I'm writing this after my experiences ordering for takeout (@4PM) and at the drive thru (11AM). I was second in line during both visits, waited 15 min and 10 min respectively to receive my orders. The dining area was clean, no sticky floors or crumb covered tables here. The employees were friendly. Budget Tip: check your junk mail for money saving coupons! Good lord this place is terrible. I am writing this review as I am sitting here waiting for my mobile order that I placed over 40 mins ago. I walked in to pickup my order and waited 15 mins before anyone acknowledged me. When they finally did they found my order and said ok we'll have it done. 30 mins later still waiting. They tried to offer me tenders instead of the sandwich. I said no. Waited another 8 minutes. Finally it was done. And guess what they forgot something in my order. I've ordered food from this location regularly for almost 3 years- as it's close to my office and convenient to grab dinner on the way in to my night shifts. But in the last 6 months their service has gone completely down the toilet. I've now left WITHOUT FOOD on TWO occasions in the last month. First time: I placed a mobile order, checked in at the drive-thru, was told to pull around and wait. Fifteen minutes later, still nothing. When I went inside, they didn't even acknowledge me. I had to leave without my food and was late for work. I complained through the app -- no refund, no response. Second time: I ordered at the window, paid, and was told to pull around again. I refused after what happened last time. A second employee named Jesus said he wouldn't give me my food unless I moved. When I refused again, he gave me my money back and told me to get out the drive thru so he could serve the other customer behind me. So once again, I left with no dinner and no time before work to get food from anywhere else. This place has zero accountability, zero urgency, and zero respect for customers. Don't waste your time or your money here. Chick-fil-A is literally across the street, do yourself a favor and go there. read more

If I could give negative stats I would. My brother died today and I just wanted to get my wife and kids home. It has been a long day. I stopped at Popeyes on the way and ordered 3 of the $6 boxes with tenders, one with the 2 piece spicy chicken and two sandwich combos. The 2 piece was missing and I asked for it to be fixed. They threw a fit. The manager, a black lady was strutting around telling people to clean and stock while we sat there. I saw her go in the office 3 times to check her phone. She came to the window to argue with me and then boxed up some chicken. Her words to the cashier were give this to him, I don't care if you throw it at him. Never again. I just have to say that this location is run so well. The manager in there always has a smile, the place is clean, they are fast, and everyone I have encountered is polite and accommodating. I know this just a fast food place but every time I come u consider leaving this review and today was the day I had time! The service at Popeyes has descended into chaos and disgust. Wait times have become interminable, both inside and at the drive-thru, to the point of being intolerable. Repeatedly, I'm seeing missing items and, to make matters worse, incorrect pieces. You may end up with thighs instead of breasts, or other questionable substitutions, and the quality is shockingly poor. Today, 11/04/2025, I bought two "breast" portions. What I received was a farce: one piece looked like it was missing a chunk of meat, the other resembled a small thigh at best perhaps even a pigeon breast by comparison. Both pieces were incredibly dry, and the meat under the skin looked scorched and fried to a crispy, greasy state as if it had been recooked. I went inside to request a refund and was flatly refused. I left the chicken and the receipt on the counter and walked out in disbelief. This location will not receive another dime of my business. To cap it off, the drive-thru cashier eagerly escalated the situation into an argument, which I refused to continue. I would not recommend this Popeyes to anyone. The subpar food integrity, inconsistent orders, and hostile service are indefensible. Immediate corrective action is overdue. read more

