. For entrees we ordered the lobster Mac and Cheese and the Blackened Stuffed Flounder. First, the lobster was no less fishy in the Mac and Cheese which was bland and not very flavorful. Secondly, the flounder was a huge disappointment. It wasn't blackened so didn't have that familiar character flavor profile. It was soft throughout. Like a pile of bland mush with zero flavor or texture. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't previously frozen and possible microwaved. To fail on all levels beyond the service is inexplicable. Sadly, this will not be on the rotation of wonderful restaurants to visit in the Kingwood area.

I'm having tons of fun playing great music with other like-minded adults. They have also been fantastic during covid with remote and/or in-person lessons and rehearsals. He attends a 1on1 course during the week, with a group class on Saturdays, and really loves going there. His musical appreciation has exploded. The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Mostly everyone was playing darts inside and nothing else was going on outside probably because it's just too damn hot for that. The biggest complaint is the parking lot, it's got some big craters or pot holes, call it what you want but just drive really slow. Asked to leave because of service dogs not allowed (Marine Corps Veteran). For a place that has…read moremilitary flags hanging through out it was shocking. Didn't ask for documentation, tags or identification (all docs available upon request). The service dog was wearing his vest, tags and leash. When we told them it's illegal to deny a person with a service dog, they did not care. We asked if the owner knew we were being denied entry and we were told that the owner was the one denying the entry. We were told he could see us on the cameras and wanted us to leave. Texas law are clear on this and this establishment is breaking the law. Picture of the service dog has been added to this review. Not aggressive and over 10k in training.
