I signed the maintenance contract with Lucky duck pool company on June/13/2025 to clean my swimming pool every week my house in City of Clearlake for $216.49 per month and I already paid them $216.49 up front as the company requested and June /17/2025 they come to my house to start cleaning the pool and then they requested another $270.60 to clean the pool at the beginning which I also paid up front already as they requested ....they took from me around over $487 to clean the pool every week now after 3 weeks my pool get so dirty and so green ! now I am so super upset and super angry about this scam situation.. this company took my money and did not do anything for last 3 weeks ... they actually stealing people's money not provide any good services! I had a pump on a fountain replaced and they also replaced the pump seal kit. The photo they sent…read moreright after the repair showed water under the unit. Makes sense, being they were working on it. Four months later, when we happened to be in the area it is hidden, we noticed water under the motor. Now instead of repairing the bad gasket, they want to charge a "diagnostic fee". This should have been under the 1 year warranty of the pump motor repair. Don't use this company. Anyone who charges a non refundable diagostic fee is a bit sketchy. Not honoring the leak on the area they repaired after four months is dishonest. I wouldn't use this company. To respond to the owner's response. Their photo never showed that there wasn't a leak after the repair. As they admit, they took it while the concrete was wet! They required the seals be replaced at the time the pump was replaced. Being the pump is in a screened location, it would be difficult to notice if there was water leaking from the replaced seal. One year would of been a reasonable warranty on this work. If the seals fail, the pump will as well. It is their right not to warranty this, but customers should think twice before selecting this company. Lastly, it is NOT "industry standard" to charge a diagnostic fee that is forfeited if you don't use their company. Most give an estimate as a courtesy to earn your business.

Of course it is Fourth of July and the pool pump stops working. My wife called numerous companies…read moreand only the Pool Boys responded. They called back and were out within two hours. Justin provides me with an estimate to replace the pump motor on the spot. He had everything needed on his truck with the exception of a new impeller. One of the other employees brought the needed part out to the house and within 1.5 hours the pool was up and running. Super service, two thumbs up!

The Pool Boys Zac and Justin worked a long day doing other jobs and even with a weather delay…read moreshowed up at 8:00 p.m. to evaluate what would be needed to complete the job. They called every time they were in route and when they were completed if we weren't at home. They installed a pump for a water slide and also programmed the slide to work with my iaqualink app. They also checked the system for other issues and got our system back up and running perfectly, including a filter cleaning. Everything currently works as I was hoping it would. I would definitely call these guys again for any of our pool supply and equipment needs. Our pool is are located in the Friendswood area.
