My 4 month old Shih Tzu was matted and needed grooming. We took him to Pampered Pooch and the ladies did a wonderful job although he was not easy to work with. I think he knows he looks cuter than before we took him. We will definitely be back. Thanks ladies.

Second time Wendy did a fantastic job on my Golden Doodle Gus, he's about a year and a month old here, taken today.

Wendy did an amazing job with my Golden Doodle Gus, he is quite the handful, he had really bad matted fur and his nails were so long, I cannot say how great of a job she did. I mean just look at his picture! He looks so handsome!

    Kole fresh from the groomers!

Great place to take ur pet for grooming! Patty is the best! Kole was attacked by a pit bull last year and we almost lost him. We took him to the hospital immediately and he had surgery. For the next week it was 24/7 care. I turned my living room into a hospital. It was Intensive Care for Kole. My husband, daughter (Kole's Mom) and I had the night shift, walked, watched and cared for Kole. This is the results. A couple of marks under all that black hair, but he's 100% back to normal! Thank God! And Patty was the only one we trusted to groom Kole during his recuperation period! She is fantastic!

I told them I wanted a puppy cut with Schnauzer face and fluffy tail. The last time he was groomed was just before I moved to the Beverly area about 10 weeks ago. I told them I brushed Bullet every night, he had some matting and those crusties around his eyes. While waiting to pick him up, I could hear Bullet whining terribly. I questioned it, and was told he was just a bit anxious because it was his first grooming there. A groomer brought a little black dog out, and I thought, "Aw, cute dog but really skinny." I didn't know it was my Bullet, until he jumped up on my lap. I was horrified, day the least. When I asked what happened, I was to,d he was matted all over, he didn't like being cut, and they had to shave him!!! The groomer said his face fur came off in one piece as she shaved him. What the hell. I'm attaching "before and after" pictures of Bullet so you can understand why I've given such a poor rating and why I will NEVER bring Bullet anywhere near that place again. Not only does he look like a hairless cat, my sweet, cuddly baby who loves people and other dogs, is now skittish and scratches himself almost non-stop.

We would always book an extra large suite with patio access allowing the dogs to go in and out of a doggie door all day long and they had plenty of room within the suite and would have some yard/playtime, depending on their temperament. And a place that can handle all his medications. After several failures, I was referred to this location through Shelton's adoption center, One Tail At A Time. He has never been so calm and chill, leaving boarding, too bad I missed a video opp! Typically he is all ball of anxiety, this is also the first time he's gone straight to sleep after arriving home!! Checking in, the staff said, "if you don't hear from us, that is a good thing." I was a bit skeptical, but that was a true statement! They called when something was right with his poop when there was extra medication in his bag and to inquire about his toys. I appreciated the ongoing communication, and judging by the report card, he loved the team. I was side-eying the $88 a day (with a private patio), but it is worth the price (esp if your pet is non-animal friendly). The basic suites are spacious for a short stay.

This is my fourth and final time going to furry friends grooming with my shih tzu and Maltese…read more every time I go, they are never groomed as I ask, nor do they have a nice smell they just smell like soap. When I got there today i was met at the front desk by the owner's granddaughter. The owner's granddaughter asked me for my name. I gave it to her. She came back and stated there was nothing on the calendar. For me, then she asked what my pet's names was. I told her she checked again and still I was not on the calendar. She informed me that there was nothing on the books for me and she couldn't see my dogs due to them. Being overbooked, I explained to her that she was the one that wrote down on the card for me to come back today. She totally overlooked that. And she said, well, unfortunately, we're over staff today with over 20 dogs. My grandmother has a shoulder injury and we had a call off and I felt as though instead of giving me all those excuses all she had to do was say, I apologize for the misunderstanding. But I'll be happy to take your dogs and instead it was almost like I was begging her to take them. And she kind of had an attitude of like she was doing me a favor instead of correcting an error that happened on her. And the groomers part, not mine, I felt this was extremely unprofessional, and it was very rude and not very respectful of my time as I do not live close to the place I live almost 30 minutes away, but she totally overlooked that like it didn't matter. And just went too well. If we take them, it's gonna be half the day. I don't know when you would get them back very rude. I was not happy at all with me. Being the customer, it should have just been a little bit more courteous. Even though they have a fair price that they charge for grooming, they are extremely unprofessional. Not to mention the place smells like urine. I also feel as though this place is racist because I was African American. I don't think she treated me as nice as she could have her or the owner very rude and unprofessional. I will never bring my dogs back here again. Please be careful if you are an African American as they will treat differently not to mention you never see the owner so you don't exactly know who is grooming your dogs.

