I have asked questions and either did not get answers or got an answer with no follow through. I was charged additional services that I didn't request or confirm I wanted. Anything that was wrong with the pool they would always blame us as if we were the ones cleaning and make us feel we were poor pool owners but they will fix with additional cost. As well knowledge of the app was very disappointing. I absolutely would not recommend and would say you're better off doing it yourself then deal with this headache. Update- Im no longer customer and 100% dealt with Johan. One of the worst experience ever dealing with him. I even followed up with the pool equipment company and everything Johan told me was pretty much wrong. He never takes responsibility and I find his knowledge of pools extremely poor to be in this business.

Good Afternoon, We are writing to inform you that we have attempted to contact you by phone several times today, and that we are sorry to hear that you have not been happy with our services. That said, we no longer believe that we are the right fit for pool service for you, and as such we will no longer be servicing your pool. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you, Venture Pool Company The level of service I've received from Venture Pool Company over the last 2 months has been completely unacceptable. I've been looking for another company to use, but to my surprise, there aren't really any with a good online reputation. I could sit here and run out of space listing all the things that have transpired, but I'll save you from that. I'm just looking for an affordable, customer centric, reliable and trustworthy company in the Spring Branch area.

my pool had a leak and since the pool had to be drained Morris was going to acid wash it. Once…read moredrained it was agreed to be replastered. First, they took the lights out of my pool and hot tub and plastered over the openings. I had to call him and he sent somebody out to fix the problem and reinstall the lights. A month later the light was floating in my pool. It took 2 months to get that fixed. It turns out my waterfall wouldn't work because of how they fixed the leak in my pool. For months Morris said he would fix it and I finally had heard enough and I hired another company to fix it. They had installed the waterfall in the first place. This started in April and its now the end of September. That's how long I waited and the cost of the repair $4,800 and when the pool was drained this time I was shown "turtle shells" where a crappy plaster job was done. I now have to take Morris to court because he won't pay for his screw ups. Less time on TikTok and more time supervising his not trustworthy employees might have helped

I had a bad experience with this service. They do not actually vacuum the pool through the skimmer…read more They have a portable "vacuum" that doesn't actually catch debris or do a decent job. The pool stays mostly clean, so I wasn't a stickler about vacuuming each time anyway. But he wouldn't even vacuum it when he created a big DE spill mess into the pool after he failed to properly clean the filter. He was paid to clean my DE filter when I was there in order to observe but he refused to let us know when he was doing it twice. I'm a retired pool tech so I knew the mess that could be made if it's not done correctly. Sadly, I ended up with a pool full of DE. I called him back and again he came when we weren't home. He sent me pics that he had opened the filter, but we still had DE coming into the pool. (Kind of like throwing a vacuum cleaner bag back onto carpet! On the third time we called him over to open the tank, as I was watching him open it, he actually said, "If I'm being honest, there are some holes in the grids." This was the problem and the whole time I had a complete set of new grids there ready for him to use! Almost every grid was compromised with a hole or broken spines. He was an epic fail at filter cleaning and customer service and cost us a lot of time and effort that we paid him for. I always had to fix little things he could not or would not handle. They once left my automatic controller door open in the rain, which is a novice thing to do and could have been very expensive to us. He said he was refunding our payment for the filter clean and month of service fee we had just paid him when we terminated, but he did not follow through on that either. He actually quit after just being paid in advance for another month because he just doesn't like to cooperate with the customer or have it pointed out that he isn't treating us right. He sent a picture of the credit via email that he said he would refund, but he never applied the credit back to us. They refuse to reply when reminded of the credit we deserve. Big scam and waste of time and money with this outfit. What makes it even worse is that he purposely does not do a good job!! Only gave one star in order to post this warning.

I called Mark as soon as the power was back on - needless to say he was busy they were out within a couple of days. He personally checked the equipment provided various options for me to select from. Once decided the equipment was secured and beautifully installed. He oversaw the installation and we chatted where he shared his focus on family and his commitment to not do business on the weekend and devote that time to family - I was impressed!! Two years later the pump motor starts eating capacitors then fails completely (on a Saturday of course) so I call Mark knowing he won't answer on the weekend but will return the call promptly on Monday which is exactly what happened. He had a technician out the next morning to look at the pump and confirm it was a warranty issue, he then worked with the manufacturer to get a new motor out and installed at zero cost to me. He communicated with me daily on the status of the parts, worked with the vendor to get a motor expedited and get me back online. All in all and excellent experience! To the reviewer who complained that they do not respond to pool "emergencies" on the weekend I have to shake my head - it's certainly a first world problem to consider not having a pump system running on your personal pool over the weekend an "emergency". I applaud Mark and his team for not only their work but their appreciation of and support for their families - no one will die if your pool system is down for the weekend (the water will still be there)

They are definitely not the cheapest but we felt like we were paying for quality service. (Although Mark refuses to respond to emergencies on the weekend since that is "his time".) Other than that, everything was going well. Until recently, Unified was out cleaning the pool and the technician for some reason couldn't get the spa blower to turn off. Well the circuit board had short circuited. Thankfully we had someone here remodeling our bathroom and he was able to help the technician get it off. Mark arrived and reasoned that our variable speed motor that he advised us to purchase and was installed by him was not getting the power it needed. He stated and I quote "when he installed the motor for us they didn't know that the amps in the breaker box needed to be 20 and we only had the motor on a 15amp. (Well hell it's your job to know that before you install NOT mine.) Our circuit board had shorted out and needed to be replaced for $1500+. In addition we needed to run a new line from the breaker box to the pool because we had to up the amps and that was another $3000+(not an electrician so lingo might be a bit off). We advised Mark that he didn't let us know about the electrical side that was needed and asked him if he would offset some of the cost since now we have to pay for both a circuit board and to run the line! This man said he will have to back out and discontinue our services! He canceled our services and left us with a pool that we couldn't turn on. I simply couldn't believe it.
