From my very first phone conversation with Emmanuel, I knew I had found the right company for my yard renovation project. That instinct turned out to be absolutely correct. Every aspect of the project was completed with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Emmanuel is, without question, one of the most professional, personable, collaborative, and talented contractors I have ever worked with. Throughout the entire project, he communicated with me daily to make sure every detail was being completed exactly as I envisioned and to my complete satisfaction. He also was on-site most days to be sure that everything was being done correctly. What really impressed me was even before I signed a contract, he was committed to helping me make informed decisions. He brought samples of artificial turf, ground cover, and paver options for me to review, making the design process easy and enjoyable. His proposal was thoroughly itemized, so I knew exactly what was included and exactly what the project would cost. Even better, the final invoice matched the agreed-upon price to the penny--no surprises, no hidden charges. The entire El's Landscaping crew was outstanding. They were friendly, professional, hardworking, and incredibly respectful of my property. At the end of each workday, they cleaned up thoroughly and left everything neat and orderly. That level of care and professionalism is rare and greatly appreciated. The finished project exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the results. So once again, my advice is simple: Hire El's Landscaping. If you do, I am confident you'll be just as thrilled with the experience and the results as I am. FIVE STARS AREN'T ENOUGH! (The photos only show one part of the whole project, but you can see what an awesome job they did with the turf around my putting green and the new pathway and circular area for my bistro table and chairs.) Having moved into a house in Sun City Palm Desert in late September, we realized that the very bare back patio needed some serious attention. We met Hector in October and really liked his approach to drawing up a new look for our garden. All we had were several of the usual boxwoods, caesalpinia, and a lime tree. The new image had to be colorful so we approved the 5 yellow trumpet flower bushes because we love the hummingbirds and pollinators so much. Two additional spots would be occupied by two very generous ocotillos, always a favorite. We needed front and back faucets to be upgraded and a regular maintenance team as the spring season requires. We made a date for work to start in early December due to all of our personal commitments. The initial crew worked to rearrange the rocks in the patio area and set up the plantings. They are hard-working and knowledgeable and we appreciated the changes they made. Scheduling is easy with Hector because he responds to messages quickly and he is flexible and understands the importance of the client's needs. This past week the team arrived to prep the ground in the semi-circle of turf and to rearrange the rocks and clean up. We watched them work so hard from early morning to dusk and the results are pretty wonderful!! Should you decide to engage Hector's team you will be impressed by his obvious enthusiam for producing high quality results.

The owner still wanted to know what he would charge for the tree removal, so I reached out again to request the pricing. Unfortunately, he failed to respond or provide any update. As a property manager, I rely on professional communication and follow-through so I can keep the property owner informed and make decisions accordingly. While I appreciate his honesty regarding his licensing status, the lack of communication and failure to follow up were unprofessional and disappointing. If you agree to provide a quote, the professional and courteous thing to do is follow through or communicate that you are no longer interested in providing one. After a short inspection, I was invoiced for $320! When I balked at that number, and said nobody informed me it would be such an egregious amount, and this was price gouging, I was threatened by them saying they were going to put a mechanics lien on my property. Who does this?? And apparently has a very good track record in court? I am in disbelief right now- who treats their customers like this? I have worked in the real estate business, sales, customer service and I have never experienced this in my entire lifetime. I can't even imagine how they have any positive reviews if this is the egregious price gouging that they confront people with! So a small consultation is now turning into them taking me to court?
