I tend to get the two piece chicken with poutine meal. It was around $12 for that. Good price. I think you can get bonus points on your first purchase on app, but check the T&C and your email. I ordered too quickly after signing up and didn't check my email. Luckily the customer service replied to my email about it and gave me the bonus points. Preety new chicken gig inside the biggest mall in Burnaby. Service is okay,restaurant is clean although still busy because it is new in here: The chicken slices is smaller than the other contemporary which is good coz it is cooked up to inside. Interior design is nice mostly orange and cream,they blended well,take out and dine in roughly can house 20 patrons in one sitting. Parking is free courtesy of the mall... Finally, a shiny new Popeyes location in Burnaby. Parking is available in the strip mall lot, as well as the side streets. The place is nice and bright. Seating area seems slightly smaller than the Port Coquitlam location. Staff are friendly and eager to help. The chicken sandwich is really something one has to try. Hits the spot. This is the go to. There's a reason people in USA go crazy for this thing. With that said, the secret (tartar?) sauce is what makes the sandwich unique. The weird thing about this chain in general is that many of their items are also mediocre and/or not worth ordering. Their onion rings are greasy and mushy. Their biscuit (and chicken biscuit by extension) are mediocre at best. I would avoid these items and stick to the sandwich. Hopefully the crowd dies down a bit over the next few months. Oh boy.. am I ever glad that this location has finally opened up! Prior to this location, the next closest location was in Port Coquitlam.. which we would only go to if we are in the area visiting family or friends. So we are quite stoked to have a location in Burnaby! On this day (on a Friday around 5:30), I came at the right time cause there was only one couple in front of me. Then while waiting for my food, the lineup suddenly formed and was outside the door. Phew! I ordered two Spicy Chicken sandwiches for fiancé and I, plus a large order of Cajun Fries. I ordered the 14 piece family meal which came with two large sides and biscuits. I asked the employee how many breast pieces (white meat) woul be included. She didn't know but told us 2 or 3. We found zero pieces of white meat. 6 pieces were legs, 2 wings, and the rest were thigh pieces. We were disappointed because breast meat is a favorite and when ordering 14 pieces this should be included. I would not recommend go elsewhere! Apparently I had to give a star rating. I couldn't give a negative star I had/ have a Horrible experience piece of joint of a chicken was in my food. It broke my tooth as it ripped the gum as the piece was slim ya d fell out. Trying to deal with management a the hire ups. I have a request to everyone I am having an issue with Popeyes Back in July I went to said restaurant I was eating the poutine fries and bite into a gravy covered u. knowingly chews a piece of rubbery cartilage which pulled my front tooth. Ripping the gum where the tooth broke off. So I contact Popeyes telling them what happened They were in denial it took forever to deal with them I got an estimate of the cost and best way to fix issue. They offered 200$ for my " pain and suffering ". I was asked by the manager they wa ted the tooth and the piece that was in my food. I told them no because they would deny that it ever happen. They said they need to. "Examine"things I told them that I would be screwed if I did this. They said I need to co operate so they can help. Soooo I had gave a piece of the piece and I gave them the tooth. I asked them to email me a note stating what just happened and what I gave them. I came into store a couple times to figure out what was going on with the case. I talked to the branch person and he tells me that I have been harassing the mgr of store. I also get a call from an investigator for store trying to make me say throngs that aren't true. Talked to the branch person. He tells me that I agreed that I was the cause of my tooth being broken. The investigator was being passive aggressive and running in circles and badgering me The branch person said ther I would have to lawyer up Im like " yea ok like i can afford a lawyer and of course can't afford the cost of the fixing of the tooth. On Sept 27 I went to Popeyes to talk to ppl outside telling them my story and how they refuse to take ownership of this incident About an hour after leaving. Popeyes called the police and had them come to my house (2 police cars ) to tell me I can not talk and tell people my horrid experince. I was mortified embarrassed. with them coming to my door. Telling me I can not "protest" in fro t or anywhere on " private property ". The mall is considered private property. I told them methat I did t know I could t. The police seemed to sorry to hear and thought the whole situation was stupid basically as they apologize, but they had to do their job and notify me Sooooo im asking everyone to boycott Popeyes I really do t want anyone to have to go through this either soooo here I am at home and my mom comes home watching all this happening. Im in shocked dismayed , and in disbelief with everything going on lastly hoping b/c of the gap it won't weaken the other teeth Soooooo as u will see in pics the piece the tooth and the gap. Sadly it's a fron t tooth Soooo I ask that you boycott All Popeyes We the people need to make a stand to hit the owners that they need treat and take ownership of their mistakes. Ordered from skipthedishes and the sandwich wasn't what I ordered. I asked for no mayo and it was covered in it. Fries were stone cold and the mash potatoes were just gross. Came to try out for dinner yesterday. Very expensive. We bought the 8 piece Pak and also added 5 more pieces of chicken. $35.00. too expensive. I guess it's KFC or Churches again. This is the worst managed location. These workers actually have no idea what they're doing. I've had the workers mess up my children's 5 piece tender order multiple times. Every time you place an order for the original 5 piece they feel the need to automatically make the spicy ones without asking you which is clearly not what my 3 year old will eat. I try calling to discuss the wrong order and of course the phone goes straight to voicemail 8 times in a row. Talk about a very disorganized and poorly run business. I feel you have to place your order, watch the staff make it and after they pack it up YOU have to open the packaging to make sure the order is correct for you'll be driving back and forth and the rude staff will try to make you feel stupid when you clearly show them the wrong order. The front line staff needs to be trained on customer skills especially the know it alls who argue on irrelevant facts. read more

So after trying all 3 Surrey locations and the chicken was always tasty. Screeeeech! After all Popeyes has been advertising this location on the back of transit buses. My first clue to issues should have been the fact of the misspelling of Kingsway as the ads on the buses say Kinsway. Oops! Place was busy but lots of staff! I like that. Ordered a coupon special of 5 pieces plus two biscuits and ordered the Cajun mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The chicken? Salty. I never really tasted the true popeyes that I have had in all 3 Surrey locations. I have never had salty chicken at all 3. This likely took away from the whole experience and that's a shame! Why? Because hundreds and hundreds will come through the door experiencing this disgusting chicken experience not knowing any better. Popeyes? Investigate yo! The biscuits were as per my other experiences. The other interesting thing was I had the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy. It was on par with my other experiences but wait!!!
