I am a landscape contractor located in Santa Clara, CA. I was in a real jam recently, I had a large commercial building project very near the new 49er stadium in Santa Clara that needed diamond cut medjool date palms yesterday. I never ever write reviews like this, but the owners driving almost killed me. The owner of this company ran a red light at Washington/Ave 48 in La Quinta, with a company vehicle and a trailer. He pulled out into my lane causing me to slam my breaks and swerve out of his way. Luckily, no one was in the lane to the left of me and I was able to get out of his way. My drink flew up on my dash and all over my passenger side because of how hard I had to slam on my breaks. He then flipped me off when I honked at him. I pulled up alongside of him and he started laughing at me as if almost killing me is funny or no big deal. The main reason I am posting this is because when I called to complain I was told the driver of the Raptor is the owner. If the owner is so careless when driving, I can only imagine how he is in business dealings. Based off his actions, the owner showed he has no character and is reckless. Laughing after nearly causing a multi car accident is beyond my understanding. In the future, when driving with a trailer do not pull out in front of cars going 50 miles an hour, when you have a RED light. It's dangerous and can result in serious injuries or death. read more

Today we received four date palms from Matthew and Desert Empire Palms. They arrived on time and ready to work to plant the trees. In addition, for a small fee they also planted an additional tree from another nursery that arrived on the site! We did not have the time to pick out the trees we wanted and left that up to Matthew. The trees were as close to the same size (which we wanted) as possible and appeared healthy and ready to be planted. I was a little concerned about the smaller root ball but Matthew assured us that this was the standard size. His crew was hard working and made sure they cleaned up the area when they were done.
