I have two Australian shepherds and since I've moved it's been difficult to find a groomer that knows how to cut and shape their coats. I took my 7 year old dog Storm here for the first time today. I have always cut her nails myself. Unfortunately, I cut one nail too close recently and she has not allowed me to cut her nails since. I've been battling with my dog for a few months. I was desperate to have her nails cut. I read great reviews here in regards to trims so I decided to try them out. I am so greatful for my experience with these women today. My dog has never been to a groomer. The process was seemless. They let me hold her while one of the associates clipped and then ground her nails. The associates were very warm and did the best to make my dog comfortable. In fact, the employee that did the trim educated me on trimmings. She stated that if my dogs nails were trimmed more often, the veins would become shorter. I never knew this! I am so grateful that I found We're Nuts About Mutts. I have two fur babies, Princess and Tazer. They had their first visit for a bath and nail clipping with Carly and Cindy this past week. Both of my babies had a most wonderful experience with them. How do I know? Because they were happy and calm after their time there. When my little Princess would have her nails clipped at the vet's office in the past, she would cry out in pain every time. Whenever I would try to touch and caress her paws, she'd pull them away not wanting to have them touched. Cindy used the grinder instead of a clipper, and Princess did great and didn't even cry at all. Now when I go to caress her paws, she doesn't pull away at lets me massage them. Went to get my dog groomed there one of the worst places to go. The owner was telling me that my dog is under weight. And how I need to take better care of my dog. Went to kriser's natural pet. Asked on the the groomers there if he was under weight and she said that boxers supposed to be more thinner because they are more of a sport:active dog. Booked online 2 weeks in advance to get my dog groomed. They called me the morning of and told me they can't accommodate me and that I booked too late in the day. That was the only time slot available online. Very rude on the phone. They won't be recieving my business in the future. Maybe get a Manager that can better organize your clients. Very good at what they do! Super professional and treats the dogs like their own. I have a 120lbs Shepherd who isn't the easiest to deal with and also has really bad anxiety! Once i left he was done within 2 hours or so and he was super calm when i came back to pick him up. Both ladies are very trust worthy. It's a small cute little shop very intimate. So if you're looking for a home feelings and a safe place to leave your pet I honestly couldn't think of a better place. She doesn't take too many dogs at a time so she definitely focuses on pets there more so than corporations do they take a lot of dogs at once, which is a plus because she usually gets dogs out within 2 hours or so!