Round two, different location for the ghost pepper wings where a Delish articles states: "They are rated at over one million Scoville Heat Units and are considered to be 170 times hotter than Tabasco sauce." The first attempt, I thought for sure they must have just given me the spicy wings as they weren't hot. Welp, it's official, I'm dead inside or these ghost pepper wings are ghosting us with the actual spice. They have great flavor, but they are anything but hot! Besides the major let down of spiciness of the ghost pepper wings, the drive thru was quick, friendly, and appreciated asking if I needed utensils or napkins. First off, let me say that fried chicken is my favorite food. Since I've started eating Popeye's in 2002, I've thought that it's one of the tastiest options out there. This review isn't really a ding on this location, but of Popeye's in general. When I've gone to this location over the years the chicken is usually hot and fresh, and tastes very good. Service is usually fine. I really enjoy spicy foods, and I've eaten all types of very hot stuff, from strong curries to blazing hot wings. I've only encountered 2 things that my body can't handle: Popeye's and Church's spicy chicken. Over the years, it seems I can tolerate it less and less. After I eat it, I usually wake in the middle of the night with severe GI discomfort (and other symptoms I won't discuss). The aftereffects last well into the next day. Aside from the GI issues, I also feel horrible in general; tired and achy, like I have some type of systemic inflammation. I don't feel this way after eating other fried chicken. I thought I might get away with eating just one spicy breast, but even that bothers me. I don't know what ingredients or prep methods that may be causing this, but I'm finally DONE. HORRIBLE FOOD, Im very disappointed. Ordered a combo with 2 sandwiches, fries and wings. Half of my wings looked old and dry. There was tears/bites in both of the buns of my sandwich, THEY FORGOT MY FRIES :( I called them to let them know what happened and the manager that received the call seemed like a nice person but they need to be more on top of things so that they make things like this less common. After ordering I read the reviews on here and it seems like if you had to pick any restaurant to STAY AWAY FROM HERE. 1.5 STARS as of Oct 2025 and I love the franchise Popeye's but this place's lack of food prep and its lack of customer care when it comes to managing orders shows. read more

I'll never go back here again. I pulled into the drive thru to order a sandwich and a small soda. First off she asks me if I have their reward program. And calls me "Hon" I replied no and she says well you should...I order the sandwich and soda and she asks me what side I want and I politely replied that I just wanted the sandwich and soda. She starts telling me that I should order a side and why don't I want a side. I said I just wanted the sandwich and soda that I ordered. She repeated again why don't I want a side? I thought she was drunk or something because her speech was slurred. She told me to pull around and as I leave the microphone she's asking me for a third time what drink I ordered so I yelled out the window...because I was already pulling forward and also annoyed that I was being harassed to order a side. The person that was in front of me was also clearly annoyed with her as I could hear them raising their voice and waving their arms around. I pull up thinking ok. Just get your food and leave. But no...she starts telling me that I don't need to yell in the speaker and acknowledged that she asked me three times what my drink was. Then starts talking to me in a very drunk condescending tone about how I must be having a bad day. Seriously???? I asked for my money back so I could leave but she kept on about how I must be having a bad day. I finally got my money back. I could see the workers behind her were clearly disturbed by her. This isn't even the first time I've had a problem like that at this location. So with that I will take my money to one of the other DOZENS of fast food restaurants on that corner. I don't need this crap. Not for the prices we are paying for food at restaurants. If you have time to waste then this is your place. I arrived at 11:05 on a weekday. I stood there for a minute or two before anyone acknowledged me. I was the only one in the store. To my surprise I see only 3 people working. 1 cook, 1 drive thru person and another working the counter --as she stood around looking lost for a few minutes before she took my order. The window clerk was running back and forth to the dining room filling drink orders as she took orders from the window which probably meant the drive thru fountain was out of service. She also had to pack the orders that she took. Finally, After I placed my order a flood of people started coming in for the lunch crowd. The young lady at the counter became quickly overwhelmed taking orders while the window clerk was yelling at her to start packing signaling her to prepare the orders in between each one she took--which she couldn't because there was a shortage of food made and not enough for to pack a full order. As I waited over 20 mins as did others, people began walking out. My order was sitting on the counter half prepared while the clerk waited for more chicken to be cooked along with the French fries that didn't get dropped into the fryer until 17 mins after I made my order. The clerk became so panicked she started short changing customers as they called her out on it. After 23 minutes I went back to the counter and requested a refund as it still wasn't ready. The half packed box of food sat on the counter for over 15 minutes cooling while the clerk waited for more chicken and the French fries. I used the mobile app to order BOGO for one dollar wings. I ordered garlic parmesan (mild)flavoring. I pickup my order and decide to try the wings before I drive home. The wings are spicy with garlic parmesan flavoring on top. I calledthe store to report the error. Manager informs me that all the wings are spicy with the exception of the full wings and all the do is put the flavoring on them. The website is misleading. I had MAJOR GASTRIC problems and would not taken a bite of the wing knowing how spicy (ghost pepper) hot it was. The manager offered to make me order right by changing it to full wings. Thank you.
