Although we are from San Diego, I was absolutely appalled at the bids I was receiving for a relatively small tree in the front yard of our desert house. Horrible experience. Called for a quote - Pedro came over and we agreed on a price for fruit tree trimming and some clean up on a couple of palm trees. Went way Downhill from here --- He said his wife would email a proposal - she never did. Called Pedro the next day - he said "Oh, I'm on the other line, can I call you back ?" I said "sure"-- he Never did. Called Lisa - his wife- she never called back. Then, out of the blue - Pedro texted to come over the next day when we were out of town- I called to reschedule, and, again he said he was on the other line and would Call Back. --- He did NOT. Lisa replied to me right away and was able to stop by the next day to give me a quote for trimming my mexican palm trees. Coincidentally, she was able to get the job done that same day! I gave her specific instructions not to rooster tail cut my palm trees like everybody does because the city and every arborist will tell you how that is not good for the health and longevity of these palm trees.
