I'm dog sitting for my brother in law and needed to get the dog a bath and haircut. I found this place because I couldn't get an appointment where he told me to go. I'm so happy that I didn't get that appointment. They did an amazing job. I was asked how did I want her haircut and I told the owner to do what she feels is best because she does this. I'm very pleased and I will continue to bring my dog niece there as long as I have her with me. And my dog niece was only there for 2.5 hours. read more

I still paid her however she kept repeating she has been cutting hair for 40 years. This place is horrible as well as well Audrey and her assistant. If you're looking for a bath and scalp you have the right place but if you have a dog with special cuts pass her by. Audrey is obnoxious,pretentious, and degrading. Her assistant is a liar. I took my two miniature schnauzers three times each time she was very rude but each time I said I would try again cause she was so reasonable in price (you get what you pay for) However the very last time was the end. I don't know if due to covid she does not let her clients in through the front but you have to park in the back and her assistant come out and get them without you ever seeing the inside. Then she ask you to walk your dog in the alley before they come in. Might I add the alley is baited for rodents. Then she has these dog bowls with stale water with flies, bee's etc dead floating in it. The very last time I specifically informed her assistant that she do not cut their skirt and make their eyebrows angry. Once again I picked them up scalped. Knowing full well she did not give the service I requested she had the audacity to increase the price. I told Audrey this is not what I asked for and she told me with confidence yes it is and that her assistant wouldn't lie because she's an ex-judge. So basically I'm the liar. To shorten this already long story I paid her what I would normally pay her. She told me I "stole a grooming". Please know her prices are VERY reasonable and she knows it and because of it she has an attitude of I am going to talk and treat people however I want to and they're going to accept it. She's so horrible I'll recommend Petco before I ever recommend anyone to trust her. Just sad, I wish I could have given a negative star rating cause she doesn't even deserve one star. read more

A friend recommended that I take my dog here promising me that the owner Audrey does a great job. Now I have to agree with the other yelper (Edtra F.) she does a great job with the grooming but I have to rate this business at 3 stars because she takes the entire day which is way way way too long to groom a dog! She purposely over book herself with dogs for the day so dogs are randomly walking around the place (which may be good for their social skills) but I don't like that she has dogs walking around hours in filthy hair from the days work and possibly urine.The place is very unsanitary! Although, she does a great job grooming my cocker spaniel, my dog probably has separation anxiety by the time I pick her up simply from being in there 8+ hours. I drop her off at 9am and she is not done until 7-8pm. So she spends the day walking around in filth & when she is cleaned, she is left to walk back around the business in that same filth of dirty hair and other dog droppings. Audrey is going to continue to lose business if she does not stop over booking and taking 8hrs to groom dogs. read more

Although Audrey does a good job, she does take a long time. I stop bringing my pups to her because their 8 a.m. appointments were over around 9 p.m., which is unacceptable. Also, I wasn't OK with the dogs just roaming and lying in the hair from the day's work. Audrey was always nice and gave helpful tips, but Lord & Taylor would run to get out of there, so we never went back. Sorry Audrey. :-( read more

For several years I took my two dogs to Beverly Pet Pro Pride. The shop was close to my house and Audrey was a soft-spoken, patient groomer who seemed to be the perfect fit. She kept them looking nice and clean with her every six weeks discount plan. That all changed when I couldn't get out of my garage during the February 2021 big snow. I called her the day of the appointment and apologized that my dogs would need to reschedule. She anxiously complained that I should given her advanced notice and that she would be losing the money of two clients. I again apologized but this was an unexpected cancellation because I couldn't get there due to the unusually heavy snowfall. I asked for another appointment and she furiously replied that she would not have anything for six more weeks. I blurted out, without thinking that she would be offended, that I guessed would have to take them elsewhere because six weeks was too long for them to wait. She shouted, "You're going to take them to another groomer?" I replied that I would have to because their dander gets to my allergies if I have to wait that long. She slammed the receiver and hung up on me! I called back to try to smooth things over, but she would not answer. Who does that???? I got another groomer to take them the next week and have since found a much better groomer who doesn't keep my dogs all day and half the night at a much cleaner, nicer and more professional place in Chicago Ridge. read more

This groomer is absolutely HORRIBLE !!! We dropped our dog off at 12:00 and could NOT pick her back up until 8:45PM...outrageous! Then when my boyfriend brought her home I couldn't believe her haircut! It literally looked like a child had groomed her. She's a long haired dog and only her back was shaved low. Her side's and belly still were long in SOME places. Her face only had been tended to on the left side, and her legs weren't touched at all! She had the dog for almost NINE HOURS for a butcher's job, smh!! The place was FILTHY and her work is terrible!!! I will never take my Hunni back there! I didn't even want her to fix the problem because the fact that she was ok with sending ANY dog home in that condition, speaks on her quality of care (or lack thereof). Don't traumatize your dog by taking them here, this groomer SUCKS and she close this business!!! read more

