Food was good wish the chicken thighs were a little bigger restaurant was clean and service was good

I hate to do it, but this place is terrible. After waiting 15 minutes from ordering to receiving my food, the chicken is practically non-existent, the fries not filled, and drink not made. Food was warm, but barely, and the dining room is about 60°. They're going to close and close fast-- Guthrie's, Canes, SuperChix, and three Chick-Fil-As are about 1 minute from here. read more

Waited forever for a mobile order. Got pulled up and forgotten about. Had to go inside and workers weren't apologetic in the slightest. Long lines inside and outside. The workers seemed like they didn't know how to handle anything. Will not be going back. read more

Okay here goes... 1. Chicken well cooked when the store first opened, I believe they are using the same oil a month later. sides are acceptable. 2. order is not completed as ordered 3. Cooking staff does not wear gloves when preparing food 4. Staff is busy. I do like the new location, but improvements need to be made. read more

Out of fried chicken at a chicken fast food restaurant? Seriously? Store on Hwy 280 obviously needs to find a better manager.

Okay this is my second review within the last month. I tried to work with this business. To the owners: Outback just closed on 280 just like many many businesses before them. They did not close because of the food etc., they closed because of people like us stop eating there because of terrible management and customer service. This will be the same fate for this Popeyes location on 280. I begged the people to put a KFC out here without any success. Raising Canes cannot come fast enough! Customer service is terrible here. I will not be back but I will comment again once this place closes. You cannot sustain a business in this economy (Government Shutdown) with terrible customer service. No one should have to wait in the drive thru for 8 minutes for someone to take your order. Then once you get to the window after ordering they ask you to wait another 15minutes for your food. No wait there is more, after waiting 15 minutes in the car we finally went inside for our food. People all standing around waiting on their food as well with tickets in their hands. Just so unorganized. Management just look at the cameras you will see how many people were standing around waiting in the lobby for their food. SMH Finally, back to my initial point... Outback is gone from 280 forever! read more

I have tried and tried with the place and EVERY SINGLE TIME IM LET DOWN! I spent 26 bucks order 0802 and it wasn't worth it. i ordered a wrap meal, 3 fries and a tender meal. It took over 20 min to get it. At that time 2 young employees came in with food from another resturant and clocked in. A customer asked them a question, he was having issues on the kiosk and she ignored him. They also ignored the manager when she asked them where their work shoes were. I received my order and had to go back in the store twice for missing items. The final thing for me was when I opened my wrap. There was barley a chicken tender in there! I took it back in and asked for another one to be added the manager said no and that how they come. I have never had a wrap from them with a tender that small! I left upset and once I drove off my mom said her chicken tasted funny and chewy. I looked at the chicken and it WASN'T DONE!!! They gave my mother raw chicken! live near here and I was so excited when I found out they were coming here but it has been one disappointing trip after another and wasted money. They just need to close the store, retrain new staff and reopen because if this continues I see them closed by the end of the year. 1 star is too nice it should be zero stars! read more

Nothing tastes worse than disappointment. Even by fast-food standards, this was underwhelming. I spent $26 to try the featured Last Dab meal, only to sit down and find no sauces -- the very reason I came in the first place. When I asked at the counter, I was told they didn't have any. This should have been tracked in inventory or at least communicated to customers before ordering. While the food itself might have been fine, the lack of accountability turned the whole experience into a bottom-tier visit. read more

I waited over 30 minutes for ONE meal that I ordered ahead in the app. The workers seem to come to work to fraternize and have a party in the back than serve people the food they are paying for. Awful! I will not be retuning. For this area; I am baffled at the service quality. Terrible. Can I leave this as zero stars? I hope so. This location has been a disaster since the beginning. Huge wait times but people want Popeyes so we keep coming. Not anymore, Saturday Oct. 25 did it. Went inside to order as the Drive through is always a 40 minute trip. Ordered on the kiosk, paid, and sat down. I found out there were two people there doing everything. Taking drive thru orders, cooking, and filling orders. The customers inside had been there so long their orders had rolled off the workers computer screen. Some got what they said they ordered. I waited until my order rolled off the screen. Wanted to get a refund but no one to do it. I gave up and let them keep my $24. They had no chance of filling all the orders so taking them at the kiosk was taking candy from us babies. read more

I have been to many Popeyes and this is by far the worst one ever. I should've read the reviews before I went. I've been to the one in Pelham and never had an issue. The employees were nice but they got my food wrong. I waited 20 minutes for it and apparently some people before me had gotten mad and left. I hope management sees this and tries to correct, but apparently, after reading all the reviews, they have a lot of issues to work on. read more

This is my last visit to Popeyes on Hwy 280 in Birmingham. At dinner time the drive through was closed-only 4 people working. Food that you could order (they were out of nearly everything) was cold and poor quality. The manager took my order-I got biscuits I did not order, the chicken was cold and the apple pies were cold and dry. NEVER AGAIN! They have only been open about 6 weeks. read more

I have to say as a lover of Popeyes, I was so excited when I found out that they were opening a location near me. I went there during their dry run opening week. I have been there @12 additional times. My average wait time is 32 minutes. They basically, hide in the back until someone has to present an order. They have been out of products 10 out of the 12 times I have been there. ( sauces, tower drinks, bottled water and wings.) I received the wrong items twice, both through the drive-thru. I have never gone inside and received all of my items, originally. ( left out: sandwiches, red beans and rice, strips and sauces ). it's hard to identify managers, if there are any. The floor control, inventory mgt, and services are all broken. I understand that this particular store is owned by a large company who operates several and several brands. This restaurant will not survive if it is not fixed. Someone should pay attention to the operations here. During the opening week, I saw no less than 20 people who appeared to be, either supervisors, operations personnel or corporate team members. They witnessed the chaos and left with it in chaos. This falls on the ownership group as much as the locals. If you are in a hurry, want any semblance of service and expect accuracy, do not eat at this location. read more

They'll charge you for the cold food, but the bad attitude is free. I've tried ordering food here several times since they've opened over the past few months... each time hoping that the food/service would improve. Each time, the order has been wrong. Sauces are never in the bag. Sometimes the food is cold or missing. Today, I ordered ahead on the app before pulling into the drive thru for pickup. I was told that the food wasn't ready, to pull forward, and that they would bring it to me. I parked and waited for 10 minutes. I went back through the drive thru and inquired on the lead time. They handed me my bag which had been sitting on a shelf. I opened it to check the order and they asked me to pull forward so that it would not interfere with their car service time at the window. If you're not aware, fast food businesses have cameras that clock the amount of time a car sits at the drive thru window. I opened the bag. The food was cold and there were no sauces in the bag. They handed me a few sauces, but not the dab ranch that is suppose to come with the Hot One Bundle. When I asked for hot food, they gave me more fries with an eye roll and face scowl, but no hot chicken. Unfortunately, I paid for the food on the app up front. Otherwise, I would have refused to pay for cold food. I was their first customer in the drive thru window the day that they opened... and I'm sure that I won't be the last customer that they lose at this Cahaba Park Circle, Hwy 280 location. I'd rather drive 20 minutes to the Pelham location where the food is always hot, and the service is always friendly. read more
