In the end, the project took 6 weeks. For a simple patio, a small dog run and a rock weed barrier. Lucy tried to sneak fees in and without my approval, had her workers rip out 2 of my bushes. After complaining, they replanted them days later but the plants did not survive. They also damaged my drip system (they did fix it after I brought to their attention) also, the workers left trash in the yard. John was kind and understanding but I will continue to tell my neighbors to stay away from them.

We chose AVR because Alex was patient, listened to our ideas, and gave us helpful advice. When the size of rocks we wanted was not available, I was willing to use larger ones. But Alex took the extra time to find the exact size we wanted. This was our first landscaping project, so we had many questions. Alex was always friendly and helpful. He also carefully checked the pavers on our patio to make sure they were level and water would not collect. Our project included three walkways, garden bed borders, a paver patio, and a large Japanese-style rock garden. After a year, everything still looks great, and the maintenance has been manageable. We really appreciate Alex's patience, hard work, and attention to detail. We highly recommend AVR!

I checked the yelp reviews for landscaper designers and consulted with a friend who recommended calling Terrain Creations. What a difference, Juan actually answered my phone call, came by my house promptly and worked with me on designing something for my front yard. From start to finish, Juan and his crew were there on time everyday, removing the old yard, repairing the sprinkler systems, planting new plants and installing artificial grass. Brandon, Amanda, and their crew did a fantastic job with our backyard…read more Brandon is truly gifted when it comes to design. He worked with us very patiently and you can tell that he views every project as an opportunity to dream up something new - I.e., he doesn't just apply a cookie-cutter design to every backyard based on budget. He really cares and demonstrated that throughout the design/construction process. He does have his own unique "style" when it comes to materials and we were very impressed. Personally, I haven't found another contractor in the area who puts out a product that looks as high-quality as Brandon's does. Amanda kept everything smooth on the backend and was consistently checking in with us to make sure things were going well. We ended up splurging on some pavers and it was the best choice we could've made. They're really stunning and add such a premium look to our backyard. That along with sod, rock, mulch, some concrete for our side yard, and a really nice plant selection mostly curated by Brandon. Reliable will be our first contact for any future landscaping needs and we would recommend them to anyone in the area.

I can't say enough good stuff about Olympus Pointe Landscaping and the work they did at our new…read morehome (new constructions off of Blue Oaks in Roseville). We had a multi-stage job involving patio concrete, dog run area and then after a pool was installed he returned to complete full landscaping and irritation for both our front and back yard. Pictures are attached. I'm notoriously hard to earn "5 star" reviews on, because I always think there are ways people can improve, and I also think the way the internet reviews work - it often feels like you're obligated to give 5 stars... this is NOT the case here. Kevin and his team earned every bit of these 5 stars, and I'd wholeheartedly refer him to anyone who needed work done. I'll lead off by saying I first met Kevin when we had him out to bid some repair work a previous contract ruined at our home. Unfortunately at the time Kevin had several high priority jobs and wasn't able to help - but his customer service really caught my attention and I filed his contact information away. 2 years later when we moved, he was the first person I called and I'm so glad I did. He remembered who I was, prioritized getting together again to bid the work, and got after it. If you want someone whos going to truly partner with you, and help you figure out the best way to create your "area" - Kevin is that guy. He's got a great balance of function and art in the way he approaches building his projects. The biggest struggle we had with previous landscaping bids was that there are a lot of people who will do the work - but not a lot that will help you figure out the "design" aspects. Kevin was INCREDIBLE in this regard. He was constantly patient, helped us weigh our decisions, gave us practical feedback on ideas, offered tweaks - but also took direction when there was specific things we wanted. The end result is feeling like our backyard is beautiful and unique, but also very functional for our family. I have so much pride in our backyard, and theres this corny feeling that I know i'll always think fondly of Kevin and his team because as my kids grow up (8 and 6) they'll keep enjoying the space we created for them in the backyard. Functionally - Kevin brought a lot of diversity into our backyard. Hard rock intelligently used to separate the pool area from the softer landscape areas. Specific bark used for longevity. Trees selected with specific goals of creating privacy. Plants placed for balancing in the area. All of this on top of managing irritation effectively. It was a large project - and nothing felt "overdone". It came out just feeling... perfect. Work wise - his crew was extremely polite and kind. They worked quickly each time. Each one of our project sections was roughly 5 days, which is incredible given the amount of work they were accomplishing each time. They checked in often, kept in contact, cleaned up after themselves - and I always trusted that they were going to get the job done. The final thing I'll say is that its hard to find people who you feel like care about every job they work on. Kevin is the definition of that kind of person. Thanks Kevin for all the work you did and continue to do!

It was clear he understood what was going to be required for my twice monthly service. I have a yard that requires very little maintenance except for winter pruning of shrubs and 3 small crepe myrtle trees. It has taken them 3 months to respond to my requests to do what they promised. When the two workers come each time, I discuss what is required based on my agreement, and several times they have told me "next time." After several visits and the "next time" as promised does not happen, I had a talk with the workers. So this last time they responded with pruning 2 of the trees, butchering them, and the 3rd tree they left have unpruned! Seriously??? Also the two "next time" other items were not completed at all and they left their tools laying in my yard and left when I was not watching. To see if I could correct these issues, I emailed the office asking to cancel my remaining monthly service. No response in a week. I have left 3 phone messages in the last week with no response. Update: Did get a phone call from owner. He apologized. He said that his employees were not doing the job that he specified to them with written instructions. I did cancel the contract. The owner refunded my last month payment. I wonder if he will fire the non-performing employees. I have a low maintenance property. I'm just going to do all the landscape work myself.
