I placed an order for pick up on Tuesday and I go to pick it up and get in my car. Something told me to check it and I did. I was missing my chicken tenders. I go back with my order and tell them and the cook person in the back says that I'm not missing anything. I show my phone order plus the receipt taped on bag and she's like no, it was a 3 piece chicken I tell her and cashier employee that I'm missing the tenders from bundle and it's as if the cook is bothered and upset. Why don't cooks read the receipt correctly and why don't employees packing up check to make sure everything is in the bag!! It's not that hard to double check what you're packing and read the receipt correctly so you get order correct. Imagine if I would have left the Popeyes and this happened, I would be 10Xs more upset because gas is so expensive to go back!! I wanted to take advantage of their deals on the Popeyes app but didn't want all the sides. Carlo took the time to combine various deals for me so that I could get just chicken for the best value possible. I placed a separate order for another one of their deals that included sides. I got 5 piece chicken + 2 small sides + 2 biscuits for $9.99. Make sure you download their app before ordering. The deals are much better than what you get in person. Disclaimer, it is a much better experience if you speak Spanish. If not, please be patient. However, they are never prepared. No matter when you place the order on any app, they always discover that they did not receive the order when you arrive. It never fails. The app even notifies you when it should be ready. I arrived 5 minutes later just to be told this. And, I even scheduled the order further in advance to give them more time. Once again, they had no idea that the order was placed. Then they will say 5 minutes, even though it is impossible to finish in that time. If they were not nice people, it would be a 1-star rating. I do not know what is going on here, but I have only had one order right and on time out of the last 6 orders. It is infuriating. I have already been here for over 10 minutes for an order I made over half an hour ago. Most importantly, they never apologize or admit to any failure or missed service. In this last experience, I asked them if the chicken was fresh chicken that was recently made. They said yes, it was made three minutes ago. I said, okay, great and placed my order. When I got to my car, I decided to check the chicken before leaving the parking lot. Sure enough the chicken was cold and hard. I returned to Popeyes and told them that I needed fresh chicken; the ones they gave me were old. They said it would take 25 minutes for fresh chicken. I said that's fine; I will wait. I waited approximately 20 minutes when they gave me another box of chicken. I got home and checked the box; it was the same old chicken that was refried. I was livid!
