He told us the furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks which was okay. A few days later I was browsing the web and saw a much better deal online for 2 sodas instead of one, including delivery. We called the store to try and cancel the order and the person the phone was very rude and told us the web was wrong and to not trust online shopping! Then he told us if we really wanted to cancel we would have to pay them 35% fee. Which I was not told about! I told them how I was having financial issues and no longer wanted it. And yet they pushed further to Noh giving us a between deal eventually they offered a different smaller sofa and a loveseat for an extra 200 and we took it believing it was a good deal They took 2 weeks to call us for delivery date and then we weren't scheduled for a week after that! Bad service!

Due to Covid had to wait 3 mths for delivery which of course is not their fault. However the communication is horrible. You cannot call the store & ask for updates & the people who work there know nothing. All responses have to be made by Mo (store mgr) who by the way is hardly ever there. They say we will have him call you back tomorrow but NEVER does. I always had to run after him. He claims my messages were never given to him or he is so busy in the store. Really?? You got my money & now am treated horribly. Buyer beware... if you buy here you can't say you have not been warned. Oh & by the way when furniture was delivered had big chips in dresser drawer & also headboard. What a nightmare w/this store. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Our sales person was delightful and the store manager went above and beyond to assure delivery to our 2nd home in New York. Quite the opposite of a recent experience I had locally ! I had an awful experience at this particular Bassett Furniture store. I ordered an expensive bed…read morefrom them but I would not shop here ever again. First, I noticed a price drop a few days after I purchased so I emailed the saleswoman who helped me to purchase. She told me the fine print says I couldn't get a price adjustment. I hadn't even gotten the bed yet at this point. Second, when I finally received my delivery date and one hour window, I cleared the time to ensure I was home. The store didn't even call me to tell me the delivery team was running late. I had to call the store and ask the status. The man on the phone had no clue who was delivering my bed. He didn't even have the delivery companies phone number so I could call and find out status on my own. He ended up calling me back with a status. Overall, my delivery was late by almost an hour on a Saturday, which delayed me in getting to my evening plans. After everything, Bassett did nothing. Did not even apologize. Never shopping here again and never recommending to anyone.

It happened twice 2 separate times, and they had to send the same repairman out twice to replace the side boards bc my bed was half on the floor. When it happened again to the other side, the repairman said he had many problems with my original set and he suggested to me to buy a totally different one. When I spoke to management they recommended the same thing, replacing my original set. I did replace my original set with a totally different new one and different style.it cost me another $300. So far I haven't had any problems. I had to go through customer service multiple times to fix my issues which bothered me. My set was under warranty. Once I got my new bedroom set things have been fine, no problems. I went in to Bob's this time in person looking for a living room area rug. I was greeted immediately by a nice salesman. Unfortunately bc I went 2 days after Black Friday, the selection wasn't that great and couldn't find what I needed. The store was filled with many different styles and types of furniture. Bob's coordinates sofas, love seats, recliners with an area rug and accessories. It's nice to walk around and get ideas. Bob's claim they're having a sale. I feel like they mark things up to mark them down. I have bought high-quality furniture over the years and paid a premium, but that furniture has lasted me and is still in great shape. I guess you get what you pay for. If you're looking for furniture on a budget then Bob's is your place. Just make sure you know exactly what you're buying. .

However, we went to about a half dozen furniture stores looking to outfit a small studio apartment and Bob's BY FAR was the best shopping experience. Arnold understood what we needed, was respectful of our budget and made the entire experience easy.

I had been wanting this furniture for close to a year. My husband and I finally decided to upgrade…read moreour furniture but it turned out to be a downgrade. The workmanship is poor, the stitching and padding is un even, the chairs are not level with each other and after 2 service visits, I'm basically told that there is nothing wrong with it and this is what it's supposed to look like. I have had previous dual recliners and they were perfectly aligned even after 20 years. The amount of money I spent for this furniture shouldn't look like I purchased it from FB marketplace or that I let children sew the pieces together and unevenly stuff it. When i tried to leave reviews on their site after they sent me emails to review, only my positive review for the single chair was shown online. What a disappointment. I'm sure they will send the standard apology email asking to contact them to make this right but trust and believe that I've contacted them and they haven't made it right. I reserved my review until after the service visits because I'm a fair person. They won't have to worry about me for my next purchase because I can't trust the quality of their products. Sales man was a 10/10 though. I'd buy from him again if he wasn't tied to this issue. My fault is that I should have stayed home as opposed to going to work to reject this furniture as opposed to expecting someone else to notice these things. I specifically left instructions not to sign for or accept the furniture if it is faulty, but...everyone doesn't have the same attention to detail. They gave me raving reviews from home. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the heat, Bluetooth and massage features which work fine. Learned an expensively valuable lesson. If the store decides to make this right, I'll update the review. Edit... in response to the response that I received from Raymour and Flanagan , I previously sent an email to the mentioned email address this past weekend and received a response that my email was being forwarded to management, however, I have received no further contact.

The worst customer service ever!!! Paid for order in store with promised delivery date of…read more11/22/2025. Never got email phone call or text to confirm delivery. Wasted 24 hours trying to contact customer service to no end. Was put on hold multiple times after being on the line for over 30 minutes twice. Went to showroom where we placed the original order and got attitude from original sales person. They should be ashamed of themselves. Placed request for refund in person told it would take 7-10 business days to get close to $3,000 refunded for furniture that was never delivered. Just freaking awful, especially near the holidays.

