At first, we thought we'd keep the old red brick coping, but at the last minute we switched to a modern dark gray brick. Best decision ever! It completely transformed the look of our backyard. As often happens with older homes, surprises came up: our original 1964 gas and electrical lines were corroded and had to be replaced. Oscar handled everything--brought in trusted contractors, coordinated the work, and saved us the headache of dealing with multiple companies. While we were at it, we upgraded our equipment to a top-of-the-line Jandy system with Wi-Fi controls, plus added a heater and automatic pool filler. Yes, the budget went up, but every upgrade was worth it. Watching the transformation was amazing. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch. The white plaster makes the water sparkle, the equipment runs quietly and efficiently, and with the heater and lights, we can swim comfortably day or night, year-round. Beyond the work itself, what made the experience so special was Oscar and his family. He's personable, honest, hardworking, and clearly cares about his craft.