***disclaimer to make a long story short their prices and policy's suck read below why I think…read moreso*** (over 4 year user of Bev lab) Initially I was going to give a 2 star rating but upon seeing the prompt "could be better" vs the one star "not good" I decided not good was exactly how I was feeling about my visit today. I went in with my elderly cat (18 years) because she has been pooping out of her litter box, and for advice regarding her ageing /care... A little further background my cat had also been vomiting about 2 weeks prior to the visit which further caused concern... ultimately I wanted a uranalysis to be sure this isn't an infection, and some recommendations for arthritis. I know bevlab has a policy about not even touching a pet until they are vaccinated for rabies.... I've experienced this before a story I will expand on later in my review.... HOWEVER I was told by a Tec that due to her advanced age it would be at my vets discretion. well the vet came in and started her exam without vaccinating her or even mentioning it so I thought I was in the clear, boy was I wrong at the end of the exam she very quickly and without confirming it was ok said it was a requirement and did it... Mind you rabies vaccine can be gotten free or at a heavily discounted rate elsewhere which I have gone and done before...AND my cat literally does not leave my house, this visit was the first in years... this policy is purely for monetary gain... 50 something for the shot, 6 for the tag, and 6 for medical waste fee... Moving on, rather then listening to my concerns of an infection I was gas lit by the vet who thinks she could be in the litterbox but just missing, since most of the piles are on the litter mat outside the box... mind you this is a mostly closed box with the poo about a foot from the entrance in neat piles...so it didn't roll there either... well since the vet didn't think infection could be a thing, fair enough I'm no vet I just thought maybe and would have paid for the test to sooth my mind, but no she went to address the arthritis. The first rec was a full panel bloodwork up for a new injection they've been trying out to see if she would be a good candidate... and 2-3 shots that would be given over the next 3 months.... sounds expensive I didn't even ask how much..... next was a supplement that they offer 1 pill a day till 4-6 weeks and then 1 every other day... 40 dollars. wont see results till 4-6 weeks and then ill run out right after meaning ill have to go back for more what every two months.... Honestly I was hoping for some talk of proper diet/nutrition, an over the counter supplement I could get when I buy her food... not everything needs a damn prescription. my visit lasted 15 min, 20 tops... 75$ was the "exam" fee.. my total at the end 170 and some change... for a 15min exam a bottle of supplements and a rabies vaccine she didn't need. I'm not broke either if I felt like my animals care and health was their concern Id GLADLY pay.. *** more on rabies and why this place is out for your money not your pets health*** About a year ago I had an incident where one of my dogs ate rat poison a neighbor had laid by the fence line not knowing some had fallen on my side. I called Bev lab immediately hoping they could get him in.... This was during covid policy's still being in effect mind you no other vets office was accepting new patients and quite frankly emergency vet bills are just unaffordable... I called requesting that both the dog (luffy) I saw eat rat poison and my other dog(jenna) whom I didn't see but had access to the poison be seen. They didn't have openings at first but called back and had room to see one of my dogs after a cancellation.. I picked luffy as I had seen him eat the poison... Before they made him vomit they immediately vaccinated him for rabies. He vomited up the pellets, and was sent home with vitamin k which is the general treatment for most rat poison... mind you they wouldn't give me more for my other dog Jenna who may or may not have eaten rat poison because they didn't see her... vitamin k will not harm the dog if given without having been seen... but ok... this is after having seen that my other dog luffy had indeed vomited up pellets mind you... Anyways I gave my dog jenna some of luffys vitamin k that night and took her to the walk in hospital in Orland... I told the vet right away that "I know she needs the rabies vaccine so I suppose ill at least get that done today but I really just need more vitamin k as she may or may not have eaten rat poison" that vet was super kind, did his exam, and said he would give her the rabies vaccine on her next visit as he wanted to make sure it didn't interact with possible rat poisoning plus if anything happened to her he didn't want me paying extra!!! I was so relieved at the time I felt like my pet truly mattered and that money was second! both my dogs survived and jenna was vaccinated later.
