I've had to deal with so many incompetent Pool Repair people that it's refreshing to work with someone who's honest and does quality work. I had a problem with my pool heater and I had like two different people come replace random parts for it to just fail again. I finally got the name of Brandon who came and diagnosed and repaired the problem with a sensor. A few years past and my Home Warranty Company sent a couple of idiots to try and repair my heater by throwing random parts which of course didnt fix the problem. Unbelievable experience from start to finish. Brittany in the office was so efficient and responsive, I was immediately "in". I have an older home with a smaller gas line that needed a longer run. (Two strikes against me to start.) All other pool contractors and Leslie's told me I needed a 2" gas line which would require digging up my driveway and a larger gas meter to handle said line. Brittany, without coming out immediately had two models in mind that would work with a 1" existing line for the size of my pool. I was amazed, as I was told that there were no heaters that would work on a 1" line. She didn't have to do that, I could have taken the provided information and went somewhere else. That garnered trust on my part immediately. Brandon came out with Marcus, confirmed the recommendation, pressurized the existing gas line to make sure we weren't wasting our time on an old line, ran the new gas with no digging, hooked up the new energy efficient, top reviewed model in my BTU range and boom, I had a heated pool that had remained unheated for decades in few hours. Both Brandon and Marcus were polite, professional and congenial (OK a hoot). Not only were they prompt, fast, efficient and professional from start to finish, but my pool heats faster than any pool I've owned. 2 to 3 degrees an hour and super quiet. Finally and most importantly they saved me thousands and thousands of dollars and saved my driveway and flower beds. I also would have ended up with a heater far too large and wasteful for my size pool. Thank you to everyone at Pool Heat Pros. We have a salt water spa that can hold about 10 if you push it or 8 comfortably. We started having some issues with the Rheem/Raypak heater in July 2024. I was getting Rollout Sw Open errors and ignition failure. It was intermittent until it wasn't. I found Pool Heat Pros through Yelp. Requested a quote through their website and got a quick response - $125 for diagnosis that can be applied to the repair if you choose to go with Pool Heat Pros. This, and that they are a local business made me choose them.. I was able to get a tech (Brandon) to come out the next day. I did provide them with the model info so they had the parts ready for the most common failures of this type. Brandon knows his stuff about pool equipment, not just heaters. He kind of knew that this issue was the pilot assembly and had one on his truck. Replaced the pilot assembly in about 35 minutes. He also showed me how to configure my iAqualink controls correctly and tuned up a JVA so that it operated in the proper direction when activated. I think I got more than I paid for with the 'lessons' I learned from Brandon. Strongly recommend giving them a call for servicing your pool/pool equipment. read more

Well what can I say about a pool company that diagnosed my problem with my pool heater over the phone. Gave me a service call cost and a price on the phone all in 24 hrs. The tech arrived on time met with my wife,I was not present at the time. My wife showed him the pool equipment for him to diagnose. After 5 mins of looking he turned to my wife and said. First, Real Customer review, not some fake or sponsored thing. Second, these are the guys you want to call if you need your heater, pump, etc fixed (most listings are just "pool guys" that balance water, clean pools, and do minor repairs). I called in the morning having already figured out gas wasn't getting to the burners, ready to have to replace a gas valve. The two service techs went through diagnostics, and figured out spiders had made nests in 3 out of 5 orifices in the burners, including the the one under the igniter. They disassembled the fire box, cleaned all the orifices, and I am back in business. They told me they had brought the valve and igniter for model just in case, so they would have been able to fix that on the spot also, if it was needed. Great job with Customer Service, Diagnosing and Servicing - I will refer anyone I know who has pool equipment problems directly to them in the future. read more

They replaced our pool heater. They did a great job and it was very reasonable. We were happy with both the service and price. They even found a hidden valve we didn't know about and it turns out that it was very important. Once this was found and turned in the proper direction, our pool is now WAY more functional.
