The fried pickles were spears and not overly salty chips! The bacon on the burger was a quality that supersedes any fine dining restaurants order of bacon as a side as it was hearty, thick, crunchy and flavorful. The oil everything was fried in didn't have a hint of fish flavor or old taste either. It did seem that they were still training server staff as there were several stops at our table with other patron's drinks and food before it found its rightful owner. It was kinda fun to view other dishes as this was our first visit. It is a tad on the pricy side, but if you are looking for quality food cooked correctly, it'll be worth it, just maybe not every week. LOL The drinks from the lounge were absolute heaven, although again, small glasses and lots of ice with a big price tag. The one thing I will have to pick on just a tad is the signs claim of "fine" dining. There's always room for improvement right? Now I'm not saying at ALL that their establishment needs improvement, only that if I'm looking for fine dining...it will entail more comfortable seating and a less cafeteria environment, staff not adorned in t-shirts and jeans, and more on the menu that isn't typical bar fare. I enjoy how even under due ownership they're honoring the previous name "ROXYS" I see on Google maps and Apple maps that it shows up as the sandbar but this bar is now currently Roxy's. I don't know how this reveal is gonna help anybody since this location shows closed. There is still a bar, but the current name of the bar is Roxy's lounge, a great place to grab a drink one of the only bars that stays open till 2 AM in Sandpoint.
