Cutest Pooch.

Poochie Barber has my pooch looking dapper every time. I love that their consistency and professionalism. I spoil my baby and want only the best for him. Well, we get that here and will be a forever client.

Today I brought buddy to Poochie Barber for his grooming and I have never been more pleased. My appointment was for 9 o'clock this morning and they had him ready to go home around 10:30. They did a fantastic job well aware of the problem that I had with my previous groomer. They were extremely gentle with buddy and took very good care of him. I will recommend Poochie Barber to all of my friends for all of their grooming needs.

Absolutely love this place! We have been taking Benji monthly ever since we got him and they have never disappointed us. Our dog is an Australian Shepherd so I know all that hair takes time grooming but he always comes out looking fabulous and festive!

I was very disappointed in Poochies. My dog was butchered. Every other dog that left looked amazing! I showed her a pic of what look we were going for on our dog. I should have known when I showed her the pic and she barely glanced at it. My Sadie is a mini golden doodle, 6 months old. I let them know this would be her second grooming experience. She told me that it usually takes 3 visits for puppies to be comfortable with the groomer. I asked her IF Sadie let her groom her, would she do it? She said yes. So Sadie let her groom her and I got a choppy mess. They even cut her long, beautiful eyelashes. If they couldn't do a good job, they shouldn't have groomed her.

Poochie barber is the absolute greatest place! The workers are so sweet and caring! My pups love going there and I love seeing their new cute cuts!

They always leave my yorkie looking adorable! I love what they do to his his face to get all the hair away from it and make him look like a little lion. Staff is very nice and great at their job!

Just adopted Buddy and was in need of a whole new make over. Picking him up, I couldn't believe how handsome Buddy was under all that Fur!! They did a wonderful job! So to Karen and the girls thank you so much!

This is probably one of the best barbers for your dog in the Chicagoland area!! My dog, Teddy, is usually a happy and playful dog, but when taken to Petsmart a few times before, he's usually ready to sleep and is tired for a few days. Teddy came from Poochie Barber and was instantly ready to play, go for a walk and ate! His haircut was perfect and he was taken care correctly!! I recommend this place to anyone who has an animal in need of a haircut!!

He looks so good!

If you don't want to see malls and jobs disappear, shop local! The pet store is well-kept and clean, and the adjacent & connected animal hospital is a bright and cheerful area at the front. The coolest part: on Aug 11, 2019 they had Halloween displays up already. Instant 5 stars. It doesn't stink like a barn, the animal housing was clean, and so was the human bathroom. That's significant because it's evidence of a conscientious team. These are the people you want to take care of pets. The staff was attentive, communicative, and eager to help. There were a lot of employees all over the store to cover any questions. This company is doing the right stuff to compete with online retail: Clean store, plenty of well trained and communicative staff, and a wide variety of food and other supplies. Most of the cats were napping. The two cats that seemed to be in the process of adoption by families were alert, curious, and not hiding from the grabby children. The fish were aloof so they will probably never get adopted. They get no sympathy from me with that attitude. The aquarium furniture was so cool I'd love large versions in every room of my place. Remember the pirate skeleton draped over the moving treasure chest lid? PetSmart doesn't have that. That was from the the 1970s--maybe earlier--so no points were deducted. They had a lot of lizards. There was no evidence of cannibalism, so that's good. Last but not least, I visited the birds. They were active and happy, or sound asleep. There was a pet shop off Clark street that had a bird room I'd visit regularly. I wore a yellow t-shirt and a floppy fishing hat for their benefit and they seemed to appreciate the gesture. They'd hop on my finger for short rides up and down the cage, and bite the brim and chin strap of my hat. Good times. Birds don't belong in cages. Free the birds! And shop in brick and mortar stores. Are you gonna put kids out of work and have malls close so you can save a few bucks on cat litter?

Take your pet anywhere but here, I won't write a long review just look at the photos…read more Cost me $127 for her to look like this. Staff do not care, and my dog came home with a limp, no idea what the did to her.