All contacts were made at my initiation and every "Customer Care" representative who promised to get back to me...never did. Two e-mails to Customer Care and it's Director were never even acknowledged. 9/13/25: Ordered a chair and was promised delivery within 3 weeks. (approx. 10/10/25 at the latest) 10/27/25: Called to find out that our chair wouldn't even ship from the manufacturer until mid-November. 11/5/25: (Surprisingly) Received an e-mail from R&F that my chair would be delivered the next day (11/6) between 9a-12N and be sure someone would be there. No delivery. 11/6/25: Made several calls to finally learn that the e-mail advisory I received was an error that was due to "system transition." Canceled my order and requested a refund that was supposed to take no longer than 10 business days. 11/21/25: Learned that my refund request wasn't even submitted until 11/16/25. 12/4/25: Finally received by refund...20 "business days" later. The loooong version: On 9/13/25 we visited the Raymour & Flanigan Outlet in North Plainfield, NJ with the objective of purchasing a small pushback recliner.With the help of Sales Consultant Rose Fisher we purchased an Adahlia Push Back Recliner. Unfortunately, she informed us that it was not in stock and she would "special order it" to cut the delivery time down to 3-4 weeks. * 10/14/25 (4 weeks after order): Visited R&F Outlet The receptionist looked up the order online and indicated the chair was due to get to the warehouse on 10/18/25 and Rose would call us to schedule delivery as soon as it arrived. Never did. * 10/24/25: I stopped by the store and talked to Rose. She indicated she would investigate and get back to me that afternoon. Never did. * 10/26/25: Sent Rose a text message reminding her of promise on 10/24. Never received a reply. * 10/27/25 (11:00a): Spoke to Store Manager Antonio who, after initially having difficulty finding our chair...indicated that it would be at least mid-November before the manufacturer would be sending the chair up north to facilitate the delivery. Due to my understandable frustration with delivery, Antonio indicated he would waive the delivery charge. * 11/5/25: I received a very cheery e-mail from Raymour & Flanigan announcing that "Yay! Your order now has an exact date"..."Your scheduled delivery time frame is "Nov 06 0900 AM-12:00PM" * 11/6/25: I cancelled my activities for the day to be available for delivery. When there was no delivery during the promised 9a-12pm window, I waited until 1pm and called the 888-729-6687 number listed on the delivery e-mail. After making my way through the prompts for questions about my delivery...it went to voicemail. I left a message with my concern. Did that twice. I received no call back and...of course...no delivery. o At 1:15pm I called the R&F Outlet...and asked for Antonio who, unfortunately was off. I related my concern to Sue who attempted (without success) to contact their delivery partner. She was polite and professional; indicating that she would keep trying and promised she'd get back to me. Never did. o At approximately 5:10p I, once again, called the Outlet. Spoke to "Trisha" who, once again, was polite and professional and put me on hold while investigating. She also couldn't get an immediate answer as to the problem and promised to call me back in "a few." Never did. * 11/7/25/10:05a Called Delivery again. Had to leave a voicemail. I indicated if I didn't get a callback in 4 hours I would be cancelling my order. o 10:20a Called the Outlet and spoke to Antonio. He indicated that his information he had was that it wouldn't be arriving up north until 11/24/25...so would be delivered a few days later. When I asked (exasperated) about the conflict between the e-mail and his information, he could only offer the "system transition" as the reason...and that Sales Associates were supposed to inform customers if they saw a discrepancy. o Given the history of this order, I chose to cancel and requested a refund to my credit card. Antonio indicated it might take up to 10 business days for the refund * 11/12/25 I sent a complaint letter outlining the chain of events to "Customer Care" and the Director of Customer Care Diana Martelli. Neither "Customer Care" and/or Ms. Martelli ever responded...or even acknowledged...my concern. * 11/20/25 Sent a follow-up e-mail to Customer Care and Ms. Martelli. No response or acknowledgement of my concern. * 12/4/25: My credit card was finally credited with a refund; 28 days after it was requested!

I really had good experience with this store recently and want to share it here…read more I made a big purchase about a year ago from this store including sofa, dining set, bed (cat was not included) and drawer. It wasn't cheap but since I wanted something decent for my newly wedded home, I was willing to pay big bucks. I initially went to the store in Paramus and did not like the selection there and since the sofa was literally all out of stock, I had to call all the stores in the area. Thankfully this location had the sofa in display model and no other place wanted to sell it but this location. I REALLY love all the furniture I purchased back then. Even after a year, it's been awesome. About few weeks ago, I accidentally broke one of the dining chair. I reached out to the store to see if the warranty covers it. The chair was out of stock in all the stores. I spoke to the manager (ah I for got her name!) and she told me she will try to help. I didnt have much hope as they did not have the chair in-stock. In 1.5 weeks, she literally called me few times to follow up and came back with the new chair!! she had to call multiple locations and warehouses for locate one!! OMG! I didnt expect or hoped I can get it replaced but she really made it happen. Even about a year later, I am pleasantly surprised with the purchase and the quality of the items and their customer service. At first, she might not seems the friendliest person you ever met but once you speak to her, she really tries hard to bring your satisfaction to the best possible! Thank you again and I really appreciate the help!

Raymour and flannigan is a joke compared to this place and for those who love modern, contemporary, quality, European design, creative furniture is your go to store. From reasonable prices to high end $$$$, whatever you're looking to spend, you'll find something you'll love and will deem worth every penny. My boyfriend and I are in the process of building a home and this is going to be the only place we'll get our big furniture purchases!
