Watkins is a manufacturer above any other. They saw it fit to include in their tubs a unique design…read morelike no other. After a few years of owning one the feature activates: it manually drains the water down over the course of the week, through leaking jet gaskets, bad glue joints, or broken fittings, causing you to have to fill it up all of the time, and this essentially allows you to never have to do a full water changeout! Brilliant! It's like those cars they design that leak oil, and require you to constantly top it off, thus you never need to do a full oil change. Brilliant! There's a reason you're paying way more for these tubs than any other manufacturer! They're brilliant! Don't bother to call the warranty department about this, it's a feature, not a bug. If you do ever want to fix this feature, just know it's nearly impossible to access any of these jets due to their placement, and the vast quantities of spray foam engulfing each one you have to chisel off with a pickaxe!

I spoke with Brandon and he pretty much explained to me that when rodents gets access to your internals, that issue will most likely be more specially chewed wires and such. So we opted to purchase a new hot tub and Brandon much gave us a quick course on spa 101. After it's delivery and an electrician wiring the new tub, we ran into an issue with the new tub. I spoke to Brandon and he explained that if the issue is wiring, they would have to charge us but if the issue is the tub, it would be covered by the warranty. About a week later, Silus arrive to our house to figure out the problem. He was professional and elaborate with us the procedure. Upon further inspection, he determined that one of the parts of the new tub was defective and it would be covered my warranty. Good to hear. I highly recommend these guys. I did some research ahead of time, but after chatting with Brian at SDHS, I knew I found an honest dealer that I felt very comfortable moving forward with. Transparency from the beginning coupled with excellent customer service was our experience. We were walked through every aspect, given options, and ultimately went with the floor model. NO REGRETS! From the excellent delivery coordination with the store's team and Bob's Crane, to the follow up after we were up and running, the process was smooth. The employees are helpful, but I often have to ask questions and ask for explanation/clarification. Leslie's carries a variety of pool and spa essentials. They also offer free in-store water testing and free in-store labor on repairs. I recommend having your water tested, especially during the warm/busy summer months. For in-store repairs, you just pay for parts. Sweet deal, but parts can be pricey. Like every other store, Leslie's has a rewards program; Leslie's Rewards Program. They offer special offers and savings...haven't seen any, yet. I signed up a year ago and during my recent visit the employee was unable to locate my account so my purchase didn't count for rewards credit. It only came to light when I reviewed my service report and noticed they were adding liquid chlorine and questioned why. The company wouldn't return calls so I called them. Joe the General Manager took ZERO responsibility and only blamed the technician, who Joe said was not very good and didn't know his job well. Additionally when I questioned the company on previous occasions as to why my spa was not being cleaned, they said it wasn't part of the contract. I've owned that pool for 12 years and EVERY pool company has always cleaned the spa when they cleaned the pool. Plus I never had a contract with company. Update: The owner of the company personally called me on this and took full ownership of the issue and apologized. The owner is a good guy and does care about his customers and the company. I am still not willing to go back to this company, but at least someone in a leadership position took ownership of the issue and apologized.

I guess that's what you get when you give feedback on overcharging. Someone who can't take the feedback and instead cuts tie. The owners use every opportunity to rip you off. I swear every single month there's some additional charge for something. Then they quote one price and charge another. The final straw was the excessive credit card fees they charge acknowledging it's the "cost of doing business". But they inflate the charges they are actually paying. Do not recommend. Also while the pool service person is fine he definitely doesn't spend enough time on the pool. Happy to be moving on to another company.