So unprofessional. We dropped our 6 month old shitzu off to be groomed at 3pm. It's now 930pm and he's STILL not ready. We just knocked on the door and asked about him and a man came to the door and said wait another 15 minutes and closed the door in our face! SO RUDE! Not very happy with Audrey right now ,have gave multiple chances to get together.Sometimes she does like you ask but other time it hard as hell to get thru to her.She never have my little Yorkie ready when I go it's always keeping 6hr or more one time I drop her @2p and she was ready until 11:30 that night.I don't what she did this time it doesn't look like she trimmed her at all ,her is shading she is scratching none these things before she went.I had to put her in the basement sink in warm and rub almond oil on her to clam this scratching and shading.Im done read more

This place is the worst! It's also called Audrey's Pet Grooming/Beverly Pet Grooming. Audrey is the owner and she has a bad attitude. Customer service is out the window. In fact, I called to confirm my dog's appointment then inquired about how many dogs she was servicing that day. She got an attitude and up hung on me..yes hung up. Is it unreasonable to inquiry about why it takes 8 hours to groom a dog? He had a 9 am appointment..first dog through the door but wasn't ready until 5pm ...yes 5. She is cheap on price..but I guess you get want you pay for because she schedules more dogs than she has people to service them. I think it's cruel to keep the dogs confined to a small area for an extended period of time..at least my dog. She has seen the last of my business. read more

I can't believe I just discovered Audrey! My Brussels Griffon has deux claws and I just took it for granted in the past that he would always hate getting his nails trimmed. Usually when I take him to pet co or even other boutique groomers he yelps and cries whenever they trim his nails and it was so heartbreaking. Audrey let me come in last minute after 5 on a Sunday, the nail trim took all of 3 minutes and looked and sounded painless. I could not have been more pleased, I can't imagine taking bailey anywhere else. Did I mentioned she charged a ridiculous 2 dollars!? read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Audrey. She is very accommodating! I've had 2 Golden Retrievers who both came out looking absolutely Gorgeous. Yes, it might take a full day, however, I was able to run errands and do whatever I needed to do before picking my babies up. When I called her to tell her I had to put them down (on separate occasions), she cried with me and was heartbroken each time. She had come to love them just as I had. My 2nd one was a bit stubborn and I always had problems getting him inside of the shop, however, she came out to help me once and he immediately calmed down and walked in with her. She is patient and kind and I think she is a dog whisperer. I have been to other places who were quite expensive because of the size, and they did not do half as good of a job as she did. Needless to say, she is EXTREMELY reasonable and is worth much more than she charges. I'm about to get another Golden (or whatever I end up getting), I am going to go right back to Audrey. The shop is not large and often she works with minimal help so sometimes it does take longer, but I never had a problem with that. She will have my support for as long as she is in business and I will refer my friends and family there. Once my husband and I had an affair to go to and was going to have to leave the event early, but Audrey told us to take our time and enjoy. Although we did not stay out late, it was nice to have her make that offer. My baby was not treated like a dog or a number. So you have some hair flying around. Never bothered me. She was extremely careful though if a dog had fleas or anything that could harm the other dogs there. When I would go pick him up, they were all happy and would come running to greet us at the counter. I'd place an enormous wager that your dog is in good hands with Audrey. But if you are one that places the toilet sheet covers on the toilet, yet leave it there so others have to dispose of it before they use the bathroom, then this place is not for you. My family took our dog there for years, unfortunately. The dog would be there for 8+ hours and was never " ready", thirsty and needed to relieve herself. The place is filthy and I don't know how Audrey stays in business. We started taking our dog to another grooming facility and it took only a couple of hours. Our dog is happy, comfortable and loves it there. I feel like we put her through hell at this place. read more

It's true, Audrey does overbook. She will say four hours when in fact it may turn out to be six or eight. But if your pet is emotionally stable, with little to none OCD or anxiety quirks, this is the place for him or her. Grooming is second to none, and the love and dedication is top shelf. I've never had full blown grooming done here, but do take very anxious pugs with breathing problems to Audrey for nail clippings. Audrey is very accommodating and I'm convinced she's a dog whisperer. I honestly don't understand where these other reviewers are coming from. We've been taking our dogs to Audrey for years. Every pet seems to really enjoy the "spa days" there. Sure, they may be away from home longer than with some other groomers, but our dogs have always come home happy and clean. Several friends and neighbors who also take their pets to Audrey share our experience. We joke about the length of time it takes, but I think a good measure of how pets are treated is that our dogs always seem excited about going to the groomer. read more

My dogs have been groomed by Audrey for years. She has always been professional and warm towards our dogs. In addition, she does an amazing job with them. The products she uses are top of the line and she takes a great deal of care and time with them. Granted, sometimes they are their for a long time, but, that is because of the attention to detail she takes in grooming each and every dog. I might agree it takes all day sometimes for my dog to be ready. But my 11 year old dog has been going there since he was a pup and loves it. He might come home tired but you can tell he has had a good time. She is such a dog lover she spends quality time with the dog while grooming him. Although we have moved 400 miles from the Chicago area we schedule doctor and dog grooming appointments with her and make the trop back. Her grooming our dog is as important to us as our doctors! read more
