We initially hired a pool guy to maintain our pool, but after a few months, the water turned green and collected algae. The previous pool guy charged us a lot of money to restore the pool to its original condition. We then found Alfonso, who assessed the water's condition and recommended an inexpensive solution that worked. Alfonso has been maintaining our pool for a few years now, and we haven't had any issues with the water since. Additionally, Alfonso has knowledge not only in maintaining pool water but also in pool equipment. When we had concerns with our pool equipment, Alfonso quickly identified the issues and provided us with cost-effective options to address them. He never tried to overcharge us for anything.

DO NOT use this company for your pool or spa!!!…read more We reached out to them for service for an above ground, ozone hot tub. When we initially discussed and agreed on service, it was made clear and agreed by Sam that this pool is not your typical chlorine tub, we have specific chemicals (that we provide!) that are safer alternatives and work for this hot tub. Sam agreed to use these and NOT his chemicals or chlorine & to let me know when we needed more. I trusted him to handle this and care for the spa - fast forward... it's clear he wasn't showing up or was showing up just to dump a bunch of chlorine into the water and then leaving. The water was all chlorine and nothing else. It was gross, the filters were disgusting and needed changing but it was never communicated that we were out of chemicals or that they needed reordering or that we needed new filters. Furthermore, our water pump is AUDIBLY broken. If he knew anything about a spa, he would have heard that and should have flagged it to us that we need to have it looked at. The water was low as well and, with a hose a few feet away, there is no excuse for this either. There's also a broken handle that was never flagged. I think he saw a hot tub that didn't get regular use and just didn't care to properly service it. I don't know what he has been doing but it is NOT maintenance. We now have to pay an additional person to come in and fix it (very costly at this point) and will be looking for anyone else for service. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! They will not listen or even do the bare minimum. You will have to micromanage and babysit to make sure that they are taking care of your pool/spa correctly. These guys do not communicate and you're better off servicing everything yourself.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after more than six months of trying to resolve this…read moresituation, I feel it's important to share my experience. Ed was recommended to me by another contractor whom I respect. Unfortunately, my experience with Ed was completely different, and I know the person who referred him has since apologized and is embarrassed by how this has turned out. I hired Ed to replace my spa heater, restore the spa shell, remove the rust stains, polish the metal handles, replace the pillows/headrests, and leave the spa in excellent working condition for my investment property, which I operate as a short-term rental. Instead, he convinced me to install a used heater, assuring me that it was "practically new" and would be an excellent unit. After the installation, the heater began releasing significant rust into the spa, staining the shell and leaving me questioning the condition of the equipment that was installed. The work was never completed. The promised restoration was never finished, the pillows/headrests were never replaced, the shell was never properly restored, and several other agreed-upon items were left undone. To make matters worse, the spa was left in worse condition than before. For the past six to seven months, I have repeatedly contacted Ed. Every time he tells me he will come "tomorrow" or "next week," but he never shows up. He has made the same promises to the contractor who referred him, yet nothing has changed. I paid over $3,000 expecting professional workmanship and reliable service. Instead, I have been left with an unfinished project, a spa that still requires repairs, and months of frustration trying to get him to honor his commitments. At this point, I have no choice but to pursue reimbursement through Small Claims Court because my attempts to resolve this matter directly have been unsuccessful. I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision.
