I have 2 Keys I needed cut. Assuming I needed both programmed. I was told over the phone that 140 for 2 keys, provided, cut and programmed. The tech came out and cut and "programmed" 2 keys. Long story short after the tech left I checked both keys and noticed that one vehicle didn't have the light for an immobilizer (I have had the vehicle for all of 2-3 days). When I called to ask why I got charged for 140 for 2 keys to be cut and programmed even though only 1 was programmed I got hit with attitude and rudeness. I also asked the tech why he plugged the scanner in but never mentioned that my car didn't even need the programming just to be told he looked into it before even getting there. The guy Ryan is a con artist and a disrespectful guy. This business will lie to you and they to get one over on you. I'm reporting this practice to the BBB and hope people will use more locally owned shops like speedys as they don't seem like crooks getting over on people. They will try to get over on you and then act like you are in the wrong. read more

This place is the bomb.com. After 2 and half hours of waiting and calling 6 other locksmiths, POP-A-LOCK to the rescue. I called the office, the lady (cannot remember her name) was so nice and helpful. She Said service help could be out in about 20-30 minutes. Which was just fine. I got a call from Charlie, who was on the way. Confirming he was 30 minutes out and on the way. Then about 10 minutes later, Charlie called back to tell me that was going to be a tad longer since there was a little traffic. Which was fine, ( heck I have been waiting this long, what's a few minutes longer?) . He got to my house, and got my house unlocked in under 5 minutes. We learned Charlie was the manager, he was punctual, kind, professional and very affordable. Especially with other quotes with price ranges from $75-$275 dollars as "estimates". So grateful for these guys and will only use them in the future. read more

My wife has locked us out of our home three times now. The first time we called PopALock. The guy was very polite, professional, opened the door without damage, and charged us about $80. The second time, we called another company, and they were also nice, but were a bit longer getting to us, and charged us a bit more. The third time has just happened. 24 Hour Locksmith came out in decent time, but used two of the blood pressure cuff type things on the door that neither P-A-L nor the other company needed those for. He damaged our door frame, and took much longer to do it (after attempting at another door), and then charged us $150 with a crappy call center that doesn't call back and keeps transferring you to different "managers" and "supervisors". Save yourself time, money, frustration. Call PopALock first. Or, if you're like my wife, call them first, second, and third!!! read more

After driving cross country and getting to our brand new house we locked the keys inside. We didn't want to deal with it that night so we went to our hotel and called and made an appointment for the following morning. The employee that was assigned was pulled away on a child locked in a car but he called us and let us know what was going on. He got there about 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment and had us inside in less than 2 minutes. We paid the price that was quoted over the phone and the entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. I would definitely use them again if I had to. read more

I locked my keys in the trunk of my car after grocery shopping after work. Needless to say, I was tired, hot and grouchy. I called two other places before I reached Pop-A-Lock. One gave me a ridiculously high quote and another wouldn't give me a quote - their technician would call and give it to me. While I waited for the technician's call, I found Pop-A-Lock. The lady who answered the phone was friendly, professional and efficient. She even had me laughing, which I really appreciated. She also gave me a quote that was almost half the quote I first received. I had been waiting 10 minutes when I received the call from the technician (the second business I called). I cancelled my request with them. Pop-A-Lock called me about 20 minutes after I spoke to their dispatcher and arrived less than 10 minutes later. They were professional, answered all my questions and quickly and efficiently got me access to my keys. read more

Great service! Address unknown as it is not on their local site, but the number is 757.827.1645. At 4:17 they quoted me a 55 minute wait time. By 5:00 we were done and I was back inside work. It should be noted that they came onto a military installation and passed their inspection all during this time. Technician was very efficient and I will use these guys again! read more

Called in a bit of chaos, needed quick service because of work schedules, was told oh yeah, just 30 mins, possibly less. Called back at 30 mins, the woman ( Deanna I believe)on the phone was rude and very unhelpful. When I asked, 3 times, if there was any ETA, she just kept repeating "they are on another call and will call when they're on their way." When I stated we couldn't wait much longer, we had to get to work, she kept repeating that one line. I gave up and hung up. Called back (we're now waiting for 45 mins), and the man on the phone was nicer and said he would request an ETA from the driver. Well now it's an hour and still nothing.... wont be using them again. read more
