Matt came right out and fixed several problems I was having. Pump wouldn't turn on, heater was leaking, and LEDs went out. He fixed the pump and the heater by doing his magic (no need for replacements), and also diagnosed my LED issue, for which he and his team will do the work. A nice guy that charges fair prices and seems to genuinely care about the problem! If I need pool repairs, he's going to be my guy. Finding Matt at Pool Pros has been one of my greatest achievements this past month! After two failed attempts to find a weekly pool service that could effectively maintain our saltwater pool, I needed to hire a true pool pro to help guide us on next steps. Matt responded quickly to my request and came over the next day to assess our pool and equipment. Our salt cell needed to be replaced, which he had with him, so he replaced. Our check valve also needed to be replaced, so he ordered it for us. He also replaced a few O rings. Matt introduced us to the concept of tile bead blasting to clean off the calcium on our tiles, so I found a bead blaster to come out yesterday. I texted Matt before the tile cleaning folks showed up to see what I needed to do to prepare the pool. He immediately called me and walked me through putting the pool in service mode and turning off the auto-fill. He also recommended that we change our water since it hasn't been changed in 5 years and the water tested very hard. So I also had the pool half-drained yesterday so we could fill it back up with fresh water. I've become much more educated about pool maintenance this past month, and it's largely due to Matt. He is patient and happy to answer any and all questions. Our big pool system is no longer "scary." I now have Matt to guide us and make sure we enjoy our pool for years to come. read more

I contacted him just a couple days before I needed start up services for my new pool (because my pool company didn't tell me until then) and he was there within 48 hours to get things going and explain things to me (because I really knew nothing and my pool builders didn't do a great job of educating me). I decided to sign up for weekly servicing of my pool by Matt and his company because I felt like I would be in good hands with them, and I was right! Everyone told me that maintaining a pool is a huge hassle and I might want to rethink building one, but with Matt and Pool Pros servicing my pool, I don't have to do or worry about a thing. He's extremely responsive to all of my texts any time I have a question or concern (above and beyond really). Big fan! Helped us resolve an issue with the pool equipment. Most of all, Matt and Cesar are just really kind people. We had them come out for a startup consultation. Even over the phone, I could tell Matt had great expertise and I felt comfortable asking questions. Pool Pros is kindof like having a best friend who is an expert in fixing pool & spa equipment. I've had a half dozen companies over the last decade, the first (and best of those) was a great, old guy who sadly retired. When he told me he was closing up shop I asked him for a referral and he said, "When i meet someone in this business who i trust, I'll call you." He never called. Since then it's been a parade of nincompoops who seemed more interested in collecting diagnostic fees than actually helping fix anything. This spring i hired someone to replace my old spa pump, which was at the end of its life. He suggested i upgrade the controller so that i can control the spa via wifi. He stayed late one night to finish the job and all seemed good. I sent him a venmo and even tipped him for his willingness to work into the night. The next day I notice the spa wasn't heating. I texted my guy. I called. I texted. I called. I texted. I called. i wasn't mad... I just wanted to pay him to come fix the heater. The guy just ghosted me. It was bizarre. The problem was... i had several hundred people coming to an event at my house and I spent 2 weeks trying to get ahold of this guy. Finally, 2 days before the event i give up and look for someone else to help me. Thank the lord I found Pool Pros. The owner, Matt, called me and i explained the situation. He showed up the next morning and we quickly came to the conclusion that the rusty old original Raypak heater wasn't worth fixing and i needed a new heater. Matt ordered the new heater and installed it the next day so that I could have it working for the event. it was incredible. He also didn't charge me any kindof rush fee or anything extraordinary for dropping everything and helping me out at the last minute. I was already super happy, but it gets even better... I've had a couple technical issues with the controller the other guy put in (which was a bit jenky) and Matt came by twice to help me tweak it to work right. At no charge. Pool Pros is amazing and (although it took me awhile to get around to it) I wanted to write this review so that everybody hires them and they get that crazy level of success they deserve. I wasn't really surprised given my heater is 15 years old but still, my scam meter was blaring. We put up an above ground pool this summer and, after 2 months of balancing the water ourselves with no problems, woke up to a cloudy pool that, no matter what we did over 4 days of "fixes" (and tons of internet research), we couldn't get it to budge. Our pool heater had been broken for two weeks and our normal pool repair man kept pushing off the fix.
