From the start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Their services are expensive, and I expected quality work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The owner, Gabriel Mariano, planted diseased trees and assured me they would recover in warmer weather or be replaced. Months later--after numerous phone calls and site visits--nothing has been done. Communication has been all talk, with no follow-through. The concrete patio was another major issue. It was poured with a weak sand-and-cement mix that lacked any gravel or aggregate. I raised concerns, and they promised a quality control inspection would visit the job-site. No one ever came and Gabriel could not provide the name or license number of the concrete subcontractor they used. Bottom line: once they're paid, they disappear. They don't stand behind their work or resolve problems. I do not recommend Mariano's Landscape. The pictures speak for themselves.

Turns out the original installation was flawed. The only connection in the run and the original install forgot to glue the joint. Depending on how we moved the pipe it may leak or not so after digging up and jack hammering the concrete footers underneath the retaining wall it finally let loose. We got several quotes for the large haul weed removal and Nick was the lowest and most reasonable by far. He worked with us on ways to keep the cost down but still get the end result we wanted. In the end he did an amazing job removing every single weed and dead plant, sprucing up our trees and edging our lawn.
