In NYC we don't have the luxury of a lot of space, so a shed in my backyard would make great use of being able to have additional space. I reached out to all the popular places, Home Depot, Lowe's etc. Unfortunately NONE of them would be willling to carry supplies through my home, as all of their kits come with the walls pre-built and thus unable to enter into a home that does not have backyard access. NYC backyards are always closed off! It wasn't until I came across Pleasant Run Structures and their team of experts that I realized this dream to have an extra room in my backyard could happen. The came up with a custom design that they would be able to bring through my home and into my backyard and build from scratch! Truly remarkable. Nobody else would offer this. They came Thursday morning at 7am and were finished by 2:30. It was a crew of 3, they were very respectful and considerate. They even installed the insulation I had for the flooring. I was really impressed with how fast they built the shed. Not just framing it out and laying in the ply for floors and walls, but also the vinyl siding and 6ft patio doors, roof shingling etc, wow! I was very impressed with how well they worked and how nice they all were. They wanted us to understand what was going on every step of the way with the build. Also, the quality of the materials used to make the pavilion are extremely good and solid. You can see quite clearly that this pavilion is going to last a very, very long time. To put a plainly, this company is unbelievably professional and efficient at installing pavilions. And I want to stress what a great group of gentlemen these guys were. We've gotten a patio with plantings and two shade trees through Rutgers. The reason why I wouldn't recommend this company is the quality of their support is subpar. Many of the plantings died within the first year even though they get watered daily. The trees don't grow, whereas trees we bought from other landscaping companies in the area are already taller than our house. The patio has loose pavers and the low voltage lighting doesn't work everywhere. Some lights work, others don't. When I asked about the lights, they said it's a supplier issue from China, however they've installed other patios in our neighborhood with lights. I guess it's only a supplier issue for warranty issues and not new installs. The issue with the loose pavers however is the reason I'm writing this review. When I called to asked them to come out and take a look, they told me they can't take support calls like this over the phone instead I would need to email them. I don't understand how a company that I paid thousands of dollars to for a patio won't talk to me on the phone. I now have to wait days for a reply via email. Ridiculous Also, they are going to reply to this review asking me to call them and speak to management. That's a waste of time as when I call the person on the phone will say "send us an email". Terrible.
