This is the first Popeye's I have been to and so will never ever go to one again. The Popeye's in Dillion North Carolina should be shut down - the health department needs to make an inspection. If I could give zero star I would. I waited for their machine to greet me and it didn't. Waited and it still didn't. So I drove along and got to the window and the person name Malaysa told me that they can't serve me I got to drive back around. Okay so hi! We are road tripping for a move and we wanted to have a quick meal before we finish the final leg of the drive and this is where we decided to eat. There was really no line of cars around the building, but since we had a 7ft tall moving van, we decided to go inside and get our food to avoid making them reach their entire torso out of the window to give us our order, because that's excessive and above their pay grade. You know what's not above their pay grade? Making sure we get our entire order. But, that's cool. The order was a 3 pc tender meal and a water, a spicy sandwich with mashed potatoes and coke, a regular sandwich with Mac and cheese and sprite. We got 2 tenders in the meal, the spicy chicken sandwich, the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, and a sprite & water. GIRL? Y'all don't quality or even QUANTITY check? Like?!?? Weird. So weird. And I go to ask for my coke since we didn't check the contents of the bag at that point and the girl behind the counter walked away so fast. My favorite place to stop in the south... For some reason, Popeye's Chicken taste better in the south.lol lol I always like to stop at this location. Lady that took my order was very friendly. Got the $5 boneless wing special, and the chicken was hot from the fryer, and tasted very good. Red beans -n- rice and biscuit finished off a very good snack. My only complaint with Popeye's, are their sauces. BBQ is a little too spicy for me. I know down here in the south, people love Bojangles and KFC more but I have to say that Popeyes in Dillon South Carolina is way more better than these two restaurants. The staff is okay but they do get your orders rights so far since I've been coming to this location I haven't had it a wrong order. All the food that I have received from this fast food restaurant has been correct, hot, and fresh. This establishment is very clean, I haven't seen it dirty. The only problem I have with this fast food restaurant is that the drive through speaker is kind of messed up, so you can barely hear what they are saying. read more

This is the second time I have gone through the drive thru. My food was wrong even though they repeated my order back to me. I can understand stand why when they on their phone. I can't eat spicy!!! I chose to stop by Popeyes for a spicy chicken sandwich on a long drive. The sandwich was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The service was even better. The ladies working there were so pleasant and really put the cherry on top of the whole experience. I wish this Popeyes was in my hometown so I could continue to support them. read more

I stopped here on the way home to Savannah, GA from North Carolina on 10/11/18. I usually never leave reviews, good or bad, but the ladies that waited on me at this location were SO SWEET and friendly that I dug through my purse for the receipt, checked for the exact location where I stopped, and took to yelp just so I could sing their praises. The two stars are because the food at least was as ordered. That aside, it took way longer than it should have, and nothing was even hot. The employees were trying to do several orders at once instead of focusing on one or two at a time, which seemed to be too much for them to handle. There ended up being a big confusion between who ordered what and what went where. The bathroom in this Popeyes is the worst restaurant bathroom I have ever been in in my life. The bathroom floor was wet and gunky with some black residue, and the toilet stall was blocked off by "wet floor" yellow cones. The sink was discolored and appeared as it hadn't been cleaned in days. It was so bad I did not allow my son to step into that room. Another complaint I had about the restaurant is that they advertised a 9 piece meal that they did not carry. Went by one night and sat at drive up sign for over 5 minutes. 3 workers in parking lot having a good time. I drove up to window and one lady (manager) on phone and another standing in there. This was 9pm. Don't close til 9:30. I went next door to get food. When I left I could see lady was off phone. I called and explained the situation. She said they had a problem and had to close early. So I asked why someone didn't just let me and the other 4 cars that came through know that they were closed. I know things happen but could have turned lights outside or at sign off or simply let people know they were closed. Lady got real hateful and said even a pencil got an eraser. This was my first time eating at a Popeye's and it was a fantastic experience. The General Manager (Adrienne I believe was her name) helped me order exactly what I wanted the most inexpensive way possible, saving me time and hassle. The shrimp and chicken was delicious and the biscuit was fresh. The staff was friendly and courteous. Tables were clean and the condiments are neat and organized! I just wanted to express my disdain over the service that my family received today for lunch. The dining room attendant named Bridgette was very rude to my family and had an overall terrible attitude, at one point mumbling how "these people are getting on my nerves". Also, the crew behind the counter forgot our order. We waited about 30 minutes while other orders that were taken after ours were completed and given to customers. We ended up getting a refund and going next door to Zaxby's. We were not the only customers with complaints and we watched as other customers asked for and received a refund. If attitudes and conditions do not improve at this Popeye's location, you guys are going to lose business. read more
