I kept changing the plans with additional work and Obebd only said yes. He was 100% accommodating to everything I asked for and was always on time getting things done. We removed 7 palm trees, some existing 20 year old concrete and installed new pavers, rocks and boulder, plants, sprinklers and outdoor lighting. His 3D plans should have been approved in a day but our HOA took over 3 weeks to approve our plans but Obebd kept working making things happen. The crew showed up everyday between 7:05 and 7:30 and finished around 2:30 - 3:00 with clean up. His 4 man crew were extremely hard working even in the extreme summer heat. We had numerous quotes and Luxury was not the cheapest but his design ideas and integrity made it worth doing business with Luxury Landscaping. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and this company delivers that promise.

I had many bougainvillea & calliandra vines that were 26 years old and they removed all of them as well as the remaining plants, keeping only a few. Currently working through the project: stump removal. Began project April 26, 2021. Very responsive to original request. Pleasure to meet the owner as he finished up the project. *Scheduling appointments and providing accurate arrival times or updates for service is not stellar. If you have to arrange work or family schedules to accommodate personal oversight or provide details... it could be a challenge. In the end, project was completed (5/4/21) and the owner and crew are very pleasant. Again, this particular project was interesting and required multiple visits. Communication was a bit slow and sometimes not accurate... having worked with contractors/sub-contractors within this Coachella valley, (our personal experience help shape this review.) If this project was super simple, I believe it would have gone just fine, but a couple of wrinkles really challenged the finishing date. Conclusion: If you're interested in schedules and very detailed communication... it's a work in progress, but they're very kind. I'd give them another opportunity on a project. I'd ask for more details and press for proactive communication (detailed project plan, contingencies for any side issues and ability to adjust with communications, times and dates.) Super nice owners and seem like high quality people. Definitely worth giving them a call or a project. I'll update this review with any future thoughts or projects.

We hired Desert Landscape Line to complete the landscape portion of our backyard renovation, after…read moreour pool was added. We paid them roughly $11,000 in total which was overall a fair price for the amount of work it required, but the quality of their work leaves much to be desired. I hired them based off of a strict timeline because of our pool installation, and when certain items could be completed (I.E. moving dirt needed to be done before Pebbletec was sprayed, we agreed on this a month before they started). On the day they were supposed to start, they told me they overcommitted, and would not be able to start for another 2 weeks. This happened again in the middle of the job, they took on another project and did not show up for a almost a week. While they did a great job in a few areas- they suffered in more. It is now about 6 months since they completed our backyard and the putting green they installed is having to be redone as it is bubbling. Isaac did not put down weed barrier fabric as I had asked him to (he firmly told me it was not needed and asked that I 'trust him'), our $4k worth of rockery is now receding into the ground below, and we're having to pay a new landscaper a fair amount of $ to fix this and add new fabric underneath. Our turf is patchy, it is coming up at the seams around the perimeter. One of the workers cut a giant hole in my hedge which still, after 6 months, has yet to completely fill in. My advice to Desert Landscape Line...Your intentions are good, you are trying to operate professionally (the drawings were appreciated, Emerith does strive to provide great service) but the finishing work is quite poor. If you can't complete a job as expected with quality work, speak up and be honest. I would've rather paid more for somebody who took the time to do it right.

The job had already been inspected a few months back, installation holes dug and the rains would not stop. We had to wait for several weeks with the installation holes covered with plywood waiting. When the rains did subside I was getting calls from everyone holding a gun to my head asking me "where are our palms" ? In normal cases time is NOT of the essence, but I have to say, one call to Matt over at Desert Empire Palms and I soon found out I had nothing to worry about. We were able to discuss my job requirements in detail and and length by phone and Matt is beyond what I expected, his knowledge about what his end entailed with the palms [he loves palm trees] and his knowledge of even what was required on my end of the job was hard to believe. He was able to send me photos of the exact 20+ palms I needed for this big job and I was able to easily pay for them and have them delivered within three days. All of the diamond cut Phoenix Medjool palms look awesome in their new home now, and Matt has done excellent follow up on all of our aftercare questions and concerns.
