Coffee is fairly standard breakfast blend kind of stuff btw. Recommend a stop here when in the area and hankering for some sweet treats.

When we first got there yesterday, the young lady (skinny Caucasian woman) behind the counter didn't acknowledge or even speak to us until we asked if we could place an order. It was around 12:45/1pm so maybe she was about to get off, idk but it didn't leave the best impression as this was my first time coming here. My friend and I both ordered a donut, and I also ordered the dirtybird with a fried egg, fries, and two of their lemonades (strawberry and the butterfly pea mango). We sat down and caught up while waiting on our food. Will say, the sandwich and fries came out super fast and were both fresh. The sandwich was so good. Loved the sauce (aioli?) that came on it and the seasoning of the chicken. Fries looked super plain, but were actually well seasoned. Lemonades were Delicious! I finished my fairly quickly and forgot to snap a pic. Donuts were delicious too of course. There was another lady there who I assumed was the manager. She did not play about keeping the store clean, which I appreciated. The hour and a half we were there, I seriously don't think she stopped cleaning (outside of taking a few orders), so you can rest assured knowing you're not going to walk into a dirty environment. Would most likely return to try the rest of the menu

But im going to be patient and push through the pain. This shop is basically a rubber stamp of all the other donut shops in the area. Usual suspects, in the usual display case. I think im looking for a different type of shop as much as the best donut. Although there are differences here and there they all feel similar in the offering. I chose a plain glazed from the case, paid and exited outside for "The Test". I was surprised at the first(here to fore refered to as the Bite) Bite. It jumped up to an 8 on the OBT-O-Meter. However, after a chew and swallow, I sensed a barely perceptible, unguent(oily) finish on the back of my tongue. Initially the first bite was really great and I was disappointed when I had to rate it a... 7 on the 1-10 OBT scale I think Ive got a three way tie at 7 on glazed donuts so,Im thinking when I break that 7 to a higher level that is the winner. It appears 7 is a good garden variety glazed donut served at most shops. We love Detour Doughnuts!…read more I live about 45 minutes from here so going often is tough but we like to come for special occasions. I came for an event one time & knew I had to bring my husband back to try it. I loved it even more the second time & he now asks every weekend to drive out there. I got the mascarpone coffee. I didn't even know that was a thing. It was my new favorite coffee! My husband got a lemonade & really enjoyed it. Not pictured here are the donut holes. I really appreciate the mini apple fritters. I've never ordered them until Detour Doughnuts because I won't eat a big one. They are the perfect size and delicious. So are the regular doughnuts holes. I think the brown sugar cinnamon roll might be the best donut I've ever had. It was fantastic! But truly all of them are great. I love the texture & flavor of everything I've tried. I appreciate that their pricing is clearly marked & set up for different portion sizes. It is a bit more expensive than normal donut shops but they are also more specialized than a basic donut. For what it is, I didn't think it was overpriced. The restaurant is small but people are pretty polite about space & not hanging out too long. The customer service was excellent! We had a good time chatting with the employee that helped us. My husband's a jokster & she handled him really well. 10 out of 10 recommended! We'll be back for sure!

From the moment I walked in, the shop felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly. I tried the strawberry matcha doughnut, and it was incredible. The dough was light, fluffy, soft, and buttery--the kind of texture that keeps you thinking about it long after you've finished. I also brought home the fig & mascarpone, crème brûlée, maple éclair, Dubai chocolate, and mango lassi doughnuts, and every single one was fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. It's clear they put a lot of thought into each seasonal and specialty creation. I also had a refreshing matcha lemonade that paired perfectly with the doughnuts. Between the quality of the pastries, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent customer service, this is a spot I'd happily recommend. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by--I know I'll be back for more.
