The driver did not stop when I honked. I knew it was the company because their company name is listed on the back of the trailer. When I reached out, the owner was at first sketptical and then thanked me. However, he is not cooperating with insurance companies and instead being evasive and not taking responsibility for his and his employees neglient actions. I highly reccommend you stay away from this company and these people. Let this be a lesson to everyone that this is the kind of people they are...and do you really want to do business with them. By far, Gerardo's turf samples were superb. I was happy with the quality of it. His quote wasn't the lowest but it was within range of where everyone else was at. We had concrete put in a few weeks ago and the final step of that was to place turf in between it. The work started quickly and was finished faster than I expected. Having moved into a house in Sun City Palm Desert in late September, we realized that the very bare back patio needed some serious attention. We met Hector in October and really liked his approach to drawing up a new look for our garden. All we had were several of the usual boxwoods, caesalpinia, and a lime tree. The new image had to be colorful so we approved the 5 yellow trumpet flower bushes because we love the hummingbirds and pollinators so much. Two additional spots would be occupied by two very generous ocotillos, always a favorite. We needed front and back faucets to be upgraded and a regular maintenance team as the spring season requires. We made a date for work to start in early December due to all of our personal commitments. The initial crew worked to rearrange the rocks in the patio area and set up the plantings. They are hard-working and knowledgeable and we appreciated the changes they made. Scheduling is easy with Hector because he responds to messages quickly and he is flexible and understands the importance of the client's needs. This past week the team arrived to prep the ground in the semi-circle of turf and to rearrange the rocks and clean up. We watched them work so hard from early morning to dusk and the results are pretty wonderful!! Should you decide to engage Hector's team you will be impressed by his obvious enthusiam for producing high quality results.

His 3D plans should have been approved in a day but our HOA took over 3 weeks to approve our plans but Obebd kept working making things happen. The crew showed up everyday between 7:05 and 7:30 and finished around 2:30 - 3:00 with clean up. His 4 man crew were extremely hard working even in the extreme summer heat. We had numerous quotes and Luxury was not the cheapest but his design ideas and integrity made it worth doing business with Luxury Landscaping. I was quite impressed with the Yelp reviews of Melo's Pools. I sent a quote request via Yelp and had a response within 10 minutes! Appointment was set for five days later. Albert and Pablo arrived to my home on time. They measured, took pictures and assessed the pool along with the pool pump system. We discussed ideas, timelines, finance options and they left me with a book that contained sample ideas. The following week I met both of them at their showroom to look at the actual tiles and find a match for the pebble. Albert and Pablo were great at making suggestions and giving me space without any pressures of making a decision, signing a contract, etc. A couple weeks later I signed contract and a demo date was set. The crew was on time the first day, and that stayed true until end of project. To no surprise there was a leak detected after opening up the plaster. Mauricio, the project manager, brought it to my attention immediately. He showed me the issue, explained what needed to be done, had a plan ready to go and with my sign off they had the issue fixed expeditiously and the project was kept on track. As a matter of fact, the project was completed a week earlier! Even my neighbors commented how quickly they worked and how great the pool turned out. From Day 1 to the end, the entire crew was respectful. Mauricio kept me updated on the progress of the project. Even after the project, Pablo and Mauricio came back (each separately) to ensure all was good. As I explained to them both, the tile is even more beautiful in the daylight and the colored grout was a perfect match! Worth every penny. Customer service is above and beyond at Melo's. While Melo's quote came in between the other two, we felt confident they would work closely with us to create our dream pool. Their detailed project timeline and professionalism gave us confidence from the start. We had already selected a glass waterline tile and needed expert guidance in choosing a pool finish that would be both beautiful and durable for years to come. Our Project Manager, Joaquin, recommended that we visit the NPT showroom in Palm Desert to explore our options. Following his expert advice, we selected a Stonescapes Mini Pebble finish in an aqua-blue color that perfectly complemented our tile choice. Throughout the demolition and remodeling process, Joaquin was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. His professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail helped ease any concerns and reassured us that our project was in capable hands. The day before demolition, Gabriel from the Melo's team arrived to drain the pool. The following morning, another crew arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. to remove the old plaster finish and ceramic tile. On the other side, a foot away from a concrete inground pool. Passing through this tight spot was an underground irrigation system AND also electrical cables for landscape lighting. I was so scared something was going to go terribly wrong. But Alex had a very unique tool - he says he's the only one in the Valley with it - that allows him to cut up the stump more carefully and deftly without nearby damage. He showed me the hole when he was done so that I could see the stump was GONE. Now, you'd never even know there was a tree there. If you need a tree and stump removed *carefully* from a particularly difficult spot, Alex and his crew excel at that and are superb.

Ponderiffic built our Koi Pond and a little extra landscaping around the pond recently and we have to say that of all the things we did in our backyard that the pond they built is just the best investment we made or spent our savings on. Everything turned out how we had hoped and as Ed Brown the owner said it would be. The owner is not just a behind the scenes guy, he actually spent time on site the majority of the project while the water feature was being built. We would hire them again no doubt. read more

We hired Ponderiffic a few years ago to do our pond and they built an incredible job for us. Recently we had them come back for a small repair and found the service to be even better. Yelp was not around then or we would have recommended them. Our pond and other landscape work they did has been the best investment we have made to our home period. Just to clarify. There was absolutely no concern about the pandemic for these guys. None. And as far as going out of state, we were told it was because you bought a place in Oklahoma and wanted to take your girlfriend there. Three times.He told us his parens died quite some time before and he did lose employees left and right. We were as understanding as could be about that. Ponderiffic has been in business in Beaumont since the mid 2000's and have built numerous wonderful water features in town. One special waterfall built recently at our Noble Creek Park Recreation Center is awesome and Ed Brown is an awesome contractor.
