I will never order on line to be picked up from this location again. Yesterday, 09/25/21, I placed an order for a chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, 2 sides and 2 pies - 1 apple & 1 blackberry cheese. Because I needed these orders separated, when I got there I asked for another bag. When I started to open the bag, one girl just stood there, not trying to help me open it even though I made mentioned that it was tied so tightly! I finally got it open and discovered a pie was missing. Well, she had a pie in hand to give me, without questioning or looking in the bag to see if I was telling the truth. And when I said I ordered a blackberry cheese, she then tells me they didn't have any because they didn't deliver them today. Now if I hadn't unpacked the bag I would have never been told. I also, thought it odd that both women kept watching me as I repacked the bags. I asked for honey and one gave me so many packets!!! Well, when I reached my destination I realized why they kept looking at me!!! A fish sandwich costs More then a chicken, and they CHEATED me by giving me TWO CHICKEN SANDWICHES!!!! I guess that's why they kept watching me to see if I would discover that too!!! And I might add, when I was leaving, another woman was going back in the store, with her order in hand!!! read more

The service at this particular location of Popeyes on vanowen in Reseda is horrible. They have bunch of not knowing what to do people there. Their manners suck and our orders are wrong 9 out of ten so we have to go back and get what's missing. If we didn't love the food we won't go there but unfortunately this is the only location close to us. read more

Is it just me or does popeyes have the most delicious chicken and sauces in all of the fast food chicken market!??!? Unfortunately, this branch does not do the brand justice, as other locations have workers which will smile and maybe even give you an extra sauce or two if you like. This place right here, they are the exact opposite: not only do they charge for EACH AND EVERY sauce that you want, something which I think is crazy when the chicken is already the most expensive anywhere at $5 for 3 pieces of tenders, they also charge for water. I went to Popeyes at this location on Vanowen. I ordered combo #8 which was the 3 pc chicken tender combo for $10.49. I was upgrading the fries and expected the additional charge but did not expect my total come out to over $20. I asked how much more was the additional cost but cashier just kept repeating the total and I decided to keep the combo at it's standard size. Total still was coming out to $17.39 or so. I asked the cashier if she had inputed the correct combo. She read my order again. I patiently asked her, "Do you think the total makes sense when the combo is $10.49?" She just replied that she inputs the order and the register tells her what to charge. I still said nicely, " Do you think that a $7 tax charge to my order makes sense?" She looked confused. I canceled my order. She then proceeded to shush me away with her hand. RUDE! It was an older dark complexion woman who spoke Spanish. I was courteous at all times. Loved coming here on Tuesday Thursday for the $.99 specials. The thing I hated was waiting for my chicken because with my luck they seemed to either have ran out and are making a new batch as I'm taking my order. But yeah, used to come here all the time, when your on a budget you got to come here and get some fried chicken. Forget The Colonel and his secret blends of herbs and spices. i have not ever written a yelp review, but this place was too disgusting!!!! my first time here too. i usually go to the one in north hills because this one has always looked sketchy to me. but tonight i gave it the "benefit of the doubt" as soon as i got there the cashier had a big attitude. when they gave me my order they didnt give me my cups of soda and took forever to give them to me. when i got home my fries were just thrown in the bag.. not even in a cup. and the sandwich tasted like it was just microwaved. do not go to this spot if youre a popeyes fan. it'll definitely ruin your drive for popeyes chicken! read more

I had never tried Popeye's chicken until last year and I honestly didn't know what I was missing...the tenders, hushpuppy shrimp, and sides especially the mashed potatoes(has bacon and spices in their gravy) are excellent. Better than restaurant quality. This location is a perfect size and clean. The servers were great and friendly, which I definitely appreciate. Once you try Popeye's, KFC can never compare. Trust me! My mom and sister surprised me with popeyes for dinner, this was my first time eating from here. I had a spicy chicken sand which was bomb. I'm munching on this food cause it was delicious. Food is decent but my gosh they messed up every way possible. They always take too long so I ordered online. I ordered online and they gave me fries instead of mashed potatoes. I went to Popeyes on a lunch break on 2/25/19. JESSICA, working the front refused to serve me because I complained to her about the 20 minute wait and she said that she didn't have to serve me for having a harsh tone. I said nothing rude, but of course I had an irritated tone when I'm waiting in line 15 minutes, have to wait 7 more minutes for my food and I only get a 30 minute break. After I called corporate and they did nothing about it, I asked for her name or a manager and she refused either option. She stated there was no manager on site which is a lie because there's a shift manager for every shift. I got her name from another customer's receipt. I see previous reviews stating how rude the cashiers are so something needs to be done. JESSICA needs to be fired because her nasty attitude will cause more problems than benefits. read more

The workers do what they can with what they are given, and they are given so little because of horrible management. Carpets are all torn up because the owner won't buy any. I don't know if I should be giving them more stars but I don't think the service allows that. Went in to get a family meal spicy and regular, sides and biscuits which was about 15 or 20 pieces. Asked to get some sauces to go with the chicken and I was told that I have to buy them and they're only allowed to give us 4.. I don't know what's gotten into places like them and wingstop it's getting out of hand. After spending 30 plus dollars on chicken I think the least they can do is offer more sauces and not be stingy with the sauces that's not costing them more than 5 cents. Totally unacceptable and kinda of a scam to be honest. Not sure this place is worth it anymore, I'd rather go somewhere else than feel that I'm being robbed with sauces to compete my meal. read more
