I was very disappointed in Poochies. My dog was butchered. Every other dog that left looked amazing! I showed her a pic of what look we were going for on our dog. I should have known when I showed her the pic and she barely glanced at it. My Sadie is a mini golden doodle, 6 months old. I let them know this would be her second grooming experience. She told me that it usually takes 3 visits for puppies to be comfortable with the groomer. I asked her IF Sadie let her groom her, would she do it? She said yes. So Sadie let her groom her and I got a choppy mess. They even cut her long, beautiful eyelashes. If they couldn't do a good job, they shouldn't have groomed her. read more

I was recommended by a friend. I called for an appt and gave her the type and weight of my dog. She quoted me a price of $80-85. First time with this groomer, I wasn't satisfied with her attitude. She talked at me not to me. After the service I noticed that my dog's face was cut on the bridge of his nose. I explained to her that he wasn't evenly groomed. She also scuffed his inner thigh. brought my chihuahua mix into poochie barber...the lobby smelled faintly of cigarettes, but i assumed it was because it was on someone's clothes possibly. They did a great job with the grooming. My dog had just been adopted and had of knots in his hair, so they did a great job. Although I had called prior to the appointment to request package pricing. They said it shouldn't be to much I had to pay $65.00. At petsmart I get charged $40. They always do great there as well, but they waiting time for our usual groomer was 2 month wait. I'd rather next time, instead of paying an extra $25 they were a little rude as well on arrival the girl kept mumbling I asked her to repeat herself and she gave me the stink eye. Yikes. read more

My dog Cooper a Shih tzu mixed with a king charles cavalier and my mom's dog which is a maltese. Went their today and they did a great job on both of the dogs. They smell so great.
