I own a paint contracting business, and have nearly 40 years of experience in this field in NJ. During all those years, I've dealt with countless people in dozens of paint stores. I can say unequivocally that Hunterdon Paint is, by far, the best of the best! From stock availability to customer service, from store ambiance to product knowledge, they are unsurpassed. In fact, I routinely bypass other stores with the same product, sometimes cheaper, to shop here! Why? It's always better to do it once than to do it over! Now, regarding color, that is the hardest part of the project! I have a color consultant on staff, and she makes a world of difference to customers. The same is true of Helen, whom Hunterdon uses for color consulting. Talented, fun, and well worth the cost to get it right. Yes, Duncan is very good, knowledgeable and personable, but so are Bill and Jack, all highly professional and dedicated to helping the customer to not only get the right colors, but to get the whole project right. Their level of understanding and commitment to the customer is unparalleled in my experience, Period! I hope Rose returns and allows them to help with her project. Everything falls into that primitive/country category, and it all works together. There are old metal tins from various products; baskets, spatterware and plain enameled bowls, spoons, plates, and coffeepots; character food jars that were made to become piggy banks after they were emptied; baskets, stoneware jugs, some china, a coffee grinder. It's a little hard to find HappiNest from Route 22, because the building is set back from the road. They're on the Westbound side of Route 22, just east of the traffic light at Route 523 / Main St. HappiNest is also accessible from Old Route 28, just before it ends at Route 22. They're only open Thursdays through Saturdays, from noon to 6:00 p.m. But it's worth a visit during their open hours if primitive / country is your thing, or even just to see a shop that is well-put-together.

He couldn't make it for the fitting but the store said they have his info. from the previous rental so I just provided with the receipt. They gave him the same size but different boots. The first hour it started bothering his ankles and sat out and didn't want to go back. It turned out, the binding strap was worn out and would not stay tight. Binding strap would loosen with any pressure from the boot. That's a major safety issue. So I ended up renting again at the resort. I told the store about it when I returned them but they didn't do anything about it. Lessons learned from my end. I thought the store would comp me for it since the boots weren't used but I got nothing.
